Stayed here for a quick nights sleep as a friend and I traveled through the Portland area. The service from the staff was great during our short stay. We arrived later in the evening and left pretty early the next morning to continue driving. Rooms were a little out-dated but we had everything we needed (bed and shower).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We booked through Orbitz and had a non-smoking standard room. We were given a smoking suite and it was eh. The jacuzzi tub was nice but it hooked up to the same water system as the neighbor's jacuzzi. This means at 9:00 pm, when the neighbors used their tub, our room erupted with a loud booming noise that didn't stop for half an hour. We called front desk and the owner was nice, but it was super annoying.

My family and I stayed here for one night and the room was nice and it suited our needs. The beds were comfortable. The hotel served continental breakfast but we didn't go since there was only one table and not a big selection of food. The location of the hotel was close to shopping and restaurants and close to Portland downtown area.

My car was stolen with all of my things in it. (I just drove across the country so literally every single item to my name was stolen) Is it just a coincidence that the hotel cameras conveniently didn't work? DONT STAY HERE

We stayed 3 nights - the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The thing we liked the most was that this motel is right on a major street and the room was really quiet (no road noise or neighbors).

Spacious rooms at a great price for our family of 4. All expectations were met. It is in a nice location for food, park, River and public transportation. We got unlucky and were assigned a room next to a coin operated washer and dryer that was frequently being used. It was a brief distraction. The people working here could use some practice smiling. Not a complaint just a suggestion. Only complaint I had was finding the office locked when I came by at 7:00 for coffee. It was unlocked shortly aft... Read more

We were so pleasantly SHOCKED at this room! It looked Brand NEW! Like the building crew had just left! First of all the room was HUGE! We thought it was a mistake! There is a small Living/Kitchenette room with couch, flat screen, fridge, micro and sink (no other cooking facilities) a half wall separated the two queen beds, which you could bounce a quarter off of, the sheets were so artfully folded. The half wall really helped cut down on any road noise. We heard none. The bathroom was hu... Read more

It was nice place. Well lit area and near a lot of food locations. About 3 to 5 min from the 205 interstate. The staff was polite. My only issue was the bed was a little hard, but my wife thought it was fine. So I guess its just your preference. It was quiet for the most part as well. I would definitely go back.

A recent family reunion in the area made it necessary for my family of 4 to find nearby lodging. Several other places were already completely booked. This place looked reasonable online for the price. I found it to be a basic motel that is a bit older, but was clean and met our needs. We essentially only slept there. The "continental breakfast" isn't much more than coffee but we weren't really wanting to eat breakfast there considering all of the other great culinary options around the Portland ... Read more

We stayed here one evening. It was comfortable and affordable. There was a partially enclosed outdoor pool and hot tub. There was a washer and dryer ($1). There were lots of convenient places close by (Walmart, restaurants, movie theater...etc.) Some of the downsides were dated rooms, bathroom door was thin, not sure what material it was made of... didn't close easily. The description of the hotel said they offered a free breakfast. This was a disappointment. There was coffee, English muffins an... Read more

Stopping in Portland to visit family our reservation at the original destination did not have sufficient days. We found the Econlodge online and were pleasantly surprised. The motel is well cared for, a pool & hot tub, clean spacious rooms with great amenities, including a separate area with sofa and TV. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area.

The rooms are very basic but were larger than expected. The furnishings need to be updated. Our room was very tired looking. The room was clean but show signs of age and dust along the edges of the walls. We were pleased that the bed was more comfortable then we expected.

I spend a lot of time in hotels because of my work and this hotel will amaze you. The grounds are impeccable, the room are super clean, all of the furniture and TV are top notch, it is a very reasonable price place that is comparable to Hi-Line hotels. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of the best we found on our 7,200+ mile trip. Not knowing the community in some places, one has to determine where to stay. We chose this Econo Lodge due to being in the vicinity of Bob's Red Mill that we wanted to visit. Clean, well kept, breakfast pastries and coffee, and much to our happy surprise, a washing machine and dryer at very reasonable prices. Our king bed room was double the size of most. Not too far from the highway. A pleasant welcoming desk clerk is always a bonus aft... Read more

First room had a really strong chemical smell and had to switch room. Second room on the second floor - no elevators. Breakfast was not as advertise (fair warning) coffee, and bulk package bakery from Costco. Carpet was very dirty, filled with unknown brown and black stains. Bed was clean and comfortable (at least one of them). The second bed had dark spots and reddish stain on the pillows, bed sheets, and comforter. The hotel is old. Nothing is modern. Wifi works well. We needed a place to stay on the outskirts of Portland. We didn't know much about this hotel but the price was right and it had good reviews. What a pleasant surprise. There is a large lounging area in the rooms with another TV, a couch, a small fridge and a microwave. Very clean. A modest continental breakfast is included. Very nice!!

This hotel leaves something to be desired, to be honest. The room we were in was in a small hallway where heaven forbid you ran the A/C then the hallway turned into a sauna. The room was clean but the bathroom wallpaper was bubbling and you could see what appeared to be mold growing along the top of the wall. Parking is a giant joke so get there early if you can otherwise you may not find room to park. We did not even peruse the continental breakfast so could not tell you much about that.

There are few motels close to SE Portland where we needed to be. This is an average budget hotel. The mattress was comfortable, the room clean and basic. Coffee was only available in the lobby and it was just okay. No elevator to second floor. If it is crowded, noise might be a problem. It wasn't full when we were there. We stayed several nights.
