The positives include a friendly front desk staff, requested bed board came quickly and a good quality gym. The concierge lounge was a colossal disappointment. Regardless if it was AM or PM the staff was normally sitting behind the desk, surfing the internet or playing with their cell phones. On a Tuesday AM there was ZERO water. Really. Oatmeal was cold and there was no nuts, raisins to accompany it with. Plates just get stacked up in the corner. Unreal. Lounge needs a major makeover. ... Read more

I was very surprised how alert and helpful the staff was. Rather than point I was walked to where I was going (like the old days), and had a delightful conversation rather than made to feel like an inconvenience or idiot. It was nice! Hospitality was great!! I would recommend without concern. JPB

Stayed with my husband while enjoying a weekend at Kings Island. Fantastic staff, easy checkin process, clean rooms, beautiful facility. It was well worth the money and we would definitely recommend to stay here!

Stayed overnight for a weekend trip to IKEA. Was genuinely impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the Marriott. I thought this was a new hotel but realized it wasn't as I noticed the bathroom door had some wear on it. The THANN toiletries were a treat. They smelled heavenly and were better than most hotel toiletries. Easy access to the main road and IKEA. Got the room for $81 taxes and all through a travel booking site. Will certainly come back.

I am a frequent visitor to Marriott properties and if I had not seen the Marriott sign out front I would have not known I was in a Marriott. I was there for a conference and did not stay in a sleeping room so I cannot rate the rooms. But the service at the conference was NOT Marriott service. We had lunch and dinner and the servers brought out the next course before clearing the place settings from the previous course. There was that very awkward moment of handing the server my salad plate b... Read more

On a road trip - Dallas to Pittsburgh. Got tired last night so we found and booked the closest Marriott. Always prefer Marriott and never disappointed. Great room - wife did complain that bed and pillows were much more comfortable than ours. Picked up a quick night cap at the restaurant. Concierge breakfast was quick, simple yet good. Really nice facility.

Stayed here recently and I have to say it was a very good experience. From the check-in to the food at the restaurant to the actual room. Everything was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the opportunity to stay on the concierge floor and was very pleased. Spoke with one of the staff in the elevator and he said they were planning on a major renovation. I like the way this Marriott is thinking. It is already a very nice and up to date Marriott, but seeing the competition around th... Read more

We stayed here after spending the day at Kings Island. It was clean, the people were nice and close to the park. It was nice to have a hotel close and clean for the end of the day and not have a long drive after the day of fun.

We stayed at the Marriott Northeast and enjoyed our stay. The room is rather basic with a king bed and couch, but extremely clean. Actually, the entire hotel was super clean. The check in was quick (mobile check in) and the service desk associate was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies. It would be helpful if the room had a mini fridge. The outdoor pool area is decent, clean and rather basic as well. The indoor pool is also nice as is the workout area. They h... Read more

We only stayed a weekend but it was a very nice hotel and great location! Very friendly staff and the rooms were very clean! We really enjoyed our stay! We really liked how you could use either card or cash to pay for things. It's not like that anymore at alot of hotels. We highly recommend this one!

We were looking for a nearby hotel when planning our trip to Kings Island and found a great deal on our room at the Marriott. It was conveniently located and we had a great time unwinding after a long day at the park.

We had a great stay in Mason for a baseball tournament. The hotel was older and lacked a few basics like refrigerators and a room safe, but it was very, very clean. Truly one of the cleanest I've ever been in and we stay at a lot of hotels. The beds were good and the shower pressure was good. The room decor was not my taste, but was fine.. It really was the perfect hotel for a large group due to the giant lobby and sitting area. Our group hung out every night in the big lobby and there wer... Read more

This hotel has a great location to Kings Island if that's what you are looking for. Although, I did not know while booking that it is currently under renovation. We heard construction in the parking lot (we overlooked dumpsters and a lot full of bathtubs being thrown away) and the hallways were curtained off. Not a huge deal, but I didn't see on their mobile site it was in renovation status and may be an issue if you need to sleep in. Check in was quick, although they didn't acknowledge Marrio... The only reason I am not rating a 5 would be just a couple things: 1. The fitness room is attached and shares an entry with the indoor pool. So it is extremely humid! Also you have the traffic from the pool guests coming in and out. So if you are trying to use weights or floor space it can be a bit clustery. 2. It's just a bit outdated and could use an overhaul of the lobby and common areas. 3. The mattresses seemed to be cheapest possible for this status of hotel. I could squeeze the corner of ... We recently booked this hotel for several nights but only stayed one. It desperately needs a makeover and according to the staff, it is getting one soon. The staff was very nice and understood why we checked out early. The rooms and bathrooms are very dated. The sofa in our room had a huge spot on it, even though the rooms are non smoking, ours had a stale old smell too it. The toilet seat was worn down to the finish. When I sat on the side of the bed, the mattress literally sank to the box spri... Read more

Being from the east coast I'm still trying to figure out how the "Cincinnati" Marriott is located in Mason, 30 miles from the city... The hotel is ok. Staff very friendly and helpful. Has a bar / restaurant that's decent. Here on business and conference rooms were good. This hotel has a pool and work out area. Hotel going through some renovations. Rooms were standard. Was woken up early in morning by what sounded like a whistling / screaming teapot. Guess it was just other guests using ... Read more

Stayed with family for a party. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. Price was reasonable. Checkin was smooth and friendly. The meeting rooms are nice. Towels and toiletries were good. Pool looks nice but didn't use it. Easy to get to from the freeway.

This is at least our fourth (if not more) year staying at this hotel during the Western and Southern Open Master's Tennis Tournament. What a disappointment so far this year (our first of three nights here this week). Much has changed, and it's not been in a good way... First, I'm surprised that for such a HUGE event, management didn't arrange to have renovations completed in the 51 weeks between last year's tennis tourney and this year's tourney. Western and Southern contracts with this hote... Read more

We recently stayed at this Marriott for the Western & Southern Tennis Tournament and had a wonderful time. From the moment we checked in at the front desk, and through the 3 nights we were there, every member of the staff went out of his way to be courteous and accommodating . Stayed here for the W&S Open. It was very close to the venue (no need to get on highway) and the staff seemed well-prepared for visitors for that event. Renovations have begun which is a good thing as the Marriott-brand style is a bit dated. We were one floor below but not bothered at all by noise. The room was fine; large and clean with everything you need and expect in a Marriott. Health center was good. Indoor and outdoor pools welcome in the heat. They kept the concierge lounge open... We checked in to a nice, big corner room, settled in for a nap....Only to be disturbed by a mechanical malfunction of the fire alarm system. And of course, only on our floor. Moved to a smaller but clean room. Currently they're clean, not run down, and overall what you'd hope from a Marriott. Small, but manageable. Nothing to complain about, nothing to give exuberant praise to either. Lobby is pleasant, nice fountain to drown out ambient noise. Close to lots of restaurants and the amusement park... Read more

If you want first class customer service this is the place to stay. They really make you feel special. I am not sure how much they pay Mr. Chris Cunningham at the front desk but I am sure it is not enough. He made my stay perfect and my family could not have had a better time. They have nice indoor and outdoor pools for the kids and it looks like they are getting their rooms remodeled to make it even better.

This location is currently under renovation so be cautious of that. Nevertheless, this is a great hotel and we had a great time staying here for a night in August! The grounds for this hotel are nice with a big open lobby to relax in or to visit the bar/restaurant. The front desk staff was very nice and helped out when we forgot a razor and toothpaste at home without any kind of hesitation. We came to town for a wedding and were thoroughly unimpressed. Basically the people that own this place have screwed their employees - the people who worked there were so nice and accommodating but were tasked with selling hotel rooms that should not have been sold until after the renovations. Our room was far below our expectations and when we called to see if an updated room were available we were told the hotel was booked (Sat. night in Sept.). Even though, we were using Marriott points,... Read more

Stayed here for a night this week and was in one of the newly remodeled rooms which was very modern and comfortable. You should be aware, however, there is still construction at the hotel. Looks like there are a couple floors that are under pretty significant remodeling. Executive lounge is average. Hotel is very conveniently located off I-71 with a lot of surrounding development. Area seems very walker/jogger unfriendly. Lots of traffic with limited cross walks or pedestrian access.
