Once again another great stay at The Entrada Lodge which is located on the way up to Mt Bachelor in a nice pine tree setting. Rates are very reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. Rooms are very clean and hot tub is great and family friendly. Looking forward to spring skiing and our family stay at the Entrada Lodge.

We chose the Entrada Lodge because it was so close to Mount Bachelor. Perfect location for those looking to do a snowboard/ski trip. It was also very close to town (Bend). The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about Bachelor and Bend. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee, muffins, oatmeal and fruit every morning before heading up to the mountain and the hot tub every evening after snowboarding all day. Just a quick 5-10 minute drive to great local brewies and restaurants. I would recommen... Read more

I've been staying at the Entrada for years. Whether I'm by myself or with family, the rooms are always neat, inexpensive, and the staff very accommodating. There are biking/hiking trails right outside your door and Mt. Bachelor a short drive up the road.

I was happy with my stay in town in Bend in Mid april for a work trip at another hotel. My work was on mt Bachelor and I kept passing the Entrada lodge situated out of town and on the road the mt Bachelor. I stopped in and decided to give it a try mid week in mid april (their off season). It was QUIET.. and so nice to escape the rat race ! only one other party was at the large facility. Contrary to other reports, my room did not smell and there were not other parties right next door. It wa... Read more

In a very discombobulated state of mind late in the evening we checked into the Entrada. I was so exhausted from my weekend and a 4.5 hour drive to boot that I was happy to see well kept rooms, very clean & neat with the basic amenities needed. A hot shower, my head laid to rest with the man I love and off to sleep we went. Upon waking up in the morning, we only had one phone charger. So, where do you think I left it? Plugged right into the wall. I called and Doug answered, he was lovely, said ... Read more

Great location is the only positive mention of this review. The well advertised SPA was not working on both days of our stay. "Pump broke", we were told, "they will come fix it hopefully by Monday"... The free Wi-Fi was so slow, that mere checking email took over a minute... The TV cable programs were grainy... We gave up calling the reception for we started being little paranoid, that all the problems were in our imagination... or we are just too picky.... Save your $100 and search for other h... Read more

If your tastes lean towards less formulaic human boxes the chains offer, then this is the place should you ever have the good luck visiting Bend. The infrastructure shows age but is still lovely, clean, quiet with beauty all around. The staff is superb too, kind, accommodating, and even willing to help after hours (I arrived after a long day of travel, with front desk closed, yet Brandon happened to be cleaning and closing and happily helped). Sitting just a few miles from sublime beauty, mo... Read more

If you are looking for a pet friendly stopover in bend this one fits the bill. Even though it is a bit tired the rooms were nice and clean but the best part was the proximity to the 40 acre trail...the dogs loved it! Don't bother with the "breakfast"...

Stayed 3 nights and 2 days. Chose this place due to location and reviews from trip advisor. We were pleased with location and how it is nestled into the tall pines. Friendly staff and the hot tub was great. Cable good. Beds comfortable and clean. Negatives were slow wifi if at all. And our bathtub had not been cleaned very good. I had to do my own cleaning. Other than that stay was fine.

Good place to stay when visiting Lava Natl Monument and you have pets. Rooms were spacious. We had microwave & fridge in our rooms. Coffee & tea was available in the lobby. Muffins at breakfast were good. Nice - Showers had shampoo & soap dispensers instead of those little bars & jars of bath things. Kids & grandkids liked the hot tub. Nice outdoor area for pets.

This place is still pretty nice and affordable, don't get me wrong. But we had a few hiccups this time. They had our reservation wrong - 1 bed when we needed 2. They fixed it but that meant we were without a microwave and refrig. Not a big deal but we had come prepared for that. Don't know if this was their fault or but still kind of frustrating. And the newly opened rooms at the back of the property are stinky. They keep those rooms shut over the winter and they get a musty sme... Read more

The name may sound fancy, but it's really just a rather dated, simple motel, convenient to head up to Mt. Bachelor. I only stayed because my dad had a mix-up with his reservation at nearby Seventh Mountain Resort (only one bedroom, not two) and needed to find something nearby, available, and affordable for me. The place got the job done, but it wouldn't be my first choice in the future. I would have rather stayed closer in town at a more updated and comfortable place, but location and price wa... Read more

they are so cheap you get recycled bags in the waste baskets, no body soap, watch your bill when you check out, they jack it up. this one is going down fast. no breakfast, old musty rooms. dog friendly whether you like it or not, this property is going down fast, and when you check it online it is top dollar and that is garbage, I think the manager goes out to clean the rooms. good luck, roll the dice on this cesspool.

I like this casual hotel. The rooms are clean,& cool in summer. Good for bike riding, across from trail head that accesses single tracks. On a hot day, after riding, or buzzing in the Town of Bend, it's nice to head on the outskirts of town, surrounded by huge ponderosa pines. This hotel; off the main drag, GREAT swimming pool & hot tub surrounded by tall pines I like is hotel and will definitely return. Although pets are allowed, I never heard barking dogs. If you don't need all the frills of a... Read more

We stayed one night. I was thankful for the pool and the fact that while in our room we couldn't hear the people on each side of us. This was our second time using this hotel as we were in a pinch and all surrounding hotels had jacked up their prices for the wknd. We paid about fifty more than we did in June. The rooms are older, have air conditioning but NO fridge. No microwave. When you're traveling those things can be money savers for drinks and leftovers. The saving factors for this ... Read more

The Entrada has a great location if you want quick access to the outdoor activities on Century Drive. The Deschutes River Trail and Phil's network can even be accessed from the hotel itself. It's a nice quiet location, that has never been busy when I've stayed there. Downsides are the location requires driving back into town for food, and rooms have definitely gotten dated. Prices have also crept up to where the datedness used to be an acceptable trade off for the price, but now the price is... Read more

I booked a room here a few hours before I arrived during the peak summer season in Bend. So, there were few other options. But, was happy with what I found with Entrada -- it was available, not terribly expense, and was close to where I needed to be (SW side of town). Interior was dated and a lot of the furniture and really, the room in general, was worn down, but they've done a good job with what they have. I was only in Bend for the night so I didn't care where I stayed. I was in the room... Read more

Old hotel with potential, but desperately needs updates and terrible housekeeping! We came back after our first day to an unmade bed, garbage not taken out and no coffee left. Front desk was kind when we told them but at 160 a night, such a let down. They advertise a gorgeous big jacuzzi tub but they don't even have enough hot water to cover your body in the tub.the bed was miserably uncomfortable too Feeling ripped off!

We had a great stay. Retro style one level property with pool and hot tub. Colorful chairs around pool made very inviting. Rooms were clean and quiet. Great access to the mountain and high lakes for hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding. Modest accomodations, but perfect for what we needed.

Ross was amazing and very helpful. He couldn't do enough for us and went out of his way for us (even bringing us towels out to the pool). If you are after a very chilled place right on the forest then this is the place for you. Thanks heaps.

Entrada Lodge is a bit tired but found it clean, comfortable, and reasonable for Bend. Couple miles from town but easy access to hiking and mountain biking. Would stay here again. And they didn't toss the book I accidentally left there.

The one night stay was too short. This is a beautiful property close to the attractions in Bend, Mt. Bachelor, and the Cascade lakes. There is a friendly and knowledge staff. The rooms were very nice. I did find the mattered a little hard for my liking. A continental breakfast is offered in the morning. A good stay and we will return.

Years ago, when the place was new, I used to stay here while skiing at nearby Mt. Bachelor. The place was terrific! Now, the lady is sagging a bit. Vinyl wallpaper coming apart at the seams. A thick layer of moss on the roof. Perhaps they are getting ready to demolish it and build new. But it's not as much fun as it used to be. And the breakfast sucks.

Have you ever been the only people in a multi-room motel? It's downright creepy. Although the folks running the place were very ice, it's really funky. And not in a good way. It smells musty and the rooms are not retro, they haven't been updated in 20 years. The best thing about the place is that it was quiet. Like a grave.

My wife and I travel frequently and generally choose good to upscale accommodations. We visited Bend in the summer of 2016 for a Master's cycling race and chose this motel at the last minute, expecting adequate quality because of the combination of high price (roughly $200 per night including tax) and an interesting name. I have waited three months before writing this review in order to let time soothe my unpleasant memories of my stay. Bend is wonderful, but the ambiance and amenities of B... Read more
