Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, easy parking - the coast, Portland and Columbia river all within easy reach, a small town that makes a excellent base to visit the above.. A nice Chinese restaurant recommended by hotel was also excellent, it's walkable and excellent food and service.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days step into the past. 1990s style needs to be updated. The sink doesn't drain and it has lots of chips needs to be replaced the decor is definitely been well worn. Breakfast needs something to be desired. If you like cereal you'll be okay that's about all there is. Many of the doors and door casings are really beat. I did feel the room was clean for as worm as it was I think this hotel could make lots more money if they updated and offered a real breakfast to eat... Read more

We called ahead to ensure they were in fact cat friendly and secured a quote of $65 dollars for a room that night plus the standard $10 pet fee which was no issue. However upon arrival we were informed that we would have to take a pet friendly room for not only $30 dollars more but also when checking out the next day they tacked a $10 pet fee on top on that which the front desk receptionist failed to inform us of upon checking in. Overall for $110 we felt the quality was quite poor, considering ... Read more

Kaityln checked us in and she is incredibly friendly and helpful. She was training someone else and asked if it was ok if the new person made the reservation and if we had time and we said sure. She was very respectful to the new person and very patient. We were checked in quite quickly and they said they went ahead and put us in a room that was away from other guests. They told us about the amenities and the breakfast. The room was clean and simple and the window opened, which is a plus for so... Read more

It is a good place to stay for one night if you are in a hurry and do not have time to find a nicer facility. There was no toilet paper or paper towels in the public guest restroom. The room were in smelled horrible as in STRONG Febreeze. We had to open the window to air it out in order to be able to stay in it. The continental breakfast is good for a quick bite. There was no regular oatmeal, just the types with tons of sugar in it. They were out of it. There was no butter for the bagles, only ... Read more

I read some of the other reviews and I think sometimes people have too great of expectations for a hotel of this quality. This is not a four star hotel. The cost is very much in line with what you get. What we got was a clean room (didn't smell bad at all) a decent bed, quiet enough, etc. The breakfast was the usual for a best western type of hotel. They were competely full the night before we arrived and they still checked us in an hour early. Service was great.

Rooms were really clean and the staff was friendly...great value for the price! The location was close enough to anything in McMinnville. We enjoyed our stay and would return. I recommend the GuestHouse Vineyard Inn to anyone looking for a good value for your money.

Nice hotel, clean sheets, comfortable beds/pillows. Newly painted pool and hot breakfast. Breakfast needs some more selection and there wasn't enough food. Decor is dated but overall I would stay there again. The price is consistent with what you get!

We had to take our grandson to college and stayed at the Guesthouse Vineyard Inn McMinnville. We loved it because it was just 2 minutes from his college and it made things a whole lot easier when we had to go back and forth to the college to drop things off to him and for functions they had there. The staff at this hotel were super nice. Our room was very nice and clean and the maids came in daily to clean and left it spotless. All in all we enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay agai... Read more

Pretty worn out and uninviting. One of those places that reminds you that 300+ people have slept in the bed youre trying to sleep in during the last year. The velour couch added an extra touch. If you need a room it's a decent place for one night.

Location was OK only farther from downtown than I thought. The hotel was clean but rooms are tired and need refreshed badly. Outdated furniture and a very old TV. Free breakfast was just OK too but at least it was free!! Requested a Queen bed and it was a very small queen and the matress was not great. We especially liked the road work that was done outside our window at 3 AM!! I don't hold the hotel responsible but I rather think the location was at fault.

Although I had seen the ratings for this hotel, I was still pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room was quite large, even for a double queen. It's an older property, but it is clean and well kept. And the most pleasant surprise was that the person who checked us in offered to adjust our bill to the government rate, which we didn't even know we qualified for! There might be newer hotels there with more bells and whistles, but the price and amenities suited our purposes perfectly.

We arrived after a very hectic Labor Day weekend at this site. There were software people around, the staff was very attentive and accommodating. When we misplaced our keys, they gave us a temporary replacement. When we asked for more pillows, no problem. The WIFI was the best of our trip. No issues with connectivity. Our room was adequate and furnished with attractive oak country style furniture. We had a seating area with a love seat and coffee table. There is a small fitness center, sw... Read more

Comfortable, clean, convenient to area just south of McMinnville. Room smallish, but nice couch and expected amenities. Decent breakfast. If you need someplace to shower and sleep while attending a function in the area, this is fine.

We were passing thru McMnnville to see friends. Made reservations on short notice and all the known brand hotels were booked or had jacked up their prices so we discovered this one for a reasonable price. Turns out it was the week kids returned to college! We were pleasantly surprised with our was bright and cheery; had light oak furniture; a sitting area with a coffee table and couch; a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was a little sparse. We were there at 8:45 and they were out of... Read more

Good hotel in need of a refresh. Best sleep i had the whole trip. Did not try the free breakfast. Staff was courteous enough. Slow elevator which was kind of representative of the overall need for a remodel. Good location between town and air museum.

I booked this hotel on the Red Lion website thinking it was actually a Red Lion hotel. But after trying to check into the actual Red Lion in town, discovered that this hotel "does business as a Red Lion". Don't be fooled, this is far from it. The rooms are very small, in need of remodel, and, I hesitate to say, shabby. They share a parking lot with motel 6! The characters hanging around outside each time we came in concerned me. I guess this gets a pretty high rating for McMinnville because ther... Read more

We stayed overnight to visit the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. The rooms have the refrigerator and the microwave oven. The TV and the internet worked fine. Has plenty of parking space. Children enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. Complimentary breakfast. Near grocery store to pick up the overnight necessities. Stay was brief but served it's purpose.

Unfortunately, throughout my visit it rained with strong winds and even a tornado at Manzanita nearby on the coast. The bed was very comfortable; the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming; the breakfast was entirely adequate with coffee, juices etc, cereals, bread/toast/muffins and boiled eggs; nice big modern flatscreen TV; swimming pool and a compact but useable fitness centre. Although other reviews said the wifi was good (a key reason for choosing this hotel) it did not work above 0.5... Read more

I stayed here after visiting the Evergreen Air Museum. It is on the highway a little outside the downtown area where all the action is located. Room was a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great for a quick overnight stay. The restaurants and night life are in town a few miles away.

GuestHouse Vineyard Inn is a "no-frills" hotel. It is clean and comfortable and close to downtown McMinnville, the Evergreen Air Museum and world class wineries. Some amenities include: continental breakfast, an additional pull-out bed, and a free in-room safe, as well as a pretty large refrigerator/freezer and microwave. However, the rooms are small and fairly drab. Could use some updating. Still the price was affordable, the staff was friendly and the hotel and rooms were very clean..... Read more
