Since there is construction the directions to get there were wrong. I wish I would have been informed ahead. I believe this used to be the old courthouse. There was a lot of space in our room. Not so great of a view because of all of the construction. Once you do make it to the hotel, you depend on signs to get to the right floor to check in. That was a bit odd. Staff were nice but we're not too good on directions. I did mention this and it was addressed. I like the location once I fo... Read more

We recently traveled to Tulsa for a one night stay, we live in Oklahoma City. The Aloft Hotel Downtown was awesome. Very friendly staff, great location, right by the BOK Center. The room was clean, the view was beautiful! The construction around the hotel was a little annoying, trying to find the actual entrance was challenging, but the niceness of the hotel and the great staff made up for it! I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Great location to Downtown activities!

Lots of construction all around and the hotel's location atop a parking deck makes it difficult to find this hotel. Once in, you must search a bit to find the front desk (kiosk) located up one floor. Check in was effortless and everyone was very nice. Our room was on the 8th floor with a nice view of the BOK. Rooms are modern looking with an all glass shower and bowl sink. Only complaint is that there were not enough towels, had to call down for more each day. The bed and pillows are extremely ... Read more

One of my favorite hotels to visit. The staff are always nice, and the hotel is in a great location. The one recommendation I would have is to have get the little plastic bumpers other Alofts have for their shower doors.

Oh, where to start. I come into my room, there's urine on the toilet seat, no toilet paper. I wasn't feeling well so I needed the restroom immediately. Called down to the front desk and they brought me up toilet paper. I cleaned the urine myself. I crawled into bed at 8:00pm due to not feeling well. Woke up the next morning and found blood on the comforter. No, it wasn't from me. it was near the top like maybe a nose bleed. I write a note to housekeeping saying "please change!". Left f... We had no problem finding the hotel, as others have stated in previous reviews. The name of the hotel is in huge letters up on the side, you can't really miss it. It was not busy, so there was plenty of parking available. After parking, you enter the hotel at street level. When you enter the hotel there is a seating area and a desk right there. This is not the registration desk. To get there, you go up the Plaza level. There you find registration, a shop area with snacks and drinks, a bar... Read more

Well, definitely a different hotel experience. I can appreciate what they are trying to market. They are going for a different hotel experience. They do that well. The "funky" title comes from strange things like a large obelisk at the foot of the bed with a tv mounted on it. Doing this blocked the view of the city. I travel a lot and have never seen that before. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows...full pillows and not those worthless mini feather pillows that many other hot... Read more

This hotel is OK, nice clean rooms but in my room the TV didn't work and the AC went out. Fortunately I was able to fix the AC by jiggling the battery in the thermostat. The location to the BOK cant be beat. The BOC is out the backdoor and across the parking lot to enter the backdoor/side door of the BOC.

We attended a concert at BOK, and chose the Aloft Hotel because it is hot in June, and the hotels location is ideal. The hotel was nice, our room was clean, and we enjoyed a drink at the bar after the concert. It was also close to a lovely restaurant and cupcake place. I would stay at the Aloft again if I attend a concert.

Started off w a challenge because of parking. Finally got it and the staff was helpful and friendly. Typical nice aloft product although linens were embarrassingly old and worn. Easy fix if they choose. Air conditioning very challenged although it's hot the system Is inferior. Bar was nice and staff good as well. Poor selection of spirits. Overall decent value

Stayed here in May of this year and could not wait to get back...the beds in the Aloft chain are so amazing we went and bought one ourselves.. 1st off, the building is an eclectic old government building converted so there's a bit of history there. .2nd, very trendy, modern and chic.. but the beds, my God the beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in...staff at the hotel is very nice and helpful, the place is clean and well maintained..all aside from the parking garage being renovate... Came into Tulsa Tuesday-Friday for a work trip. Wednesday morning I came downstairs at 6am. I hate all in room coffee makers at hotels and I was looking forward to a hot cup of coffee. Both large coffee dispensers were completely empty. I asked the man working the check-in desk behind me if there was fresh coffee and his response was "the girl that makes it hasn't come in yet" I am not one to make a big deal of things so I let it go. This hotel is in a great location for the convention center and BOK. Hotel staff tried hard to deal with construction related issues and other items. First the Hotel is clean, well ran and try hard to please the guest. The highs are the great rooms, location and design of the hotel. The Lows are: The swimming/patio area has declined somewhat. I have stayed here a few times a year for the past few years. The rooms are showing their age, but the front desk is always friendly and the rooms are always clean. Covered self parking is also a huge plus for this hotel. I'm usually assigned the same room every time, and it's usually clean. This time, there were brown spots (food, I hope) on the wall of the common area. Gross but avoidable. Next to the bed, there was a large smudge of dried booger and mucus on the wall. We stayed here for my daughter's gymnastics meet which was next door at the Cox Business Center. Everything was clean and modern. We had a corner suite with fabulous views. The location was great for events at the Cox Business Center and a walk in downtown Tulsa. My kids loved it and the fitness room was great too. We did not use the pool. It is located next to a bar and in the evenings it was more adults than children. We would stay again.

My wife and I stayed here overnight on our Route 66 travels. If you're driving then finding the car park entrance can be a challenge. However, this place was amazing for an Aloft. Our room was enormous - a lovely bay window lounge, a very comfortable queen bed and all the usual amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities, safe and an in-room fridge. WiFi was free and reception very good. There is no dining room however a basic breakfast of cereals, breads, juice tea and coffee is available in... Read more

I enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I had an awful time trying to park and find the front desk, and guests have to pay for parking. I really enjoyed my room and the location is great. My bed was very comfortable. My advice would be to make sure you have enough regular coffee(not decaf) when you get into your room. I would recommend this hotel for the location and comfortable beds!

I stayed here on points. Checking was easy. They room is huge and built with a lot of thick concrete which made it quiet. The look is very similar to other Aloft's such as the one in Kansas I was a little disappointed by the $10 a day to park. Pool is small but refreshing. Research dining options before you go as there is not a lot in the immediate area.

We absolutely love this hotel! Location was perfect. We attended an event at the BOK center and it was a quick, safe walk. The hotel was clean, and modern. Room was beautiful with a lot of thoughtful decor and amenities. Staff was very accommodating and thoughtful. Be prepared for $10 parking per day but well worth it since we saw up to $30 next to hotel since there was an event.

This was our second stay at an Aloft and this experience was way better. While the room layout is pretty much the same, this Aloft felt cleaner and certainly smelled better than the other. The exterior of the building is kinda cold, formerly a government office building and the inside is modern and sleek. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All Alofts are set up the same way so if you have stayed in one you know what to expect for them all. This site is no exception. Our corner queen room was large for Aloft standards, the room was a bit worn out with scratches on the walls and the bed linens were mismatched and worn out. Aloft tends to not have the best quality bed linens. Our comforter ripped and just uncomfortable. If you don't mind the small stuff this is a good mid-range budget option. Staff here are also friendly and helpful.

We had the chance to stay at aLoft Tulsa Downtown on our way back east on our 18 day road trip. The hotel is in Tulsa's former city hall, making it similar to the aLoft Orlando, in that the big office building floor plates make for big and unique rooms. As SPG Platinum members we were upgraded to a corner room. Wow! The pool, WXYZ bar and staff were all great. Checking in was comical because it's like a scavenger hunt. Walking to our room on our floor I didn't know what to expect because the look was "retro" and with a bit of 70's but when we walked into the room it had touches of "vintage-ness" spread across a futuristic modern suite. It was super clean, very nice complimentary shampoo & body wash in the shower, beds were comfortable and it was a perfect stay for going to a concert at the BOK. I will stay here again!

I got an amazing rate on this room so I can't really complain, but to be honest I'm surprised by the glowing reviews. I don't know how long this location has been around but I found this Aloft to feel cold and a lot older than other Alofts I've stayed in. Maybe it's because it seems to be converted from a big cement government type building? It wasn't dirty, but it did feel a little run down. It's also in a weird area and hard to find. My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions both for business and work events. We have had really positive experiences all but one time. I like the urban feel of this hotel. If you are looking for something "fancy" this Aloft is not necessarily that. Rooms, while modern looking, are fairly basic and no frills. This is a neat aloft to visit since it was a "rehab" hotel. They bought the old Tulsa city hall and renovated it for the hotel. That means it does vary some from the typical aloft layout such as the check in being at the back of the hotel from the parking garage and the bar being across a walkway. Not a problem, just unique and adds to the character of the hotel. It is next to the convention center and in a good location in downtown Tulsa. Tulsa was pretty sold out so ended up at Aloft. Finding hotel wasn't bad but figuring out parking and check-in was just bizarre. You end up by some burger place. Just finishing up a one night stay at the Aloft in Tulsa. Great hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Quirky, very modern design. Comfortable room. Free coffee which was great in the morning. Kind of an odd location and tricky to find and to get to. But very convenient if you have business downtown. Super TV.
