The room was just OK. The thing that hacked me off was the breakfast. On a scale of 1-10 it was a -3.. Most likely I will never stay @ a Days Inn again because of the breakfast.

The rooms itself were clean and very nice. They're close to many things in the town and made it easy for traveling. BUT the pool.. Was disgusting, i dont know what was in the water but it was a murky yellow and the hot tub was a Luke warm bath tab, the water smelt like piss on our skin. The man that works at the front desk was SO rude. I don't know his name, I spoke with him over the phone and he was arguing with me, raising his voice, and so on. Great value! Good clean place to stay with typical breakfast. There was a $1.50 charge for use of a safe in the room that was easy to check by mistake. Charge to use the safe? I, like I am sure many others, just checked it off by mistake and didn't bother to ask for the refund when I checked out. Now if a thousand people make that mistake it becomes another profit point. Other than that inconvenience, it was fine. Nickel and diming should be beneath a good organization.

We accidentally asked for a smoking room, as i see another reviewer did as well. Likewise, as we were staying several days we could not move to another room for the entire visit, so stayed in the smoking room. The furniture was well scared, with fingernail polish and grey stuff across the coffee table. One of the two drawers did not fit, so was unusable. The bed was fine and after the stench at the room's doorway, we couldn't smell the smoke. Breakfast was satisfying, unless one waited to eat ... Read more

The last time I stayed at this location was 3 years ago, and came away with a favorable rating. This visit I witnessed a decline overall in the location and a couple of things. The room and desk staff were good. The pool was declining in its operation each day I was there. Each day saw the water getting progressively worse: more cloudy to the point that the day I departed... the bottom of the pool could no longer be seen (murky). Definitely did not want to get in that water. The staff caring ... Read more

I had the opportunity to hear on several occasions when someone was checking out and lodged complaints about various things he was very indifferent. The receptionist was very nice though the computers were not working well so it took a bit to get checked in. I was shocked there was no elevator and we had to haul our stuff upstairs. The hallways stunk of cigarette smoke. The room was clean and nice, but for what we got, it was over priced. Probably will not stay there again.

I have stayed in a lot of motels and this was one of the dirtiest I have seen. Stains all over bed skirt, terrible musty-moldy smell. We were to stay two nights but checked out and moved to another motel for same price that was super clean. They should be ashamed of the breakfast buffet. Costco muffins cut in quarters - really? Garbage dumped outside our window and a used drug needle out by parking lot in the morning we were leaving.

Just an okay property. The front desk gal was very nice and very helpful although check-in was a bit slow. Room was adequate but very tired looking and dated. Loose toilet seat in the bathroom and questionable spots on the shower curtain. Was surprised to find NO bedding for the pullout sofa bed. Slow wi-fi. Breakfast was just so-so. Average room with evidence of damage here and there. I was put into an ADA room, which was confusing, because there was a normal bathtub/shower with a hose extension on the showerhead, and a seat that was not in the shower. This was an adjoined room, so you can hear the TV from the room next door. Not very soundproof, so I ran the fan/AC the whole time in order to sleep. Employees were kind and helpful.

The place was relatively clean and orderly. It was also within walking distance of where we wanted to be. One of our nights there our floor began vibrating. We called the front desk and said they'd look into it. A few minutes later the vibrations stopped. That's the only incident we had. The breakfast could use a few more options. Waffles, oatmeal, cereal is the standard. More than one brand of yogurt and two options for fresh fruit would be helpful.

They also have a spa and laundry service which is a great convenience for the tired traveler. They are close to Gresham so if you are looking to be close to Portland they are a bit far, a bus is about a 30 minute ride and a cab is expensive if going into Portland.
