Somewhat disappointed with check-in process. We are only Silver members but have always been treated with kindness and respect. This time is was just a matter of fact check-in. We asked for a luggage cart and were told there were not available and to stand back and wait, not a huge issue but were tired and wanted to get to our room immediately. We waited about 15 minutes before a cart became available. Disappointing.

This is a fairly new property very close to the terminal at PDX...short ride on the free shuttle. The property is also within walking distance of the train to downtown Portland. The location is a big plus in my opinion. Otherwise there were negatives here. I had to wait until after 3 pm to get into my room....being Diamond Hhonors and arriving at 2 pm, this was really a surprise. Selection of beverages/food at evening reception was below average for an ESuites. I would rate the property it... Read more

We like the Embassy Suites and even more so now that they are a part of the Hilton Chain. This hotel is very nice, staff was friendly and professional. And, very helpful. Really appreciated the shuttle drivers who helped me with logistics, picked me up at the rail stops and were as nice as could be. We took the rail into the city both days we were there. It is fast, reliable and inexpensive, given what a taxi ride or Uber would cost. Example, took an Uber in the first day for $25. Took the rai... Read more

This is a nice hotel. My room was right on the side of the building by the train tracks. I could hear the train at early hours in the morning. I could also hear airplanes coming and going.. I was hoping that it wouldn't be quite as loud. There was a Bible in my room which was nice. The doors are a little loud.. I could hear the room next to me all night. They have nice pastries if you have to catch an early flight. They offer free shuttle service to the airport with continuous service.

Several friends and I came to Portland for a memorial service for a friend. Our stay at the hotel went smoothly which, under the circumstances, helped our mood. I have come to expect good service while staying at Embassy Suites and this stay met my expectation.

My husband and I stayed here one night before we flew out early the next morning. Beautiful inside. Room was clean and very nice. Enjoyed the managers reception, with drinks and snacks. For dinner we ate at the restaurant in Embassy, food was very good and our waiter was great. We will stay here again next time we fly out.

The bathroom sink had black gunk around it and we did not get clean glasses our entire stay. The hotel is nice and staff we dealt with face to face were incredibly professional and polite. Housekeeping was horrid, not just our room but the lobby had weeks of dust. If they cleaned the place it would be awesome.

Staff were friendly at all levels - front desk, shuttle service, cleaning staff. Room was nice and the bed was comfy. About a mile from the airport. The shuttle can be requested at the airport after you arrive and they pop over to collect you. Easy, convenient. Airport noise was not very apparent and light rail passes right by the hotel too. I'm not sure if you can get on there or not. Breakfast was awesome!

This is an older property and is showing its age in many areas, including the individual rooms. Location next to the airport was great for us; no airport noise that we noticed. Staff was great in all areas. Room was clean, appointments were a little worn. The pull out couch/bed was horrible to sleep on -- could tell it had a lot of use. Breakfast was "eh" -- have had much better and fresher in other Embassy properties. This was just okay -- got the job done for one night.

Stayed here on a two-day business trip. Arrived at midnight, tired from a full day of travel, to find my room absolutely filthy. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned, including a pee stained toilet, and the bed was sagging and nasty with stains on sheets and duvet. Didn't take my shoes off the entire time. Whole place smells dank and damp. This Embassy Suites is clearly banking on steady airport traffic and one time guests. Won't make the mistake of staying here on my next visit to Portland.

This was by far the worst experience at any Hotel we have stayed at. Upon arrival on 6/16/16, everyone was great. They welcomed us as Hilton Honor members and gave us our Honors welcome bag. The Wi fi in the room was awful and I needed to access it, to be able to run my business. It was the slowest Internet and barely working, a very frustrating experience. When we travel we always enjoy the embassy pdx. From the friendly staff upon arrival to the great breakfast that's included In your stay. The rooms are roomy and room for the kids in a separate living room with pull out sofa..amenities are good. The only thing about this hotel and the area is that if you arrive late don't plan on getting any food so planning is important. The location to the Airport is superior and great to get in and out, shuttles run regularly for convenience.

This is one of the nicest Embassy Suites I have seen in recent years. The property looks fresh and clean, the rooms well appointed and uber-quiet given proximity to both runways at PDX. I recommend the Embassy suites for airport hotel because it is very luxurious and has a lot of amenities that most airport hotels don't have. This is a typical Embassy Suites, it is clean and maintained, but the rooms need to be updated. The hotel and staff were wonderful, but the decor is seriously old fashioned. This hotel has exactly two things going for it, the suite is large with two rooms and it is close to the airport. I recently stayed here for three nights. My room wasn't cleaned once. It smelled like old cat and the mattress smelled like sweat. The ice machine broke the second day and still wasn't fixed when I checked out. Room service was fast but nothing special. We have stayed at Embassy Suites several times (San Diego and Chicago) and found this particular "very close-to-the-airport" property only $26.00 more than a nearby Hampton. THE POSITIVES: Large rooms with excellent layouts, lots of plug-in sockets, an extended complimentary breakfast (too popular and at every Embassy property). Also, if you're too tired or unable to get out and locate a decent restaurant in the airport area (somewhat tacky), they have an above-average full-service restaurant... Read more

Reasons I stay here are, close to airport, clean rooms, restaurant on site, and the ability to leave car there during our trips. Prices are reasonable for Portland. Stayed here for a soccer tournament. Great location as lots of amenities close by, including the airport. Downtown wasn't too far to travel to either as we had to visit the famous Voodoo Doughnuts. Hotel rooms were spacious and as a HHonors member, we got extra perks such as free snacks and drinks in the room that my son loved. The morning breakfast buffet was included in the room cost and it was really good. I was surprised at the variety they offered (including an omelette bar). I'd definitely... Read more

Wasn't overly impressed. Any time I called the front desk, whether for help with internet, meal menus, transportation, I was shuffled off to someone else. Mainly automated machines. The breakfast was above average. Made to order omelette was really good. Although, when I asked the "chef" for a Western Omelette, he asked me what was in it. I had to do a double take to see if he was joking. He wasn't. Room was ok. The front staff informed me my room that I had picked out wasn't ready yet. ... Read more

Great rooms - a 2 room suite that gives you a place to sit and watch TV, a table to eat dinner, and a fridge to cool down your drinks all separate from the room you sleep in. Want a drink in the evening, just go downstairs to the managers reception. In the morning, go down for a cooked to order omelet, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy-- whatever you want. My daughter and I had a great stay at the Embassy Suites Portland Airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The made to order omelettes, breakfast buffet and indoor waterfall were lovely. Even though the property is at the airport and we were on the 4th floor facing the freeway, there was any significant noise and we slept well. It's not that far (15-20 minute drive) by car to downtown attraction and there is an outdoor mall just around the corner. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

I have been staying here about once a quarter for nearly 20 years. The place has held up fairly well over the years and it is pleasing to be greeted by the same staff throughout the facility year over year. Since the facility is near the airport, you get some jet noise, but it isn't that bad. I don't think they fly out after 11 or before 5-6 I cannot ascertain a consumer value as my company gets a corporate rate for the facility, but I feel the value is pretty good for what we pay.
