Typical Aloft but we were on a low floor that was dog friendly. The hotel was pretty and very modern but floor was really smoky and did not smell great. While I appreciate dog friendly status there was another dog on our floor barking excessively so we couldn't leave ours because he wold start up when normally he is very quiet. Food was not great. Room was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Overall ok stay but could have been better.

We are out of towers that ALWAYS STAY at Aloft Downtown for dining and concert events. May 2016 and August 2016 and now December 2016....each time welcomed by friendly checkin staff, informative shuttle drivers and fun bar staff. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We love the beds and pillows and sleep so well here, always enjoy our stay at the Aloft!

We were in town for the Cheer Competition at the Cox Convention Center. We booked our rooms the first part of August 2016. The dates were December 2-4... I booked 2 beds in the room for my son and I. I arrived early to get checked in and they put us in a single bed room. I asked to be switched and they said no rooms left. Sorry... very rude! The girl that was at the front desk was rude to everyone it seemed like. She was very short on answers and her favorite word was NO SORRY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ... Read more

Hard to find. Staff not pleasant. Rooms not up to par compared to other classy hotels. Parking is terrible. Staff not helpful or friendly. Bar was to be open but was closed. Downtown Tulsa was desolate. Had a hard time finding a place to eat.

Hotel is in a great location, just between Cox Business Center and BOK Center. Very short walking distance to both. Hotel was dirty which was a main turn off. No restaurant, small breakfast options and small snack bar which made it difficult for me as I had my daughter and wasn't willing to venture out very far.

As the manager who responds to the reviews has said over and over and over in responses, this used to be the Tulsa City Hall. It's on the National Register of Historic Places according to the airport shuttle driver. It's very, very odd walking in and having the feeling of staying in an office building instead of a hotel. Even the elevators remind you of riding in a courthouse or government building elevator. The room, although large with high ceilings, still gave me the impression that I was... Read more

We enjoyed a wonderful date night at Aloft downtown Tulsa. We had tickets to Billy Joel in concert at the BOK, so we booked a room at Aloft. Our room had a view of Tulsa and we could walk to many restaurants and bars or enjoy those in the hotel. The staff was quite friendly and there were many amenities. The Art Deco decor was an added touch we appreciated (fans of Mad Men). We dined steps away from the entrance and enjoyed drinks in the hotel bar. We walked just one block to get to the conce... A group of us booked a suite (809) at the Aloft due to it being extremely close to the BOK center for a concert. Never had stayed in one, but I can see that this might be a hit or miss given the design of the hotel. it is a modern feel in an old concrete building. Our suite had huge windows, but I could see a regular room might feel rather basic with concrete walls. Pros: great location especially for BOK center, reasonable rates, comfortable beds, good service, great amount of room in suite... Read more

Stayed here for one night. Price was very high but I got what they said was a suite so I thought it would be great. Boy was I mistaken. I knew it was going to be a problem when I discovered the check in area was in a tiny corner with a messy round desk covered in papers and mints for sale. It reminded me of a bad convenience store check out - not a hotel. Our " suite" was a typical hotel room. But the entrance was a weird cell like room with concrete walls with holes in them, a table and 2 desk ... Read more

In town to see Billy Joel and this was the only downtown hotel with an available room. Our room smelled like mold. Bare concrete walls with holes. Didn't look urban, just looked like a wall in a war zone. Extremely high priced for what we were charged. No tub, although we had what the front desk called a "suite". Extra charge for breakfast and parking, which is ridiculous for what you pay. The only high point was that the staff were very pleasant. We didn't bother complaining about the h... Read more
