Even during remodeling, the hotel staff was friendly and patient. While the space was smallish, it was very well laid out and fine for a one night stay. Our double room actually had a separate small room for one of the two beds, which made the room more like a tiny suite and gave some nice added privacy. The decor was much nicer than one finds in a hotel in this price range- a fluffy brocade comforter and coordinating curtains. Matching red microwave and fridge were super cute and worked well. E... The motel's front office is under construction, so at first it looks a little disheveled. But after checking in we were pleased with the cleanliness and appearance of the room. It was a good value for a stopover on the way to the Oregon Coast.

Pleasant stay, friendly owners, older but very clean. Cost effective and it lived up to the very positive reviews that brought us here. Conveniently located! This place definitely met our needs on our fly fishing/golf adventure. Cool layout for two queen beds in two separate rooms. You won't find that at the chain places.

We needed a place to stay in Bend for a couple nights but were on a tight budget. We chose the Holiday Motel because of price and the good reviews. They were doing some remodeling but it did not effect us.. We got a room with two club chairs a small table and a king bed. The room was decent but small and the decoration was a little over the top. The door to the bathroom was small and somewhat difficult to pass through but the shower was decent, the bed very comfortable. The price was great... Read more

Clean room. Good bed. Am near the front so there is some road noise. Wasn't smart enough to ask for a room in the back. But needed 2 queen beds and got a 2 room "suite". Nice retro feel, better than all the modern "cookie cutter" interstate sterile rooms. Would stay again.

This is an older motel in a downtrodden area of Bend that is undergoing a complete renovation. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are comfortable and nicely appointed in a Indian motif. They offer all of the amenities (A/C with remote: flat screen TV with comprehensive channel line-up; king size beds; excellent sound insulation; refrigerator-freezer running and cold when I arrived; etc.). My only complaint with the rooms was: no outlets to plug chargers into (I had to disconnect a lam... Read more

Good value for the money. It's an older facility with smaller rooms, but very well kept up and maintained. Close to the interesting areas of Bend, and easy to get to the Deschutes River and Deschutes National Forest.

A great find! Did a bunch of research on this place. It was between Holiday Motel and another place down the way and I must say, I'm glad I went with Holiday Motel. After hours of travel on the road all I wanted was a comfortable bed and descent shower and this place had both! The man in the "make shift" office gave us a nice great room with a king bed (SUPER COMFORTABLE!) The room itself was cozy and very clean, the decor had a retro but more modern feel. The place is currently doing some remo... Read more

First this is NOT a Holiday Inn!! Typical 1959's motel. Parking is limited. Don't try to park an RV here. Rooms compact and clean. Ask for a room away from the highway and hope the folks in the room next to you don't turn up their TV or talk loud!! Bring ear plugs. But for about $60 the price was great for one night.

This property is located close to the Old Mill District of Bend and our room #28 was clean, large with a very comfortable bed, nicely furnished with microwave, fridge, flat screen TV, desk and chair. The bathroom was also nicely appointed and the shower had plenty of hot water. For the price paid this hotel was a great value.

After spending the previous night at the Redmond Motel 6 (never again), we book a room at the Holiday motel having read the rating on Tripadvisor. The motel is undergoing an office re-build but that did not affect any rooms and since we were there on a weekend, no noise issues at all. We drove onto the property, left the truck running and went to check in. There was another couple in front of me checking in so I waited until my turn to check in. As I was transacting business, the lady that... Read more

Love this little hotel. When I knew we would be back, I immediately booked the same hotel, for the entire 4th of July weekend! The people are extremely nice and the rooms are all decorated differently. The each have a little fridge with a freezer and a microwave. The price is affordable and it is conveniently located near downtown. We rode our bikes almost every night we stayed.

Don't be turned off by the roadside nature of this 50's looking motel. Our room and bathroom were immaculate, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and having a refrigerator in the room was convenient for my "need to be refrigerated" medicine. Given much more expensive hotel options in Bend, we gladly paid half the price for our room. Free wifi!! If you're looking for nice hotel amenities and a fancy lobby, this isn't the place for you. We stayed at the Holiday Motel after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. We were looking for a clean comfortable room for one night. While the decor was a little outdated and mismatched we found it to be clean. The owner was working out of a motel room while the office was being remodeled. He was very friendly and nice. The rate was very affordable.

My daughter and I stayed in a nicely decorated room towards the back, away from the road. Everything was great. Comfortable king-sized bed, beautiful bed linens, extra touches like crystal water glasses (not plastic cups), side tables with floral arrangements, mirrors and in general those little extras that give you the feel of a hotel with the added convenience of having your car parked right outside your door. Highly recommend the king room. Also the staff were great. In particular the couple ... Read more

I checked the customer reviews/stars/ratings on several booking sites and choose this little gem for a night. I was very happy with my stay. Since it was just me I only needed one bed. The room was small but cute and I only needed it for an evenings rest and it was perfect. The thing I loved the most was that they used a scented fabric softener for their linens (for ... Read more

I booked this motel since the name brands were all too high. On arrival they were finishing with the room. It was very clean (smelled clean). Not a large place but roomy enough. Room had a twin bed and a queen. A flat screen tv and a desk with 3 drawers that were to be used as a dresser. The A/C were window units which worked well. The bed seemed a little hard but was acceptable. Also the room had a microwave and a fridge, which definitely was a plus.

At the end of a long trip, our car broke down and we needed to make same day reservations in Bend. This was a shot in the dark choice based entirely on reasonable pricing. We were amazed to find the rooms were top notch and the night clerk incredibly accommodating, polite and professional. This was the only decently priced inn in a tourist town full of grossly overpriced hotels, and for the most part I can't complain. It was $77 with tax for a Monday night. It is less than 5 minute drive and about a 15-20 minute walk to Old Town, and longer to downtown, and the only places to eat within walking distance are a breakfast/lunch restaurant and a taco place. It is a great deal, but they try to put a lot in a small room so you end up stumbling on things. If you just need a place to sleep it is great. We researched several sites and saw that the Holiday Motel was generally rated at 4 or above. I think that that is too high a rating. The room that we had was small by American standards and the bathroom was dated in its fixtures. There was limited storage space since the alcove that likely was originally a closet had been converted to house a delightful bright red refrigerator/freezer and matching bright red microwave. Not too expensive, clean, nice management, free wifi that works, and the bed was pretty comfortable. I think some renovations were done, the bathroom (see pictures) was great. Holiday Motel is easy to find on US-97 BR in Bend. There is construction underway to provide a new office but no activity on the day I was there. The rooms are modest in size but not cramped and are beautifully appointed with modern fixtures and furnishings, though there is no hiding the fact that this is still a 1950's motel at its architectural core. Outdated motel. Not recommended even for an overnight stay. On top of this overall statement, we simply could not sleep at night! Here are the facts: Our reservation explicitly said "two queen beds", with the internet picture showing two beds together in a large room. Three of us overnighted at the Holiday Motel. We stayed in the suite. I had two BR's (3 beds), a large kitchen, bath, and living room. It was spotless, quiet, clean and well-appointed, especially considering a) the price, and b) the rather meh outside appearance of the hotel.
