I was traveling across Ohio, it was getting late and thinking about finding a place to stay for the night. My friend Dale, highly recommended that I call John Wehringer at the Red Roof Inn. Great stay, great rates, and John Wehringer was a super friendly and knowledgable staff member. I've stayed here several times over the years and it's been great every time. It's centrally located to many restaurants and the interstates but is secluded enough.

My second stay here and couldn't be happier! The rooms are comfortable and roomy but what makes this hotel stand out is the incredible staff. At the head of that list is John who is not only professional but makes you feel like a friend and a VIP all at the same time. The hotel is in a great location that is convenient to the best parts of Boardman or I-680, but far enough away from constant traffic. If you need a place to stay at a very reasonable price, look no further.

This place is made wonderful by the excellent customer service of one John Wehringer. He goes a above and beyond the norm around here to make sure you feel right at home. I am so glad I chose this hotel over the others in the area. Thank you John for such great hospitality!

Rooms are very nice and clean, free WiFi and very covenant location. Not to mention John wehringer checked us in and was more then helpfull, very kind and professional. First hotel I've been to and get offered bottled water. Very nice place and John did an excellent job serving.

I have a certain expectation of RRI hotels especially corporate run Inns. While I have had some scetchy stays at franchised locations the RRI in Boardman was a pleasure. The room was up to the standards I expect from my favorite bang for the buck lodging provider. The only small gripe was that I actually prefer the newer laminate/wood flooring in the renovated rooms because I can see that they are clean and this location is carpeted. "Ummm, where's the font desk staff," is the thought that crossed my mind on more than one occasion upon leaving and returning. The cleanliness of the bathroom, bed linens, and carpet were questionable. Cigarette burns in the sofa. I wasn't touching the fridge. Dirty glass doors and windows. It okay if you're in a pinch, but I never plan to book here again.

I came into Youngstown for a wedding. The Red Roof Inn was a clean, pleasant place to stay. Even better, I was welcomed by John Wehringer, who promptly cut my bill and upgraded my room as soon as I arrived. Excellent customer service. Thanks John!

I was in the area for a dog show, we LOVE Red Roof. John Wehringer offered a lesser rate than what I had received with a discount code. Great sized, clean king room, the microwave & frig are always a plus, Did I mention how much dog show people appreciate the Red Roof, we think they are Awesome!!! Free water for Redicard Members, free rooms with points, free coffee, nice grounds. I liked it ALL!!!

Everything was so easy. From the check in ,wake up calls , everything was great! John Wehringer at the front desk was amazing!! He is so kind and attentive to all of my needs! I cant say enough good things about him!! Give this man a raise!!

Can the Red Roof tell me where I find an employee that can match John Wehringer's work ethic? Does this man ever rest? It seems that he is on shift every time I step foot in the lobby of this hotel. I needed a room last minute. I got a double room for about $90 after taxes. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Wifi worked well. Cable channels were limited but I didn't watch much TV anyway. The bed was comfortable overall, but the pillows weren't. I'd stay again if I needed to.

Unexpectedly needed a room in Youngstown and walked into the the Boardman Red Roof Inn unannounced late in the evening. John Wehringer turned an unhappy situation into an easy evening. He provided me with a lovely suite at a great price, drinking water and a great recommendation for dinner at a local, non chain restaurant. Easy, comfortable place in Boardman. Hotel in a safe neighborhood. Free Wifi is also a plus. Jersey's loss in Boardman's gain.

I've been staying at the Red Roof Inn in Boardman, OH with friends and relatives every July for the past 5 years. Red Roof Rocks! Manager John Wehringer is awesome. I do business in Youngstown and I come in to town once a month, Red Roof Inn is the only hotel I will stay in. Staff in this hotel is friendly and provides great customer service. They really take care of travelers who are coming through town. I do lots of traveling for my business. We checked into the Red Roof on thursday for a saturday family reunion. The manager Joohn Wehringer does an outstanding job. He and the staff made sure that all our needs were met. The rooms were clean and maintained. I recommend the Red Roof Boardman to all my friend and family.

Just finished another delightful business trip here at the Red Roof Inn, Boardman. Clean, close to a bunch of good restaurants, and inexpensive. Just had a great conversation with John Wehringer at the front desk. Super nice guy. Very knowledgable about the area. Professional.

Red Roof Inn found a real gem with John Wehringer. He is an awesome individual that made check in painless and seamless.. I've traveled for a long time to many hotels and out of all of them.. I believe John has just become the best check in experience of my career! I usually go to ihg or choice privilege properties.. but because of him. . I will be looking much more closely into staying at other Red Roof properties.

Reserved 8 rooms for July 19-20 for a retired mens group golf outing. Upon arrival were met by John Wehringer at front desk. NEVER had I had a more helpful hotel desk clerk. Made check in a breeze. Gave suggestions where to go for breakfast. Very personable man. Will use this hotel next year. Thanks John!

I stayed here with my husband for one night. The hotel desk staff gave us this room for a very cheap price. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean. Also, there are many restaurants within walking distance. One negative I found was the toilet knob kept getting stuck. Also, the hotel front desk staff had no one standing there when I walked in. Beyond the only two negatives, I would recommend this hotel.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Red Roof Inn,Boardman Ohio. We were traveling from PA to visit family. John Wehringer went above and beyond expectations to make our stay comfortable. Average. Clean room. Wouldn't bring Mom or girlfriend due to condition of stairs, hall, sink, and tub. In room refer, but no coffee maker. Good enough for the seasoned traveler to get a good night's sleep. Easy, friendly check in and good restaurants within walking distance.

On a golf outing with friends, we stayed at the Red Roof overnight. The staff was tremendous, the rooms were good (very clean, nice accommodations). Needless to say, we did not stay a long time in the hotel (we were able to utilize a hospitality room, which was extremely nice), but I would rate it as an overall excellent

Dog friendly, has elevator (just one though) nice rubber flooring in stairwells. They even set out poop barrels this year when a big dog show was in the area. I've stayed here for years, it's essential to book early (2 months at least) to get a room for Canfield weekend.

The staff is extremely friendly and considerably accommodating. John Wehringer is always looking out for my best interest and goes above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boardman, Ohio. The rooms are spacious, clean and maintained.

For the price the hotel was clean and comfortable. Wifi worked well, which rarely happens at hotels. We were there for a wrestling tournament and I would definitely stay there again. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

John Wehringer has gone above and beyond to accommodate and assist my family. He offered his knowledge of the area, which was so helpful to my husband and I in reaching a crucial decision. He was far more willing to help with bedding and enough towels to get my kids settled and situated than any other hotel we stayed with this week. This is our 4th and I regret not starting our trip off here.

I thought that I had a reservation when I arrived, but that wasn't the case. But, John Wehringer found me a room right away and even discussed discounts I may be eligible for. He was very quick and courteous yet he had several others waiting to check in. He even told me a place to eat that gives discounts to those staying at the Hotel.

Stopped here on my way from Chicago to DC. This is a nicer 4 story Red Roof Inn. The location off the turnpike was easy to get to. Just called hotel on route and they were able to find me a room. And of course they are pet friendly, which my dog and wallet appreciate.

Our primary reason for staying at Red Roof Inns is the universal pet friendly policy. They are also very consistent in what they deliver for value paid. The inn was also very centrally located to restaurants and shopping because when you are going to a dog show, you always forget something.
