I stayed here one night for the Ohio Sportscards Collectors annual vintage card show. I loved the fact that the show producer has a special room rate for us. As it was the last time I stayed here (about three years ago), I was able to arrive about 11:00 AM and get a room right away. This allowed me to store my overnight stuff in the room and wait for the noon show opening. The show is always in a room off the lobby so it is possible to never have to leave the hotel, even though the weather w... Read more

They have set up the room nicely. However, the internet did not work well. Had to go to the lobby or the hallway near a window to get it connected. The suite was nice but no fridge or micro. Also no breakfast included with the room. The only Holiday Inn I have stayed in that does not include breakfast. Comfortable bed yes.

Convenient location. The elevators were out of service more often the not. We had to haul out luggage up the stairs to the 4th floor, upon arrival and check-out. The shower plumbing was in bad condition, loose from the wall, impossible to get a comfortable temperature. The room was clean, beds comfortable, pool was nice. The grounds around the hotel could have used cleaning, mowing, landscaping around outside of pool area. From the pool area several rooms could be seen with mattresses stoo... Read more

Walked in after a late flight-the wonderful woman that checked us in kept our bags behind the desk while we grabbed a quick bite from the bar before they stopped serving. The pool was great even though we didn't get in. The lighting in the bathroom was not optimal and there wasn't a fridge in the room which surprised me but the room was large & comfortable. The waitress the next morning was also very accommodating. It was a great place to sleep while visiting family.

We stayed 3 nights preparing for our son's wedding in the area. We had guests from all over the country flying in, and this hotel was recommended by our reception facility. This hotel is not cheap and offered us no perks. You can purchase a meal package, but there is no free breakfast. My family that traveled nearly 1000 miles had a broken lock, broken electrical outlet in the bathroom, and no fridge (which we did have in our room). We had several small issues in our room such as the toilet pape... Read more

Our room was very clean. The beds were great with four pillows per bed, which is a nice choice. We had breakfast the next morning downstairs, and it was very good. The pancakes were a bit rubbery, but tasty and the bacon was cooked crispy, the way I like it. my wife had yogurt with fresh fruit and a granola like addition. She liked it. The coffee was good too.

One set of elevators wasn't working. One of the ice machines on the 5th floor wasn't working. There was a problem with the air-conditioning in the ball room where we had a meeting. At least one of the stalls in the women's bathroom in the lobby had squeaky door. The staff at the front counter was very helpful. The dining staff was attentive but there could have been more than 1 waitress.

We need a cheap room for overnight as out of town wedding guest. We actually traveled 8 miles out of our way to this particular hotel instead of the one next door to the wedding reception because we've had great experiences with other holiday inns previously. This one was quite nice for the most part. Check in was incredibly speedy but BEWARE they hold about 30% of the total room rate in addition to the total cost at check in and you don't get it back until the day after you check out. There would have been more stars if the hotel itself were not in such poor condition. The hotel staff really made up for what was lacking in the hotel structure, (elevator not working and messy indoor construction). The front desk staff worked very hard to accommodate us. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was expensive.

We returned on the third night of our three night stay to find that our room had not been cleaned. We were out of the room for at least 12 hours straight that day as well. I called and was told someone would be right up. I left the room for about fifteen minutes. I returned to find the bed made but dirty towels still in the tub with no supplies replenished. I took the towels down to the front desk clerk who apologized and offered us clean ones. We also had to call for cups. We made do with the s... Read more

I've stayed here 10+ times over last 2 years. Rooms are hit and miss. Some are nice some are not. Some are remodeled and some are not. Last night I had a newer King room. TV was broke, shower drain plugged, AC unit was loud, and shower facet handle fell off. For $144/night, it is not worth it.

First off, I made the mistake off booking on Expedia without first checking the hotel's webpage. For $5 more the hotel offered breakfast with the room. That was my only mistake (besides picking this hotel). I called at 7:30 to request a roll away. The woman at the front desk didn't seem to want to be bothered with my request, and said it would just be easier if I asked for it at check in. I responded that I would, but I was concerned they may run out. She assured me they had plenty. At 8:45, w... Read more

I was disappointed in this Holiday Inn compared to others I have enjoyed. 1. Some rooms were being remodeled. Although it was not noisy, I wish I had known when booking, I probably would have stayed elsewhere. 2. Pool was okay, but the water was cold, and there was no spa/hot tub although there was plenty of room for one. 3) Dining room was not serving supper. You could eat in the bar/lounge, but I am not a bar/lounge type eater. I prefer a more quiet atmosphere. 4. Parking lot was being repaved... Read more

Hallway carpets old and worn. Restaurant was closed by 8 on saturday-food service in bar only. Complimentary coffee cut off at noon. Over half the fitness equipment broken. No in room mini frig, bathroom looks like it is from a cut rate motel and hall carpet looks like it is decades old. The lobby area is nice, the breakfast buffet and dinner are good and once inside my room, it was ok with issues. Hotel is clean and modern, but for the rate we paid you would have a refrigerator, complementary breakfast and a working TV at just about every other major chain. I called about the TV both nights we stayed and was told maintenance would come to fix, they never did. I can't recommend this hotel.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 6-8 years for the Adidas Soccer tournament and the hotel has just finished (or at least our room was) it's remodeling. The pool is nicely done and our presidential suite was perfect. My soccer team stayed in the double bed rooms and were not happy that the rooms didn't have little fridges, although the cabinet under the tvs are made for one to fit Free breakfast would be nice too for the rate that we paid. Other than that, no complaints.

The lobby and room were clean enough. However, no fridge and no microwave in the room. Though there was a cabinet meant for a fridge, the front desk said not every room has one but I could get on "a waiting list" to have one moved into my room whenever one became available. Huh? Also, while the pool was quite large it was NOT heated. We checked in yesterday. Got our room early, thought we were at a decent hotel based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I requested a roll-away bed with my reservation. When we got to the hotel, the lady at the front desk said she would put us on the waiting list. Of course we never got it. I've stayed at a lot of holiday inns the last few days and this was the worst one. The beds are not as comfortable, there's no fridge or microwave, the bathroom is falling apart, and the towel rack is IN the shower. There is a restaurant to eat at in the hotel, good food, smaller portions for your money, and on the expensive side. Which means if you want breakfast you also have to pay for it or go somewhere else. The one good thing I have to say is what an amazing pool!!! But no hot tub!

The staff is really friendly and helpful but they cannot make up for the tired old facility. The bath tub in my room was delaminating. The coating was coming off around the drain. Although Holiday Inn properties in Europe are often maintained at a fairly high level, the U.S. version of this chain has seen its better days.
