I keep coming to same hotel for business, even though I have to travel some days an extra 30 miles. The owners always remember my name and some extra special details to make me feel right at home during my stay.

I had to work in Mentor yesterday and got in the day before. I had a reservation with the Hampton and could not have been more pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful, great breakfast via their buffet and the room was extra super. Couch, refrigerator, microwave, king size bed, beautiful "white noise" with their fan system... large bathroom and prep area, an extra big closest, great TV as I watched the Indians and the Cavs both win!!! If your travels take you to the Cleveland area, you couldn't do better than stay at this clean, comfortable hotel. While there, we shared the property with two busloads of college athletes. We expected a noisy time and the breakfast bar to be wiped out. Instead, we didn't hear a peep and the breakfast staff did a great job of keeping everything full and hot. We stayed for three days on a family visit. The hotel is on the far east side of Mentor in the Diamond Center development, very close to lots of restaurant choices. I booked 4 rooms at this hotel because I had family coming from out of town. I am a Hilton Honors member so I got a great price. I went out and check the rooms myself. They were very clean and like new. The hotel is not that old. My family raved about the comfort of the beds, cleanliness, the breakfast. They all had a great stay. The location is great too. 3 or 4 youth baseball teams staying at the hotel under parental supervision. Night desk clerk shut everything down at 9:00 p.m. for "safety reasons" Really?? Nobody to complain to at the time as she was in charge. Probably will look for other lodging if I return to the area because of her attitude.

The front desk clerk was not helpful. I tried to move rooms shotly after I checked in because of noise and she refused saying the hotel was completely booked. Over night the parking lot was not full and the breakfast was sparsely attended. It was clear the hotel was not full and the clerk chose to lie rather than assist me. The hotel staff in the morning was very polite and pleasant, a complete turnaround from the night beffore.

Stay at this hotel was great. we stayed here for 3 nights due to a family wedding nearby. Accommodations were great, rooms were clean, very friendly and courteous staff. ample food for complimentary breakfast. Pool water was just right temp. and area was clean. Manager (Alpesh / Mina ) went out of the way to help us for all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel is a regular businessman's hotel. The staff (currently, June 2016) will only give you great service if you are a regular businessman. My boss and I actually received awful service from all of the female employees (Sammie most notably), and will never return to this hotel unless the employees have been retrained or let go. We highly suspect the rude service was because my boss is in a power wheelchair.

Stopped here on my way through on a business trip. The young lady at the front counter seemed annoyed when I asked to make sure that I get my Hilton Honors points for my stay. The room was not as clean as one is accustomed to when staying at a Hampton Inn and the staff was not your typical helpful staff. It seems they were scared to do what it takes to make the customer welcome. I asked a simple question and they had to go ask the general manager who came out and stood over their shoulder the entire time and talked down to them. I always stay at Hilton brands and travel quite a bit. This Hampton is like all the others around the country except for a large part of the experience missing in hotels, Guest Services. Like fast food chains, hotels are popping up everywhere so finding a hotel is easy. With over-saturation of hotels, it is difficult finding one who has people that care. Rooms where nice, we checked in early and received an upgrade because our room wasn't ready yet. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Evening staff was very great help as before our grandson decided to stay with us in the room, she got us everything we needed. Rooms are a little pricey, but standard for the area. Feel they're high on the reward points required for the room. Have stayed here in the past and will very likely stay here again

Overall this was a great stay. Facilities were clean and comfortable. I was surprised by the fitness room. I was able to do a complete body workout on very up to date equipment. Front desk was jovial and helpful. This was a great value for the price and would highly recommend it.

Needed a place for rest and relaxation after the passing of my mother and this was the place. Room was very large. Excellent hotel. Highly recommend. Very clean and wonderful staff. We stayed as we traveled out to Rockport, Massachusetts. Love how consistently clean Hampton Inn's are and the quality of the breakfast offered.

Here on business. The hotel was clean and the staff very courteous. Like all Hampton's, the breakfast was the same, but they did keep on top of it making sure nothing ran out. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

This hotel is styled like a typical Hampton Inn. The king room was large, the bathroom was clean & updated. I loved the large walk in shower - this was not an accessible room. The breakfast was the same as all other HI & the staff kept it constantly filled. I did notice the more expensive items were not offered like other HI properties. The walls between rooms are thin. We listened to our neighbors tv all through the night. We could hear her cough & sneeze!

The room we stayed In was okay. It was kind of sucky to stay all the way on the 4th floor when you made a reservation so far I. Advance. The carpet off the elevator smelled all the way to our door. I have stayed at many HIltonH properties and felt like I was staying at an economy hotel for a high price. The rooms have no safes or refrigerators. Was disappointed that they discontinued cookies and didn't have 24 hour front desk service.

We stayed in a king jacuzzi suite for a weekend getaway. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, jacuzzi was great, and bed was comfy! Our room also had a small microwave and refrigerator. Hotel was very quiet, no problem with noise. Breakfast was very good, many items to choose from, however, I wish they had bacon. The staff was very friendly! We will definitely return!

Other than the fact the bed was hard & pillows were too soft. This hotel was very nice. Customer Service was EXTRAORDINARY! And rooms were VERY clean. However, due to my back & neck problems, my experience wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be.

I almost didn't book this hotel because several reviews said the pool water was too cold. The pool is where my family likes to spend a lot of time, so having a good pool is important. That was the first thing I checked after checking in, and the pool temp was perfect! The pool room itself was also warm, so my family could play for hours. Online App showed hot tub in pool area...there is no hot tub. Hotel was very busy and there was no place to sit at breakfast...however the staff member on duty was trying her best to find a resolution.

This place was fantastic to stay in for several days. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. This inn is conveniently located off OH2. Every area of the hotel we used was noticeably clean. The staff was helpful with several requests we had. Square footage in the room seemed smaller than recent stays elsewhere, but it may have been a lower ceiling. Would stay here again, most definitely.

I stay here all the time. Would not stay anywhere else when I am in the Mentor Ohio area. The hotel staff goes out of their way to make you happy. They know all their guest by name and take care of things if there should be any issue.

Centrally located and within waking distance to Top Brand Restaurants, in this case Ruby Tuesdays and B W 3's, and Highways. Everything was great except the helpfulness of the staff. The lady at the front desk was having a random conversation with another customer about non hotel related things. While I was waiting patiently for the conversation to be done so that I could ask for bed sheets. when checking out the next morning no one was at the front desk so I waited about 10 to 15 minutes before someone showed up

A group of adults were sitting and talking in the lobby. We were not loud. There was no alcohol. No kids-- just adults talking! The front desk staff lied and told us it was the policy of the hotel to shut down the lobby at 9pm to prepare for breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed here while working in Mentor. The staff again was top-notch and the morning buffet was really good. Had the USA paper there and I got a nice cup of coffee to drink on the way to work. They also had brown bag breakfasts prepared for people who wanted to eat on the run. Great room, great white noise to help me sleep... the shower did not have much water pressure but the room was very nice!!

I highly recommend this Hampton! We had a great stay and had a nice, clean room and the staff were very friendly. We never had to wait for breakfast items to be replaced. The staff was on top of having everything ready for a large group we were with and no one had to wait around like I have at other hotels.

This is a nice hotel, and typically where we stay when we are in the area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a nice breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. I just wish they had a hotel bar.
