When making the phone reservation at 9:00 pm, I specifically asked for a Holiday Inn Express since I had such a pleasant stay a few nights earlier at another HI Express. At appx 9:30 pm we arrived at the location given to us by booking and presented our pre-paid, non-refundable confirmation. It was a Holiday Inn, not a HI Express. The desk said we had no reservation and although the address was correct, our reservation was probably at a HI Express about 10 miles away. We go there only to find ... Read more

Visiting as part of a two-day conference - arrived a day early and stayed a day after. All meeting rooms were well prepared ahead of time and the luncheon and dinner were outstanding! Service was excellent at all times - we'll be back in the future!

Stayed here with friends and family price is hi in holadom we stay every year for spring break with the kids this year the wrist band was a point of contention. I have kids 7-14 years old and two kids threw wrist bands out and they w checked every hour for wrist bands ugh. Other then the ordeal with wrist bands and nothing free or even discount coupons to restaurant or a refrigerator in rooms it makes the stay even more expensive.

If you grew up during the 80's and 90's, you know what "Holidome" meant. You were the envy of all your friends. It was like going to camp. Well stop reminiscing and book your trip this weekend with the family. Pools, Pool, Ping Pong, Foosball, hot tubs and saunas. My kids love it when I'm on a business trip to Toledo and staying here.

We spent one night on our way home from a business trip in Indy. Did not realize this was a kiddie hotel, like a mini resort for the children. Pool, games room, pinball machines etc.. The hotel was very noisy, adults and children hooting and hollering till after 11 pm. The hotel is very old and dated and tacky. French Quarters, true French design it isn't. The room was very gloomy, the toilet was tiny and so low it felt like you were almost on the floor, seemed like a child size toilet... Read more

Had to stay here for a big soccer tournament - this is the hotel the team manager booked. Good thing it was just one night! Considering the price we paid, I would definitely stay at another hotel next year, knowing we can easily find one that's updated and with fridge and microwave, and probably pay less. First the positive points. The kids thought it was great fun - they were in and out of the pools all evening, and took full advantage of the other activities. Our room had been partly updated... I read the reviews so I knew that this hotel was going to be busy. The interior of the hotel was very nice and it lived up to the description of the French Quarter. The rooms weren't as nice, a little dated and wall paper peeling off the walls. We also asked for a double room but they could only give us a king size bed. The good news our room was far enough away from all the activity that it was nice and quiet. The bad news we couldn't get any wifi and had to sit in the lobby where it was v... Read more

Knowing that Holidomes are kind of a thing of the past is the only thing that helped with our stay. The hotel is large and fairly well kept inside and out. Could definitely use some sprucing up. The inside of the hotel is unique and impressive. I will say they could do a much better job with the "street signs" directing guests to the amenities. This hotel has 3 swimming pools but nothing inside the atrium area leads you to the two family pools/holidome area. Once located, the family indoor/outd... Read more

My husband and I stay here about once a year when visiting my family in Ohio. It's near the turnpike and I-75, which is convenient. We also like that there are lots of restaurants within walking distance and shopping nearby. I telecommute, so I usually have to work on my computer while traveling (usually one of the main reasons we stay here). Fortunately I did not need to do much work on this trip because the Internet connection was awful. I couldn't stay online for more than 30 seconds at a tim... Read more

Stayed in a king bed room facing pool. First off, the rooms AC didn't work properly and wouldn't blow cold air so room was very hot n humid. Stains on floor. Went outside to use pool and it was very dirty. So went inside and thought we would get a couple drinks BUT you can NOT have any drinks or food around pool. Went got drinks and went to walk through pool area to my patio and was stopped by one of the workers by the pool and she chuckled n said, can't you read and showed me the sign. I said j... Read more

We've stayed here in the past and while it wasn't the best, it was at least decent. It's definitely gone downhill. Check in went smoothly, the beds were clean and although dated everything seemed fine. Until we saw the bathroom. There was used soap in the shower. And it appeared to have been used for awhile, meaning it was pretty melted down. Obviously this meant the shower wasn't clean. We informed the front desk and they offered to clean it at that moment but because it was after 11pm and we w... Read more

Stayed her for 9 days on a family vacation. Rooms very small and outdated. Had to call in 2 times for fresh towels that were not left in room when the cleaning people supposedly had cleaned. Cleaning people did not vacuum the room everyday. The pool was nice for the kids, but it doesn't outweigh the age of the rooms. Internet or wifi also didn't work. Staff was friendly. Would not stay there again.

Took over 2.5 hours to check in and get our room. Kept telling us it would be 30 minutes that it was being cleaned. Front desk people are rude and not honest. Went there for the pool for my son which did not disappoint. When in Toledo area will stay somewhere else.

The hotel has a very pretty French Quarter theme going on, which, being a lover of NOLA I adored. It was, however, pretty dated and in need of remodeling. While clean, the carpeting was old and worn. The rooms were very small and also in need of remodeling. The curtains had stains and the carpet was gross. There were no refrigerators or microwaves in the room which we didn't like. We needed to use our cooler to keep things cold and there was no ice in ANY of the ice makers near us. Also, the ... Read more

There were only six rooms available within 30 miles -- all at this hotel. It is so old and looks like it hasn't been updated since I stayed here 30 years ago. Perhaps somewhere in this place there could be a refreshed room. However, everything I've seen is well past worn out. Bennett Enterprises -- update your property.

It was a last minute reservation and I was treated really well when I checked in at 10:00 pm. I slept in a little bit and had the complimentary breakfast on the upper floor. We had a large group staying at this hotel. There was a line to check in and many rooms were not ready, even though it was well after the 4:00 check in time. We did receive a free upgrade for the inconvenience. Housekeeping appeared to be very slow. We stayed 3 nights and twice returned to our room, only to find it had not been cleaned. Adequate facility. My friend and I stayed there while driving back to New York, Saturday night as a last minute decision. Checking in was fast and the standerd room was the perfect size and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a room on the first floor. The only thing was the dirty shower liner. But other than that it was a perfect and the staff was friendly and welcoming as a last minute walk in.

We paid extra to have a suite so the grandkids who live nearby could visit us, everything was a bit worn and if you are taller than 5'9" you won't be able to stand up straight in the bathroom/shower area. The pool was enjoyed by our 3 gkids and we paid $1 per game to shoot pool, the cue sticks are old and no chalk was available. Didn't realize that breakfast didn't come with the price, so disappointed with that. The fitness center was nice with newer equipment and the desk people were very nice.
