Room was clean, breakfast was good! Unfortunately the spa was broke :-( kids got disappointed because the hotel didn't have cookies ( something silky they look fwd. To) we went to dinner at Georgies, which isn't far and the food was great.

We stayed here one night while in town for a wedding. The hotel looked relatively new, the service was good, and the room looked clean. We did not make it to the free breakfast, but it looked like a pretty decent spread. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

We can't say enough good things. Room was comfortable, clean, quiet. It even rained a bit to insure good night's sleep. Laundry had two washers, available, accessible, functional. Did not even quibble about my change. Full breakfast was delicious. Biscuits were ok, gravy was good! Breakfast included eggs, meats, pancakes, fruit, juice. Large room with plentiful seating. Spotless as was the rest of the place. We had decided to stay an extra night upon arrival which was handled smoothly ... Read more

We were given probably the worst room in the hotel. We checked in late in the evening with a reservation made several weeks in advance. We were given a ground floor room with a view of the parking lot. There was only one other room there. It was next to the conference, laundry and dining areas. I should have asked for another room, but we were tired and only staying the one night. While the breakfast was the second best on the trip it was marred by the zoo like atmosphere of the dining are... Read more

We got a room on the top floor so it had a nice view of the bay. The room was clean and the best was comfortable. The desk staff members were very welcoming and helpful. Their breakfast buffet was huge, including sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cinnamon buns, and more. I would stay there again.

Located over the estuary to the South of Newport, you need to go back North over the bridge for restaurants, etc. Room and hotels good and clean. Only negative was I felt was in a budget hotel as coffee cups and glasses in room were all plastic and disposable. Similarly, free breakfast OK, but again plates paper, cutlery plastic, cups paper, 1st time I've come upon this in IHG, and as price middle range, felt rather economy / budget.

Hotel was fine enough but the location wasn't great. South side of the bridge bay in an industrial area. If you're just looking for a place to stay it'll work. If you're looking for a true Newport/beach setting, I'd keep looking. There are a couple other chains that'll get you closer to the beach.

We've stayed here before and feel it's much better than the La Quinta next door. This hotel is easily located at the south end of the Newport bridge. It's also within walking distance of the Newport aquarium and Rogue brewing.

This was a clean, quiet, friendly hotel. We were so tired after a day of softball and travel. The two ladies at the front desk took time to share their favorite restaurants and sites with us. They even asked us to them what we thought when we returned. We will stay here again. The hot tub could use some updating, but the rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable.

The hotel was much nicer than I expected for the price. The room was immaculate and comfortably furnished, and the entire hotel was so well-maintained it felt brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the included breakfast was pretty good and included eggs, sausage, and waffles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The difference between an economy and a luxury hotel is that most likely you will NOT find hairs on bedding when you check in to a luxury hotel. The room was nice enough, but it had a little bit of a smell. On looking at the pillow and bed, we saw two long black hairs on the pillow. Throwing back the covers, we saw another hair on the sheets. Super gross! We told the front desk clerk who seemed horrified and said she would check it out. We went out to dinner; returned, and nothing had bee... Read more

After a long but great drive from Astoria south along the coast to Newport, it was great to be so warmly welcomed by the front desk of this hotel. They truly seemed to be glad we chose to stay with them! Our king bed suite was amply sized, with a sofa, refrigerator and microwave. We were too tired to go out, so the front desk pointed us to the paper/plastic products in the breakfast area, so we could make a sandwich in our room. I travel for business, and I use Priceline to book rooms some of the time. Many times, I don't know exactly how many nights I need to book since business sometimes is resolved quicker than I plan for it to. Either way, I booked two nights here (on Priceline) anticipating needing them, but ended up not needing the second night. I left at 8 AM and informed the front desk I didn't need the second night, they didn't say anything about it. I get my credit card statement later on and find out I am bei... Read more

This was a nice hotel with modern décor. We had a clean room with a/c that worked very well. Our room had a small view of the water over the aquarium & shops, and we enjoyed walking to the little antique store across from the hotel. Our room was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Our only annoyance was that the hot tub was out of order. We choose hotels with pool and hot tub because it is something we enjoy at the end of a long day of driving. The hotel is clean with excellent access to the museum and crabbing from the public dock. The free continental breakfast provided options for everyone. The kids loved the pool too. I will add that it is difficult to get the best rate at this property without being a member of their club.

Check in took a bit prof time but staff were very friendly and helpful. Room has a smell of damp but too tired to say anything. Team and Coffee Facilities, free parking and breakfast was good. Laundry facilities were also clean and cheap. Pool was very chlorine and unable to stay in it for too long, I think this may need checking. Disabled access to pool rusting away looks un professional. General an OK place, not the best needs more attention.

Wonderful beds, quiet, friendly (even to bikers) and one of of the best continental breakfasts I've had.
