We selected this hotel as our base for a two day visit to relatives in Lake Oswego. We chose a ground floor two room suite for the two nights. The location is excellent with individual room terraces facing the lake. Our double bed was firm and comfortable. The room was very clean, and everything in the bathroom worked. The bedrooms are located at the rear of the suite configuration and have high, narrow windows opening off a tall light well that contains the main stair to the upper levels. Priva... Read more

My wife and I (and then 1 child, and then 2 children) have stayed here 1-2 nights at least once or twice a year for the past 6 or more years. Suite rooms are quite nice, especially with little kids. Rooms look out over Lake Oswego-generally private but people walking the lakeshore trail on the North side of the lake can see into some of the rooms. Clean & staff typically helpful. Decent little continental breakfast in morning. VERY walkable to nearby restaurants & shops. Cute little pool-also cl... Read more

The property is nice, a little hard to park but once you are there, it is a lovely setting. The people who work there are very kind and helpful; they moved us to a nicer room when one became available. Highly recommended. We are regulars here as we like it so much.

My husband and I stayed here for nine days during our young granddaughters spring break. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view from our room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, chest of drawers, closet and tv. The seating area was adequate with a sofa sleeper,as we had our two grandchildren overnight for a few nights, a desk and a tv. Dishes, paper towels, dishwashing soap... Read more

We stayed two nights here. All rooms face the lake, and if we stayed again I would choose a room away from the lobby as we were right above it and one morning they were doing some sort of loud cleaning outside the lobby. The ice machine also makes a lot of noise right outside the lobby. From our beds, you basically looked at a huge wall of the motel as were at the end of the hall closest to the lobby. So next time I'd ask for a room at the other end of the hotel, away from the lobby, so you co... Read more

The Lakeshore Inn overlooks Lake Oswego and is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and grocery store. The one-bedroom rooms are standard, but the two bedroom suites have two bathrooms, full kitchen, dining and living room areas, and large balcony overlooking both the pool and lake. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the location was great. The rooms are a bit dated and there was A/C only in the main living area. Since the rooms face west, this means the unit can heat up signifi... Read more

The location can't be beat. Easy walk throughout Lake O downtown. We didn't have a "lakefront room" because we were just crashing there while visiting relatives. The room was very average, but of course this was balanced by what I think was a very fair price for the room -- Something like $130 per night, which is pretty decent for the rather trendy Lake O. They have coffee service in the morning as well as limited pastries and fruit, and the folks working there were pretty friendly. The worst... Read more

The hotel building is quite old (with the smallest elevator I have seen). Free parking is available, although the spots are a bit tight. That being said, it appears the fixtures in the room have been updated and the bed was quite comfortable. The property and our room was very clean and as I was working during the day at the hotel, I observed staff tending to the property each day. If I came back, I would make a point to get a lakeview room. Another review said "all rooms face the lake" and tha... Read more
