Lobby work was inconvenient but rooms were good and staff was great. Quite street was nice. It would have been nice to know ahead of time the breakfast discount option at check in. Or give the discount anytime during the stay.

Everything was good and clean. Great front desk staff on the midnight shift. We picked this location because of price and location. Completely shocked when they were found out they charged for breakfast. $11 for the buffet. We left hungry!

Location was great, close to the airport, shopping, expressway. Walking distance to many restaurants. Hotel was very clean and the staff all very professional and happy to go the extra mile if need be. The buffet breakfast has a wide variety for everyone. And, was fresh and hot food was hot. Fitness facility has ample equipment for all. And a larger room than most hotels. I for sure would stay here again and would highly recommend.

It's not only the fact this hotel is going through a remodel in the lobby & restaurant area, they have a issue with cleanliness & smell in the rooms. Front desk staff unfriendly and not helpful! All the road construction around this hotel did not help the situation. I will not be staying at this hotel again!

I have stayed at just about every hotel along Meridian Ave, and the Double Tree is by far the best. The staff is friendly; the breakfast is great; and the bar is a lot of fun no matter what day of the week. Also the shuttle driver, Anita, is fantastic! What a great conservationist! Highly recommend the Double Tree if you need a hotel by the airport.

Even with the hotel under renovation the staff made the week there enjoyable. Our van driver Anila did a great job getting us to the airport quickly and safely. The location is within walking distance of a handful of restaurants and bars. I will definitely stay there again.

We booked a room at the last minute on the July 4th holiday weekend just to take an unplanned road trip. The evening front desk guy, Aaron or Adrian, can't remember his name, was really nice, accommodating, and friendly. We booked a handicap room because my husband had a broken leg and we wanted the handicap shower. He made a special upgrade to a handicap suite because they were not overly booked and he was kind and understanding. We really appreciated this. He was also very knowledgeable about ... Read more

Hotel under major lobby/dining area construction. They had a small area set-up for meals but way too many people and too few seats. Food was good but no where to sit and eat. Also - road in front of hotel under major construction. None of this disclosed on web site.

Knowing ahead of time the property was under renovation helped temper our expectations. However, we did not expect to find that the attitude of the front desk staff was apparently also "under renovation". It was clear she was inconvenienced to have to check us in, and as also ill informed of the Hilton app ability to serve as a digital key. Overall an unpleasant check in experience and one that has permanently turned us off to Hilton properties.

My husband & I stayed at Doubletree for one night prior to a morning flight out of OKC. The hotel is currently under construction so we did not patronize the bar or restaurant due to the uninviting atmosphere of tarps & construction. The rooms are nice and modern. The bed and pillows were comfortable. My biggest complaint is the extremely loud air-conditioner in the room. Every time it would turn on or off it would wake us, and we are not light sleepers. The Shuttle service provided is wonderful and convenient with exceptional individuals providing the service. It allowed me to start and end my work days on a pleasant note. This was a fairly nice place. The room was spacious and the staff was friendly for the most part. The room was a little dusty/dirty...housekeeping should just run a vacuum attachment around the edges of the rooms. My only real complaint is that the mattress was horrible...unless you like sleeping on rocks. I was never happier to get home to my bed.

This hotel really delivers on the Hilton Honors experience. All the staff are friendly and outgoing and always wearing a smile. In particular, Anita (shuttle driver) was just the type of warm friendly person that keeps you coming back to the Doubletree time and again. She was an example of what I've found true of all the staff- smiling, ready to help, taking pride in providing great service! It's refreshing.

Two thumbs up for the folks here. The front desk staff is always extra-friendly (thanks to James for his kind words and a smile when I checked in late at night after a long day). The gym is great - very roomy, and dumbbells up to 60 pounds, which is a rarity in most hotel gyms. I believe the lobby is still being renovated, so I can't wait to see the finished product when it's done!

If you like walking into a dust filled lobby with plastic sheeting everywhere, with a bar that consisted of a bare table with booze bottles sitting out, bare tables strewn about and a callous staff, this is your place.
