My boyfriend David & I have come to Econo Lodge about 6 times within the last 2-3 months. This is the ONLY hotel we come to. Why? Because everything is spotless when we come to get away from our every day lives. We have never had any problems with any of the staff or the rooms. The staff here are incredibly nice & if anyone is loud next door & we call front desk, they take care of it right away. This is definitely the hotel you want to be at for any given reason. And to the staff, thank you for ... Read more

Booked a block of rooms a year in advance for a weeding. A few months before the weeding people started to try and reserve rooms. The staff said I never signed a contract so they released the rooms and didn't bother calling to tell me. It's been a huge mess. The other area hotels were extremely helpful.

When a hotel room costs $60 a night ($55+ taxes), you get what you pay for. Someone in a nearby room was listening to the TV pretty loud. It wasn't enough to keep me awake, but it was definitely enough to make falling asleep harder. And early the next morning, there were yipping dogs and I could overhear someone in another room screaming and cursing. Also, the light in the bathroom was burned out and although I was staying in a nonsmoking room, smoke came through the holes around the showe... Read more

We booked online and were given a room in the third building, second floor. We had a king sized bed and a fridge in the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lady at front desk was very friendly. We didn't use the wifi, so I can't comment on that. The a/c unit worked well. No complaints about outside noise. If you have mobility issues or difficulty carrying your luggage up stairs make sure you ask for a room on the ground floor. The only complaint I had (and it's mi... Read more

The hotel was clean and well kept, with nice size rooms. The rooms have a refrigerator and microwave, however there are no coffee makers in the rooms, and if you are in the back section, you have to walk pretty far in the morning to get it.

We stayed here for the first time while trying to avoid overpaying at other hotels closer to Holmes County's Amish Country. It was only about 25 minutes away (north) from Berlin & Walnut Creek and my kids were excited to swim in the indoor pool. The first room we tried had a TV that didn't work. After trying unsuccessfully to get a maintenance man to come, the front desk lady put us in a different (& much nicer!) room several doors down. The indoor pool was in a separate building a short walk a... Read more

The room was clean, the shower DID NOT smell (showers smell like pee many times in my experience). The fixtures were noticeably upgraded-we did not expect the granite countertops! Price was good and booking was easy. The location is a little off the beaten path but it was worth the 20 minute drive. The breakfast was good! I love waffles!

The room was average for a "MOTEL" SMELLY AIR CON. But we'll worth the 40 $ rates..better than other motels in this area.nice big indoor pool. Maids are a bit pushy and nosey. Property was clean same as room.if your on a budget and need ASAP with a nice pool.this is your place..there's a really nice restaurant bar with live music and a big patio bar outside next door.

Thought I found a bargain while shopping for hotels and reading reviews but like someone else said, you get what you pay for and it holds true in this case. Property had little curb appeal and the room we had was old and well used. Looked like the door had about 12 coats of paint some of which was never scrapped off. Breakfast was minimal but that's OK, not sure if I would have eaten any prepared food. The low price seems like a deal but also is great for contractors and other non vacation... Read more

The hotel is undergoing some renovations which are needed. The room was clean, decent size and convenient to our final destination. Have no reason to visit the hotel again since we were just passing through, but don't think I would stay there again. The nicest surprise was the continental breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy but the variety was more than we expected.

This was my second stay here, and I enjoyed it just as much. The room was clean, quiet, and decently-appointed. Plenty of parking and vending. Karaoke at the Candlelight Lounge was a fun escape to wind down the night. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool was gorgeous! A great value, one I'll be taking advantage of every time life brings me to Wooster.

This was a very Filthy room. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned as soon as we arrived. Only reason we stayed is we are on fixed income and money had already been taken out of my account so we had no extra money to book another hotel. when maid came round just had towels and trash bags no Cleaning supplies, even as we checked out no cleaning supplies. We will never stay at another econo lodge and will not recommend it to any one! I tryed to write a review on the website ... Read more

This is a two star motel, at a two star price. The towels, bedding, tissue, etc are on the low side; but so too is the price. They offer non-smoking, and the bed was nice and firm, the size of the room decent. The plumbing was inconsistent, in that the water temperature fluctuated between hot and cold even though left at one setting. The breakfast is waffles, cereal, donuts, and bagels or muffins. There was some fresh apples, but the juice machine was not operating. Perhaps it's better to c... Read more

We just stayed here last night with another couple. We each stayed in king rooms. We both agreed that the beds were comfortable. Sink, toilet, shower were all in good, working order. The A/C worked. The room wasn't huge, but certainly an acceptable size for 2 people. The full length mirror was dirty, as was the corners of the bathroom and edges of carpet. The remainder of the room was very clean. The carpet appeared worn and was coming up from the floor. Overall for the price it was accept... Read more

My husband, 2 dogs and I stayed here for an over night. It was perfect for what we needed. I guess they are remodeling the rooms so our room was nice and updated but there was a lot of furniture and moving guys around. But they weren't loud and we were able to get a great night sleep. The room needed some cosmetic work but there wasn't any real issues with anything. Breakfast was a little scant but I only paid $54 for the night and there was a McDonald's right across the street. I would definite... Read more
