With the Shilo chain you never know what you're going to find, sometimes they are above average, sometimes not. Grants Pass Shilo sounded good on their website, but what I found did not match up to their interpretation. I was only staying one night as I passed through or I would have changed properties. It was musty smelling in the hallway and the room needed painting, generally redone. I didn't explore any amenities so I can't comment on those. If staying in Grants Pass, I think you can d... My son and I stopped here on the way back to Portland. The room was good sized and they let us check in early which was great. Staff was freindly. TV in the room was way old which was disapointing because we wanted to watch March Madness. Could barely see the game. Lots of resturaunts within walking distance including a black bear diner next door. Breakfast was pretty standard for a continental breakfast. Everything was neat and clean. Place is outdated with old TV's and you get a meta... Read more

Price on Booking.com was good for a quick overnight stay on our way to California. However, people hanging out in the parking lot, young lady with a pit bull hanging outside of the door and said she didn't have a key; waiting for her boyfriend. Stayed at other Shilo Inns before and the feeling was little more secure. Next time in Grants Pass will check out other options. The room was clean, linens looked fine.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We aren't fans of having to walk all our stuff through the hallways when we are only staying for a night but we sucked it up. The hallways smelled like stale smoke which was a big turn off, but once inside our room we couldn't smell it. Clean and comfortable.

Looking for curb appeal as your benchmark...that's often all you get. Here the staff takes a pride in work and upkeep. Variety of guests are taken care of based on need, without interruption. Anjelyka and Victoria at check in, Vance for maintenance--and all else are standouts. Hallway carpets have been cleaned, with rooms cleaned and ready for busy season. A Shilo sleeper that doesn't get needed or replacement items warrants a call or click to corporate office. Staff works first rate wit... Read more

Wow.....the room picture that pops up of this place on trip advisor looked nothing like the rooms we stayed in....nothing! Our group rented a number of rooms for one night. While the price was reasonable, that was about the limit of my positive comments. If your vehicle is much bigger than a compact car, the parking lot is an absolute bugger to get throughâ?¦..so naturally, it was quite a chore maneuvering around the passenger vans we were in. Entering the hotel, I had to giggle. This is th... Read more

The motel it's self is one of the older shilo's but the staff were excellent. They were friendly and we're able to accommodate us with a great price. If you don't mind firm beds and a few channels or a fridge it's the hotel for you.

I booked this hotel before reading reviews, then was tempted to cancel. Glad I didn't, this hotel is old, but still in very good condition. Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, shower was amazing, pool was clean and very nice. Didn't use the sauna, so have no opinion on it. TV is an older one, but still had plenty of channels to choose from including free Showtime. WiFi is quick and free. Breakfast area is small, but they do offer frozen breakfast burritos, yogurt, muffins, hard-boi... Read more

Check in was fine, the girl was very friendly. She asked if we wanted to be on the first or second floor. We opted for the second. In hindsight, we should have gone with the first. She gave us 2 old school keys and a map of the hotel with instructions to go into a particular door. We parked near the door and hauled our suitcases and back packs in. Up a flight of stairs. Down another. Up another. (Very confusing because there are only 2 floors.) Down 3 different dark hallways. It was remini... Read more

This is an older property. The rooms have real keys. They need to modernize the rooms. Our remote control did not work. The rooms on the second floor are not handicap accessible. If you have mobility issues make sure to inform them when making reservations. The pool area is tiny but the breakfast was good. The hotel is a good location directly off the highway. Driving into town for dinner was easy.

This is a good hotel, not feel old at all. Good location, friendly staffs, big and very clean room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, fast Wi-Fi. We drive from Seattle to bay area, stop one night here. Certainly will come back again.

This was an average hotel which was located very far outside of Grants Pass. The room was fine. It did advertise a fridge in the room which was not there. The staff were helpful. Its was fine for one night

The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, the water hot, and staff is friendly. However, my room was not vacuumed or dusted, and the bed was not changed while I was here. This may not have been an issue, but I travel with a small service dog, and the bed obviously needed changing. Very disappointing. The coffee and creamer was not even replemished.

It was clean and nice staff. Just not a top rating worthy place to stay. The bathroom was much nicer than the other motel we slept at initially and the room had a nice bed. The sheets were clean and overall a "cute" room. We just wished that there weren't so many weed plantations/growers in town for the summer grow season so we could stay at a nicer resort for a decent price. Everything was sold out...
