When Sir Paul McCartney traveled Rt 66, he chose the Skirvin of all the accomodations in Oklahoma City. The place is ultramodern but retains the past so well since it is a very historic building. When we departed, the Dave Matthews Band pulled up in five Prevost coaches even though they weren't scheduled to perform for a few more days. The Sunday Brunch with guitar phenom Edgar Cruz performing was off the hook. Our last time at brunch, William Shatner and family were eating undisturbed, the Ski... Read more

We had to attend a convention Friday afternoon and then all day Saturday. Several of the events were in meeting rooms and the ball room at the Skirvin, so we booked a room there. Everything was great. The meeting rooms and ballroom were very nice. The Skirvin is a remodeled, historical hotel so there are gorgeous features all through the building. The guest rooms are spacious and pleasant. The price was competitive for the area. It's in easy walking distance to Bricktown, and to Midtown, alth... Read more

Among the traffic of the downtown busy street and the hustle and bustle of foot traffic, unassuming luxury awaits in this old grand hotel with twelve floors. Pulling into the circle drive, we were fortunate to pull in to a parking meter spot. On the weekends the meter is free. If you are lucky enough this adds a lot of convenience to your stay. Valet parking is available for a fee. Walking into the Skirvin Hilton through the round rotating door adds to the feel of something special on the other ... Read more

Love this hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. The fitness center at the hotel is one of the best that I've experienced. All equipment is current and there are plenty of options. In addition there is plenty of space including a large area for weight training and a separate area for stretching. In addition, the bell service was very quick to gather my car from valet parking.

We spent two nights at this hotel and were completely comfortable. We like to visit hotels on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Skirvin was quite nice. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was not inexpensive, but was excellent. Food quality was good, freshly prepared even at the buffet. Our waitstaff was outstanding, very friendly, and remembered us from the first day.

Didn't stay in the hotel just met a friend there for drinks but I can tell you that the staff I come into contact with were polite and ready to help. The waitress at the bar was always there but not annoying. Our drinks came out fast and good which is a combination that is hard to find so high fives to the bartender.

Outstanding hotel. Very GRAND entrance way. Great Valet parking staff. Friendly front desk associates. Restaurant was nice, but the food was so so, but the staff was excellent. It is in the city's center, but easily accessible to the highway. I love the 1200 o'clock checkout. I was able to go run my race and have plenty of time to come back shower and change before check out. It is very clean, and well kept. There was some construction but it was well hidden and not noisy.

Excellent hotel, beautiful facility with classic architecture. Conference facilities were very good, and the catering staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay. Downtown location is close to many restaurant/entertainment options. A short walk to the Murrah building Memorial - definitely a must. But skip the hotel bar, much better values in local establishments.

This is a very unique hotel. It is very clean and the staff was very courteous. The only available parking is in a parking garage, which is kind of a pain. They do offer valet parking. It was kind of pricey. We spent $20 on two drinks at the bar, and $50 on room service that we shared. It was a nice experience, but I don't think I would choose to stay at this hotel again.

Modern amenities, friendly staff and historic charm. Great location in downtown walking distance to great restaurants, things to do and historic sites. The only issue - housekeeping needs some significant overhaul - poorly cleaned room, failed to restock consumables, very noisy and intrusive. Their service is not aligned with the overall hotel's objectives.
