We always enjoy staying in at this Garden Inn. The location is quiet, well removed from the Interstate. The breakfast is nice and the rates very reasonable. We had adjoining rooms that gave more privacy.

I checked in on line so when I got to the hotel my room was ready and I just picked up the key. Clean room, comfy bed. TV lacked a bit. No in room movies! What hotel doesn't have pay per view movies??? The gym was SMALL!! 4 machines and no weights at all. Very disappointing. Good stay. Would I stay there again, yes.

Windows do not open, loud AC and bad smell in the room. Questionable cleanness of the room. Black Long hair in the bathroom. Checked out after one night and went to the Fairfield which is next to the Garden Inn. This is much better compared to the Hilton.

I only stayed in this hotel one night but that one night was not good. It was raining when I arrived, so I parked in the underground parking. The elevator has to be the slowest in town, it took forever to get to the parking garage. Then only one elevator (out of 2) went to the garage, so if you happen to get to the first floor, you have unload your luggage and wait for the one tht does go down. On the day I checked out 3 elevator came to my floor and all were full. I notice that there was a ... Read more

I really appreciated the staff at the Hilton. They were very friendly and were happy to accommodate my late arrival and my food allergies. I arrived/checked-in 10 minutes before the kitchen closed but they were happy to make me a special meal and bring it to my room. The food was priced very reasonably and tasted GREAT. Best hotel experience possible!

We were passing through Portland on our way to Seattle from California, and chose the location because we are loyal Hilton Diamond members, convenient location off I-5 and we knew the Garden Inn would provide everything we needed. The hotel was filled with a seniors tour group, but we just took our breakfast to the room (dining room packed), and it didn't distract from the always Hilton friendly service with a smile staff. Quiet, good night's sleep in clean room, delivering Hilton expectations.

Doing a 2700-mile road trip in 10 days, the Portland area was our stopping point about half-way through. I can sleep anywhere that is clean and safe, but my traveling companion has very high expectations when it comes to hotel accommodations. I'm thankful this Hilton Garden Inn didn't disappoint. We arrived early in the evening but were too tired from driving to go out to dinner. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room we had reserved was not available on 6/11, however. Staff's response was that they would credit 5000 points back to our reward account, as we were using points for the reservation. Of course, no refund of points was ever made. So their Hilton Garden inn "promise to do whatever it takes to ensure youâ??re satisfied, or you donâ??t pay. You can count on us. GUARANTEEDâ?˘" is mostly bunk. At least at this location.

A beautiful facility but a little hard to find as we were not on I-5". Good service, but expect to pay $10.00 for breakfast which at the price of the room should be complementary. The walls are thin and we could hear the man next door on his cell phone. Slept well when he was not on the phone.

the hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly. Well-placed to many amenities and dining options (some better than others). Pool left a little to be desired as it was an echo chamber and if there were kids making a rucus the pool area would cause quit the headache. I would still recommend this hotel for the great rooms and service.

Although undergoing some upgrades the inconvenience was minimal. Staff was very helpful and friendly. No breakfast included but served in the lobby for $10. Best rates found given the convenient location to Washington Square, Bridgeport Shopping Center, quality eateries and Starbucks! :-) Recommend the facility.
