My husband and I stayed here for nine days during our young granddaughters spring break. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view from our room with a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, chest of drawers, closet and tv. The seating area was adequate with a sofa sleeper,as we had our two grandchildren overnight for a few nights, a desk and a tv. Dishes, paper towels, dishwashing soap... Read more

We stayed two nights here. All rooms face the lake, and if we stayed again I would choose a room away from the lobby as we were right above it and one morning they were doing some sort of loud cleaning outside the lobby. The ice machine also makes a lot of noise right outside the lobby. From our beds, you basically looked at a huge wall of the motel as were at the end of the hall closest to the lobby. So next time I'd ask for a room at the other end of the hotel, away from the lobby, so you co... Read more

The Lakeshore Inn overlooks Lake Oswego and is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and grocery store. The one-bedroom rooms are standard, but the two bedroom suites have two bathrooms, full kitchen, dining and living room areas, and large balcony overlooking both the pool and lake. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the location was great. The rooms are a bit dated and there was A/C only in the main living area. Since the rooms face west, this means the unit can heat up signifi... Read more

The location can't be beat. Easy walk throughout Lake O downtown. We didn't have a "lakefront room" because we were just crashing there while visiting relatives. The room was very average, but of course this was balanced by what I think was a very fair price for the room -- Something like $130 per night, which is pretty decent for the rather trendy Lake O. They have coffee service in the morning as well as limited pastries and fruit, and the folks working there were pretty friendly. The worst... Read more

The hotel building is quite old (with the smallest elevator I have seen). Free parking is available, although the spots are a bit tight. That being said, it appears the fixtures in the room have been updated and the bed was quite comfortable. The property and our room was very clean and as I was working during the day at the hotel, I observed staff tending to the property each day. If I came back, I would make a point to get a lakeview room. Another review said "all rooms face the lake" and tha... Read more

Cons: -The beds don't have much support, you really sink down into them a lot. If you don't need any support, you may li... Read more

Rooms overlook the beautiful Lake Oswego. So pretty! Suite was very large, and clean. It's obviously an older building but it appeared the room had been recently remodeled. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Decent bathroom. The exit through the sliding door to the outside deck was "interesting" and could be a tripping hazard, so just watch your step when going out. There's a nice pool right on the lake - very pretty but the weather was much too cold during ... Read more

Good place to stay if you want to stay in that area. Many amenities and a nice view of the lake. "Breakfast" is not much but there is an amazing French Bakery about 100 yds away where we had breakfast. Also a really good Tai restaurant walking distance down the street. We would stay again. And yes, next to railroad tracks but not a big deal.

This is a great hotel in a wonderful location. We loved the view from the balcony. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Train noise exists but it did not bother us. Nice restaurants within walking distance.

Small 3 level lodging off State St. next to public pocket park and overlooks Lakewood Bay--main lake need private boat through a narrows. Dark 1 bdrm (ok mattress) fan for cooling-other is A/C insert in Living Rm-kitchen combo with balcony overlooking water.. Vintage furniture, couch, desk, kitchen+dishes. Very clean. Walls thin so expect noise. Swimming pool hangs over lake. Within 500 ft of food-drinks-movie-Starbucks-groceries. Parking is a PAIN! Best to park early as public uses same small lo... Read more

This is an older motel on the Lake. The great thing is that it is Right On The Lake! Great view, nice swimming pool (outdoor) right next to the lake. The building is a four story, but has an elevator. Exterior needs some TLC but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Mattresses a little on the squish or soft side but not uncomfortable. The parking lot is very tight, and only one way in and out onto a busy busy street making it a little challenging. Next door on one side is a couple lakefront eatin... Read more

Great spot for the hotel!! It's right on the lake and near a shopping center!! It was perfect for what I was doing, which was visiting family that lives near by. The hotel is a bit old but none the less it was a nice stay.

Visiting friends in Lake Oswego and chose Lakeshore Inn. It's an older complex that needs updating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our king room had a separate bedroom + kitchenette and a balcony overlooking Lake Oswego - very nice. The bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. We walked to nearby bars and restaurants and loved being outside on a perfect fall day.

Pros: We had a room facing the pool and lakes. Views are great. Decent room size. You are next to many restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff. Free parking Cons: There is a loud train that you can hear each night, wish there was more than a vending machine to buy refreshments. Some parts of Inn needs some remodeling

Lake Shore Inn is nestled on Lake Oswego right by all the shops and restaurants that make a one or two night getaway wonderful. It took us 40 min in traffic to get there from the airport. The Hotel is an older property that could use some loving care. But it makes up for it in its location and walking distances to coffee shops, bakeries, wine shops and great food. For us, we went wine tasting by day and eating with friends by night and had a wonderful day. Our friends got a late flight out on... Read more

Lakeshore Inn is a great place to stay. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping and the Farmer's Market. They are very dog friendly. They provide a basket of supplies for your pet and you can also borrow a crate if you need to leave your pet in the room for a while. The room was very clean, had a view of the lake and everything that we needed. We had tried to book another weekend when they were booked solid. They put us on a waiting list and called us a few days late... Read more

We enjoyed our two day stay at the Inn. Right on the lake with a very nice King room with a lake view and not a paper, styrofoam, or plastic glass be seen. Well equipped unit with comfortable chairs for two.
