We stopped Ina trip from Vancouver to Salt Lake City. We had a major diversion as Snoqualmie pass was closed, so we arrived about 3 hours later than expected. The hotel check in was very quick as was check out. Breakfast was included and comprehensive. It was a good place to sleep before continuing our road trip

We stopped in due to trailer issues-no plans to make pendleton our stop for the night, but had to. I am so glad that we did! Our stay has been great thanks to the staff. Frank checked us in and made sure we got the best room since we had the dogs. The hotel was quiet and we felt safe leaving the boat in the parking lot know it wouldn't be messed with. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for an affordable, clean and welcoming place to rest your head!

Can't say enough about this place. Rooms are clean, smell good, are updated with modern design. Pets are invited with a nominal $20 fee. We stayed on two different nights a week apart and we were placed in a room near the back of the hotel for easy access to the grassy area with a stand providing dog waste baggies. The pool was clean and provided lots of pool toys for the kids. Breakfast was great and large pumppots of coffee are provided at all hours. The same employee, Jayden, checked us in ... Read more

This new, dog-friendly hotel was just perfect for our stay. It's right off the highway and our room offered a lovely view of the neighbour's expansive fields of grain, plus mountains in the distance. Very relaxing after a long day's drive! Dogs are an extra $20 but there is grass right out the side door for their use. Only downside is the limited choice of restaurants within walking distance. We went with Shari's which has ok food and a take out option. However, there's a good Safeway at the n... Read more

Convenient location just off the highway, good parking as we were pulling an enclosed trailer. Friendly check-in, nice clean updated rooms. Nice linens, fluffy towels and the bed was great. Welcoming breakfast room with good breakfast selections.

What a treat to discover this hotel right off the freeway and at the quiet end of the "hotel strip". I was impressed. The hotel is new, has impressive valley views but most of all a super friendly staff. Ronni and her staff were super efficient and attentive. No mess in the breakfast area as Ronni was cheerfully cleaning up spills in a most gracious way. My grandkids enjoyed the heated indoor pool after a long day of being in the car. One of them forgot her toiletry bag and the front desk suppli... Read more

Unfortunately, the choices in Pendleton to stay a night aren't the very best. This stay was no exception. The hotel is in need of a major remodel. It was clear that there was some attempt to update the bathroom, but it wasn't enough. It was acceptable for a night, but I wouldn't be eager to stay here again. The other odd thing is how all the hotels in Pendleton seem to be grouped together at one exit, with all the food at a different exit. This isn't a criticism of this Holiday Inn Express... Read more

Excellent Holiday Inn Express. The manager who checked us in was flexible, offering to keep the pool open longer for the kids (since we were arriving pretty late), and offering to let us check out later if necessary. The pool was warm rather than cold, and there is a large net container filled with pool toys, like blow-up balls and animals, and floater noodles, too. It made an impression on me and the kids, and it further let us know we were expected to have fun at the hotel. I really like t... Read more

If you don't set your sights too high at Holiday Inn Express, you won't be disappointed. Nothing wrong with it, and nothing to get excited about, but the price is good. Fine for a quick stopover, which I guess is what most travelers do.

Stayed here a couple of days as it was a business trip. Room was great. A nice view of the country side. Micr-refridge in room, flat screen TV., guest laundry, nice fitness center with modern equipment. Hot breakfast, and a business center with printer that actually worked.

New and clean; breakfast is a great added value. The manager/owner is polite, attentive and concerned about the guest experience. Would stay here again. Conveniently right off the freeway. Lots of choices for breakfast. ?????????????????????

We spent one night here while on our way to the Washington coast. If you find yourself stuck in Pendleton overnight, I highly recommend staying here. The room was quiet & clean and the bed was comfortable. We were traveling with our two pups and they have a nice grassy area around the building for dog walks. The staff was very courteous & friendly. I also liked that they had peeled hard boiled eggs available in their breakfast buffet, as not many places offer them.

Hotel is on the far end of a small motel strip (Red Lion, etc.) and quiet because of the dead end. Beautiful view across the plains to the south. Great courtesy shown by all the staff. AND -- small but appreciated detail -- the coat hangers actually can be removed from the rod and used to steam wrinkled clothing in the bathroom.

This hotel is consistent with other Holiday Inn Express' I have stayed at. Quiet, clean, great breakfast, comfy beds/pillows, air conditioning....Great place to stay! Right off the highway with direct access to downtown close to a gas station and restaurant. Nice pool/hot tub area and is great for families. There is also a guest laundry facility which works well!

Quick check in - friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, good breakfast. We asked what the best pizza place was and he told us which one it was, gave us a coupon for it and a menu. Abby's pizza was great!

Great staff, rooms, and nice area in back to enjoy the view. Quiet area but near the downtown area. The big John Deere tractor was a big hit with our grandchildren. So was the dinosaur at the Sinclair. Would definitely return.

We needed to break up a long drive and this worked great. Very quick and easy access to the freeway. Extended hours until 12:30 for breakfast made a big difference for my lazy girls. Friendly and courteous employees!

We stayed in Pendleton on our way to the Washington Coast and HIE did not disappoint. We booked on line and let them know we wouldn't be arriving until around 1:00 a.m. When we pulled in, the desk clerk was waiting for us and checked us in quickly so we could get our littles in to bed. The room was very large: 2 queen beds, a pull-out sofa bed, and plenty room in between for suitcases. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed was squeaky and made noise anytime someone changed position, but I... Read more

Sparkling clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Room was set up nicely with a desk and chair and an easy chair in the corner. Microwave and a large fridge. Nice TV, good breakfast. This seems to be a well-managed hotel. My only complaint is that the A/C was not set to have the room cool when we arrived. I consider that to be very minor, and will look forward to returning.l

This was my first time visiting the property. I chose this hotel because of my loyalty to IHG and my love of Holiday Inn Expresses. This hotel was just as nice as the others I have stayed at. Ronnie, the desk manager was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The gentleman at the desk in the morning was friendly as well. I did not have any issues but trust that if I did Ronnie would handle it like a pro!

A convenient, clean place to stay for business travel- great price without compromising on service or amenities. It's right at the end of the street with a big valley of farmland behind it- makes for a very peaceful stay. I'm in Pendleton for business several times a year and plan to frequent this place.

We have stayed here a couple times when traveling through Oregon. It's a great stopping point and so convenient right off the freeway. They are very accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and clean and we live that they are pet friendly! Breakfast is included and they have a good continental offering. We would stay here again and again for a quick nights stop.

Clean, convenient and has dog-friendly rooms with grassy little outdoor space. Perfect for last-minute quick stop on road trip. Bonus points for picnic table in outdoor doggy area, where we fired up our camp stove and made our own coffee while watching sun come up. Also has good breakfast spread, wifi and other helpful amenities.
