We are HHonors members so we've stayed in MANY Hampton Inns. We appreciate the daily hot breakfast and the rooms are always clean with spacious bathrooms. This one in Richfield was a surprise as it had some new updates we hadn't seen in others. Instead of a simple chair or loveseat, there was a chaise lounger with a movable side table. The dresser drawers were open almost like cubes with sliders. All very contemporary. Wifi, breakfast, bar next door.....yeah; we're good!

We stopped here overnight on a recent road trip. Very conveniently located just off the Ohio Turnpike. Clean and comfortable room. Very pleasant staff. Decent breakfast fare, Reasonable rates. We thought it was the better option of the small array of hotels that were listed as close to the turnpike when we were ready for a break.

The staff was very polite and attentive. The location is great for someone looking for an "On and Off the Turnpike" place. The room was dirty; and had very likely not been cleaned well in some time. The countertops and dresser top had a layer of dust that was easily visible. I found a cigarette butt on the floor next to the bed; and it looked like it had been there for some time. The carpeting near the rear door looked like they had not been cleaned or replaced in years. More than just dirty.... Read more

Hampton always has great rooms and comfortable beds. We stay exclusively at Hampton Inns because the hotels are consistently good and the service is also consistently good. I have been asked to lengthen my comments but any thing that I would add more would be redundant.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn in Richfield and the stay was great. Room was clean and quiet. Location was good for my needs. I plan to come back here again when I am in town for business. I would not say this was a good place for a romantic getaway away though.

I was shocked at the behavior of the Front Desk Clerk. I specifically asked if the coffee in the lobby was fresh. Her response "yes." When i took my first sip it was as cold as ice. When I informed her she said "it was fresh at 9 am." Really?! Total lack of people skills too. The bathroom was missing wash cloths. When I went to the front desk they handed me 4 bath/shower mats ... really?! When I told the man that it was unacceptable he went in the back and found one but said he would br... Read more

This hampton inn was okay.. not as great as other though. The room was clean, but when we first went into the room the heat was on high. (It was 80 degrees outside) The staff at the front desk didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. Our reservation was put in under the wrong name and they told us it's hard to hear on their phones so it happens all the time. Seemed really unprofessional to me. The breakfast was yummy but typical for a hampton inn. The lady who was supposed to be cleaning... Read more

This was a very good basic hotel with good hot breakfast. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The location, just off of I-80 south of Cleveland was perfect. Easy on and off the toll road without the hassle of being too near a large city. Some very good restaurants a few miles north in the next town of Brecksville. The Creekside restaurant was a real find. Very good food and service.

Just load a/c units disturbed sleep, and when they are not on the room is uncomfortably warm. Aside from that the room was okay, nothing special and nothing to complain about. Staff was quick and friendly.

This hotel is conveniently located, very quiet, the staff are greatly helpful and the rooms were very clean and neat. The breakfast was one of the better breakfasts that I have eaten at a 'complimentary breakfast' hotel. The eggs were fresh, the sausage links hot, the oatmeal not gooey and the bread not stale. I ate at the last moment possible because I had somewhere to be earlier in the morning. Even the milk was cold. The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous.

Nothing terrible nothing grand could use some touch ups in the rooms and offer wired and wifi net with higher speeds. All in all the hotel is ok but it could be good with some attention to detail of what business clients need or like. The staff was nice enough just hard to find those genuine people anymore I guess.

This hotel is absolutely clean. They are a pet free hotel which I think really helps with keeping the rooms looking and smelling nice and clean. The breakfast area is spacious and very comfortable and inviting. The food was your basic hot continental breakfast but there was plenty of it. I would definitely stay here again.

Initially I wasn't impressed with the location but I quickly changed my mind after realizing that the area around Richfield had a lot to offer. The hotel itself was clean and updated and the staff was kind and welcoming. If you don't mind driving 10min. to find things to do in the area, this is a great place to stay. Although not related to the hotel, I would not recommend the restaurant that is next to the hotel.

We chose this hotel because it was located near Cayahoga Valley National Park. The commute to and from the park was very easy. The hotel had a very nice hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, and a variety of pastries and cereals, Rooms were adequate. But don't expect a nice view from any of the rooms - in fact, our friends had a room with a view of a brick wall right outside their window! The hotel is the average Hampton Inn. You know what to expect. Good staff, rooms clean but on the smaller size. The shower head that is so publicized by HI does not really work... Or I never got it to work properly. It may be time for a change. The furnitures of th room were new. Noisy neighbors but that is not the hotel.s fault, What impressed me was the speed of their WIFI 9,37Mps download and 12,91 upload. Not even premium goes so fast. Good job

This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel but as it stands now is just average. The hotel is clean but the bedding is outdated and lumpy. The staff looks annoyed when you ask them a question. Hotel staff knocked on my room door and less than 2 seconds later opened the door. Looked at me and said sorry I have to check the water. I'm glad my wife and I were dressed. I will look for other accommodations in the area and will not stay here again.

Very close to Cuyahoga state Park. That is why we came. Clean and neat as you would expect. It must be older because we heard our upstairs and side neighbors. Breakfast was carb oriented. Just would ask parents to bring your children with there shoes on and washed faces and hands. It's getting too casual for my liking in the dining area. The good news. There are good restaurants near by.

The rooms (after we switched as the first smelled like smoke) were good. They have had some renovations done but not a full remodel (bathroom fixtures were still original). Unfortunately they ran out of food at 9:30 AM so I can't comment about the breakfast. The view from the second floor is not a view but a vista of the pool wall. For a single night stay on a road trip it was OK.

I usually like Hampton Inn, and this was a fairly standard one. The room was very modern and clean, the pool and fitness center were nice, and the continental breakfast had a lot of variety. The location was very convenient for us - we were going to the Football Hall of Fame on the first day and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the second day, and this made for an easy drive to both places. The hotel was clean and nice. I always feel like I can trust Hampton Inns. The guests were a bit loud when they entered, and the person in the room above me stomped instead of walked. I can't blame the hotel for this, but I will be more careful not to get a room by one of the outside doors. The maintenance man was very nice, but his skills showed room for improvement.

Awful place. I stay at Hampton hotels very often. very happy most of the time. But this location was the exception. I arrived at 1:00 AM to find a "non-smoking" room with a strong smoking odor. I was relocated to a cleaner room, but the damage was done. Staff should have ensure that the room is clean and odorless prior to guess arrival. Commons areas were also dirty.
