We were Visiting for Graduation at the University of Toledo. The price of the hotel was excellent and only 15 minutes from the college. The price of hotels were more expensive right next to the college and we did not want to spend that much since we needed 3 rooms. The room and service were both excellent

The Hampton Toledo North was located well for the graduation ceremony we attended at the University of Toledo. The hotel staff were helpful...especially with a loud neighbor. Unfortunately the mattresses in the room were extremely uncomfortable.

I stayed here overnight on the way to Chicago from Canada. The hotel was extremely clean, and very accommodating. I was travelling with two other family members, and we were given a room that could accommodate a party of 30 with all the space. It was a very pleasant stay, the staff was friendly and the free breakfast was fabulous. I would definetly recommend this hotel.

We planned a last minute trip to the Toledo Zoo and this hotel was within 15 minutes of there. Very clean and affordable. Pool area could use a hot tub and the door to enter that area was tricky to open. Breakfast was good but not great, but it was free and saved my family of 5 about $40 for breakfast. We will stay here again if we come back to this area.

I get to Toledo for Cedar Point or for family and friends on average one trip per year. Every hotel there so far has been showing it's age and fairly dumpy; some nicer than others of course, but hadn't had one yet seem fully modern and nice. The Hampton was just that -- fully modern, nice, not dumpy at all. It's a 3 star hotel -- I don't think Toledo offers more -- but it's everything you hope a 3 star to be. Pluses: very very comfortable beds, spotless, as I said, very modern, fridge either in... Read more

Staff was very accommodating. The entrance/lobby area is very attractive with high vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. The room was very clean, something my wife always checks over. Breakfasts at Hampton Inns are pretty consistent throughout the chain, but can be a little difficult for vegans vegetarians who can not eat dairy (no alternative to milk) but otherwise adequate. My only concern was that, even though I had made my reservation several months early, there were no refrigerates available... Read more

Staff is very friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Would be nice to have a larger fitness center as this had only one eliptical and one treadmill. Otherwise the location and value is very good. I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in the area.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and we selected this hotel because it was one of the few in the Toledo area with 2 queen beds (most of the hotels that had rooms only had 1 king or 2 doubles available). The rate was high, but I expect that was because it was a holiday weekend and most of the other hotels in the area were sold out. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and well appointed, and the breakfast was good. Upon arriving in our room, we found a nice handwritten note ... Read more

Stayed at this location for a soccer tournament. Staff was friendly and accommodating considering there were tons of kids at the hotel. Rooms were clean but linens did not smell freshly washed. My pillow smelled like piƱa colada lotion. The location seemed newly built and loved the high ceiling in the lobby. The pool area was great and accommodated several kids at once.

This was a nice Hampton Inn - seemed to be relatively new. The lobby was pretty and the staff was welcoming and helpful. We were in a 2 room suite, which was the largest one we had seen at a Hampton Inn. However, the bathroom was very small and with 3 people in the room, it was a little harder to coordinate. Overall, a good family place to stay.

This hotel is very clean and well-maintained. It looks and feels very new. Had a 2-room suite and it was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the full-size refrigerator and large living room area. Breakfast was nice and there was a large platter of sliced fresh fruit (that was delicious). This is an excellent choice if you are staying in Toledo.

This was a decent small hotel. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. We could hear alot of hall noise however. Our room was near the elevator and ice machine, so traffic near our room made for a noisier night than we would have preferred.

Hampton Inn on Hagman is new with convenient location in and around Toledo for work. Even though the rooms are spacious with excellent modern furnishings (comfortable and relaxing beds, clean linens ), they lack facilities that a standard $100 plus room should have. You expect at least a small microwave and a refrigerator.

Recently spent 2 nights here, mainly as a layover to drop off my son at camp. The room was clean, the A/C was good and quiet. Plenty of towels, friendly staff. At breakfast coffee could be stronger (but that's normal for Hampton Inn) and the Bagel Topper wasn't very good, otherwise breakfast area was clean and well stocked. I didn't use any facilities aside from elevators which were fine. Big downside was location. It is basically an exit off 75, couple of gas stations, couple of hotels, s... Read more

This is one of the few hotels in the area that has 2 room suites - which can be really helpful when you are traveling with little ones that need to nap or go to bed early. Mom and Dad can still talk, watch TV, work without worrying about waking up little ones. The pool was warm which was nice for toddlers. The breakfast options were good - eggs, potatoes, waffle machine, cereal, fruit, toast... Free internet and parking. It was only about a 20 minute drive to the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. ... Read more

Toledo North Hampton Inn is not what I was used to as far as the quality and well-done feeling. Past experiences were wonderful, this one night stay...not so much. The room directly above mine had a very loud creaking floor that kept waking me up all through the night. I did NOT sleep well for my drive home. I told the front desk staff. The closeness to the zoo was nice. The area we were in wasn't the greatest. There was construction noise. Not a lot of restaurants near hotel. The housekeeping wasn't very good. The staff was very nice. The pool was okay, but I wouldn't recommend getting a room there just based on the pool. The pool was extremely dirty with large amounts of hair floating in the pool and trash debris at the bottom and several wads of chewing gum laying on the bottom. The pool may seem insignificant but if no pride is taken in its cleaning and appearance it makes you question how clean the rest of the hotel is. Very musty smell in the lobby like water damage in the carpets.

Our room was very clean as well as the hotel itself. However, the people that were in the pool before us left it very dirty and I'm not sure if they did something to the water but the water was kinda gross. We have stayed here before and it wasn't like that so I'm thinking it was the people before us. The staff is awesome! The room for family to come visit is awesome and their breakfast is great! The pool this last stay was the only downfall. Other than that, we will be back!

Great place to stay, the hotel staff were courteous and extremely helpful. It was reasonably priced. Breakfast was good. I have nothing bad to say about this facility. It was one of the nicest Hampton Inns I've ever stayed at. I was pleasantly surprised that I could not hear the shower running while in the room as you can in most hotels. I was afraid we would wake the children if we took our showers, but the walls were well insulated. Kudos!

I traveled to this Hampton Inn in Toledo as part of a business trip. The staff was extremely courteous and the hotel was tidy and clean. The biggest detractor for me was that there was not a sit-down restaurant close and no place to get a drink. The area of town wasn't the most scenic and a trash dump was nearby. I have no complaints about the hotel, but the location left much to be desired.
