This hotel, and I use the word hotel loosely, was nothing more than a motel 6 with the Country Inns And Suites logo. The room had bugs and was dirty and outdated. The website advertised a hot breakfast buffet with made to order omelets and the breakfast was nothing more than a continental breakfast

We drive an extra 20 minutes to stay at the Country Inn and Suites Sandusly South OH. We always get an excellent rate being a Carlson member and the breakfast is great. The rooms are very clean and we have never had a problem. We won't stay anywhere else when we visit Cedar Point.

Clean room, great breakfast with lots of variety (fruit, waffles, cereal, bagels, eggs, etc), super friendly and helpful staff (especially the lady working the breakfast whose name I failed to get), very cozy bed, and all for a very reasonable rate. Very satisfied.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel, from it's front desk receptionist to the housekeeping department, we were very please with our stay! The front desk receptionist, Mandy, was extremely nice and saw to it that our needs were met!!

We experienced 2 problems. We booked 2 king rooms and they only had a king and a double; price was adjusted slightly to compensate. Also one of the rooms was next to a barking dog and we had to change rooms. Amenities and breakfast were very average.

We checked in around midnight, lady at the front desk barely looked up to check us in. Walk into the room, no fridge or microwave. None of the staff was friendly, they gave us dirty looks and were hesitant to give us towels or an extra room key

We had reservations at another Sandusky hotel, but when we went to check in we were greeted by such negative employees that we canceled the reservation and left immediately. We quickly went on a travel website and booked this hotel. We checked in around 11pm and were greeted by the most friendly helpful front desk employees! What a difference!

Friendly front desk staff. Rooms have double beds, but are comfy and so are pillows. Wi-Fi is slow. There is an outdoor pool perfect for a dip at the end of a travel day. Standard breakfast buffet, and friendly attendant.

Everyone working here was so friendly and helpful. From the front desk, to the cleaning ladies to the women working the breakfast. I felt as if I was visiting a friend's home. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had lots of hot water, and everything was so quiet when we were sleeping! I was surprised since there were multiple conventions going on in the area, in addition to Cedar Point opening--the hotel was completely booked every night. I do have to pay special attention to the breakfas... Read more

First off, I would not classify this as a "hotel": It's a 2-story motel at best, and I'm not sure why the name has "suites" in it. The staff was very friendly here, but the property needs a lot of improvement. Although the lobby looks clean and updated, along with the carpet in the hallway, I opened the door to my first floor room (which I tried twice to change, and was denied, although they had rooms available to move me to) and my heart sank. The carpet was old, sticky and dirty - there was ev... Read more

Stayed here for business, easy check in, clean hotel, close to the interstate. I would stay here again. down the road from Cedar Point. Breakfast was normal for this chain. Check in was very easy. Average rates for the area

Clean and friendly service, wish there would have been a bit more hot breakfast selections. The pool was clean. The beds could have been queens but they were comfortable. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

I check in to the hotel with my family just for a nights stay while driving back home after a vacation. This hotel was close to interstate highway yet quiet. It had all that we need for a night stay with family. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious enough. It was worth the price.

Room was okay. I needed a room for just overnight. Rates were reasonable. I actually had a handicapped room on the first floor with a huge bathroom, which was cool. I arrived late but the young man at the desk assisted me with a business locally that did pizza deliveries. He was most helpful. In the morning I needed directions and the staff was excellent with that. The bed was a little soft for me, but overall it was okay. I would stay there again.

We were travelling the turnpike and this was very close. Clean bathroom and room. No refrigerator. Breakfast was typical waffles, cereal. Swimming pool was outside, heated. Beds were double (not sure if entire hotel is double)

Clean, quiet, reasonably priced. I am careful when I choose a hotel. I get "creeped out" when staying at dingy or old feeling hotels. I felt quite comfortable here. Beds and pillows comfortable (and plentiful!)

The hotel itself was nice, but nothing special. The staff however was very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The room was small and did not have a frig or microwave. There wasn't a laundry facility either. The hotel was located right off of the TP and about 20 minutes to Cedar Point. There are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The employees were very kind to myself and my family.. The building in general was very clean.. There employees were very friendly.. We come to the park often and found a hotel that we will be coming back too.. It's only 10 miles from the park and quiet area too, that makes a difference when you're tired and wanna rest to..The breakfast is way more than I expected.. Thanks,
