Clean room and friendly service. Great breakfast. Wish there was more seating in the room. Maybe a couch or more comfortable chairs. The king sized bed was comfortable and the show had plenty of water pressure.

The best part of this experience was the helpful, friendly staff. Good people! They worked quickly to retrieve an item I had forgotten in my room, which was greatly appreciated. The bed could have been better, the shower was squeaky and there was hair (not mine) when I got in. Overall, it was a basic Hampton.

I travel thru two times a month on business. I will only stay in the Hampton. The service overnight and morning were very nice and helpful. The gentleman at night was very informative on local resturants and entertainment.

The room was fine, two comfortable queen beds, single-serve coffee pot and fridge. Air conditioner worked well. Curtains had to stay open, which meant it was really bright all night, however. Problem was at front desk - we had to wait for about 20 minutes in a line of people because desk person was not at desk. He said he was helping someone with a tv, but his not being at the desk caused us to be late to our concert.

Great Stay; we were only there overnight, but had a great stay and the staff were very nice and helpful. I would not hesitate in returning to this Hampton for another such night. The only problem I experienced was in trusting my Garmin to get me to the Hampton, not realizing that there were two Shamrock Lanes in Durant; seems Garmin only knows of the dirt road that ends in a cow pasture!!!!!!

This is my second visit to the Durant Hampton Inn. Pros: location is good, right off the highway and near shopping and dining; wifi is very strong; breakfast has improved quite a bit (the bagel toppers are awesome). The gentleman who was at the front desk the first two nights I was there was very professional and friendly. Cons: dirty, dirty, dirty. The hallway on the second floor is nasty - seriously needs a carpet cleaning or replacement. The corners of the shower were moldy. The furniture... Read more

Nice room and extras for the price. Bed was very comfortable. Casino shuttle was very convenient if not a little confusing to use. Bathrooms look old and dated but clean. Whirlpool jets looked dirty but tub appeared clean. Will stay again

Stay was good except room service came knocking at the door at 8AM and 10AM when check out was at 11AM or noon. Not a good thing when you were up at casino until 5AM. This was definitely what made my trip average.

We took a spur of the moment trip and Durant was halfway to our destination. Made reservations online with no problems. Room was clean and big. Had breakfast the following morning and it was ok. We were getting the last of the eggs and sausage at 9:00 am. Front desk staff at check in and check out were friendly and smiling which is appreciated . Would stay again . Oh... Enjoyed the cookies in the lobby for a late night snack:)

I tell you what this is one of the nicest friendliest staff of people. We had a problem with the room and the fixed it immediately. The rooms are nice and clean have had no problems. I will stay here again. A big plus check out is at noon helps after a long night at casino.

I stay in various Hampton Inns throughout Oklahoma on a weekly basis. I really prefer them over others so I wanted to keep giving this particular Durant Hampton a chance to correct some issues in my two previous stays with them. I was thoroughly disappointed again. The first room I was given was not clean at all. Hair all in the bed and it wasn't even made up. Wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and the shower head had so much mildew and lime scale buildup that I don't know that water would be... Read more

Half the cost of staying at the Choctaw Casino, the quality is the same, plus free breakfast, only problem is shuttle wait could be 30 minutes or more. Pool is small but acceptable. Parking seems to be limited

I stayed here on business. I have stayed at several Hampton Inns throughout the United States. I have always found the staff to be friendly and eager to help. The free breakfast is always hot and great food. I stay with Hampton Inn whether business or family trips because you always get a clean well maintained hotel. I am sold on the Hampton Chain.

This is a nice hotel - nothing fancy, but clean. Not all the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves but the desk clerk was nice and let us put our leftovers in the refrigerator in the breakfast area. I don't like the comforter - too hot for me - but we turned the a/c to 64 and froze us out!

Our king room was spacious and clean. Decent breakfast selection, first time to taste the bagel toppers. Not a new or fancy Hampton Inn, but still a quality stay. Good location for road trip travel and we did drive the 6 or so minutes south to spend a couple of hours at the Choctaw Casino.

We stayed here for several nights, while on a business trip to the area. The facility is older and shows some wear. Overall though, it's clean and fairly well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable and the AC provided welcome relief from the high heat. The comp breakfast was typical Hampton; plentiful and the server kept up with the clientele flow. The Business Center needs a little attention. One computer had no mouse, and the other was behind a door that was constantly propped open, the... Read more

Overall this hotel was nice and clean. There was a hand written post-it note on our headboard letting us know that the sheets and duvet cover had been cleaned for our arrival. We had a Jacuzzi suite right above the pool and could hear voices from below but the pool closed on time and this was an issue with sleeping. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Great staff and nice hotel. It's always a bonus to have breakfast included. We used a meeting room for a family gathering and the staff was very accommodating, allowing us access to the room the evening prior. If we coordinate another family gathering in Durant, this will be our go-to place. The only down side was there were people smoking at the pool, which detracted from the experience.

This facility not up to par with standards one expects from Hilton/Hampton Inn. Room furnishings and fixtures are all builders grade and rooms are in need of updating. Owners may think a dumbing down is acceptable in a small, rural community but their guests are from everywhere. Also, kind of an insult to local community. Staff was outstanding in every way but their courtesy and professionalism cannot totally override substandard breakfast selection and presentation nor the outdated rooms.

Good hotel, especially for the area and price. Will definitely stay here again. Great location near the casino and the free shuttle was definitely a plus. Service and overall stay was good, the complimentary breakfast left a little to be desired but was ok

Check in was slow but adequate. The real problem was the room. It appeared that half the furniture was missing. The entire room was in desperate need of painting. The bathroom was dated and in very poor shape. I would never visit this Hampton inn again.

There was a stain on the carpet when we arrived and cracks in the bathroom floor tile and elevator floor tiles. Our room had no fridge, which was disappointing. Beds were clean and really soft, though. Pool was small and hot tub is not hot, but we had fun. Lots of locals hang out at the pool in the evening.

Our room was not serviced after our first nights stay. The air conditioning was not working properly. The ice machine was out of order. No clean towels so we were given the towels for the swimming pool. There was a parking lot burglary our second night there and we had a big screen tv stolen. The breakfast buffet was less than satisfactory.

The people working at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. However, the room I was in was extremely humid (poor AC), the carpet was warn through to the underpad so that it was sticky, and the bathroom had mold growing on the floor, and something on the shower head...I've attached photos. Also, the walls and doors are paper thin, so you can hear people all the time.

After staying in almost every hotel in Durant, I can conclude that Hampton Inn is the third best hotel in town behind La Quinta and Holiday Inn Express. Check in was quick and painless, but the rooms were so underwhelming. The biggest thing that stood out for me is the lack of a fridge. It's basically a necessity these days. The fitness room was ok. I had to choose between the treadmill that worked but didn't have a working TV or the broken treadmill with the working TV. One of the cleaning ... Read more

Made reservations 2 months in advance for a hot tub suite got there and it wasn't available. They blamed confusion on the Internet bookings. The Internet was down so no free Internet. And the hot tub for the hotel was broke too. Only one elevator of the two worked. So there was always a crowd waiting.

My wife and I were traveling with our grandkids (twins, boy and girl, age 12) and needed to spend the night in Durant, Oklahoma. We travel with them quite a bit and always get two rooms, each with queen beds and have a "boys room" and a "girls room". We almost always stay in Hampton Inns and are usually very pleased ... clean rooms, good beds, helpful staff, acceptable breakfast, etc. and reasonable rates. We have stayed at most of the hotels in the area. The Hampton Inn is the best value. Staff is friendly and the free breakfast and shuttle service makes it even better. I would recommend it to anyone making a trip to the Casino.

Great rooms, clean, friendly. Choctaw Casino wanted $350 for a Friday night stay. Hampton was $120 for a 5 minute drive away. Save the $200+ and stay with Hampton Inn versus getting gouged by the casino for a weekend room. Not even close that this was the best overall value.

Debbie and her staff are great. They make you feel like family and make sure you are taken care off. I had a problem with my TV and night manager personally came and fixed the problem. It is that level of customer care that made me commit to using the hotel as a base for the next 12 months.

This is the cleanest hotel. friendliest staff, in Durant. The emminities are good with neutragena products. They also provided a shower cap and face towelettes. The AC did not adjust automatically late at night like most hotels. It stayed cool and comfortable all night. Also there was microwave popcorn and paper towels in the mini kitchen. Love this place.

The rooms were filthy. The refrigerator in my room smelled like someone had left a dirty diaper in it. The staff was extremely unhelpful. They didn't know the answers to questions they should know like how the shuttle works or the complimentary breakfast. They even were unsure on how to sign in to the internet. The halls and elevators were 100 degrees.

Rooms were big and spacious (single king) Tv was about 10feet from bed and was small for that distance. It was a 32 inch tv so not too small but the distance from bed made it kind of hard to watch. Mattress was really uncomfortable. Cheap metal spring mattress. I wasn't expecting a tempurpedic or top end but a few steps up from cheapest mattress available wouldn't be too much to ask.

This hotel isn't truly a Hampton Inn, it has the look on the outside but nothing like it on the inside. The rooms are dirty and the front desk clerk treated it as "Just a Job" They do not acknowledge HHoner members, just hand you your room key and send you on your way. The heater smelled like the building was on fire and the toilet was broken. I definitely didn't get what I thought I was paying for.

A friend and I stayed here for a girls' night out. We were going to the casino to have dinner, see a show, and gamble a little. Service was good overall. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The selling point for this hotel (and several others around) is that there is a free shuttle to and from the casino 24 hours a day. That is a super amenity that we appreciated a great deal. Good selection at breakfast which is free - includes hot items.
