I confess that I am a fan of SpringHill Suites to begin with (I like the room setup), but this particular hotel deserves a shout out. The hotel is newly renovated (looks aharp!) and the staff is amazingly warm and friendly...very attentive to any questions or concerns. The entire hotel is always spotless. Key for me is that the breakfast buffet is well maintained (clean, refilled regularly) in the mornings with a great offering of hot foods (e.g. eggs, sausage, oatmeal), baked goods, fresh fr... The WORST night's sleep we have had for a long time. We booked with our reward points and reserved a queen size bed. - Check-in was good. Quick and very friendly. - Dropped our bags in the room because we were running late to the party we were in town for. Appeared clean and up-to-date. - Returned about 1 am and crawled into bed... A FULL size bed. (Didn't realize this earlier since we were in a hurry.) - Bed "jiggled" with every single movement... Not just a little but a lot. The bed was incre... Read more

Just stayed here (April 2016) for a soccer tournament. Nice hotel in a quiet part of town. The staff was great; only complaint was that housekeeping came to our room the first morning while we were still IN the room; then never came back. Essentially skipped us. That being the case, the room was very clean to begin with and we slept like zombies. (I made sure to NOT have the door hanger on, too.) I just got towels etc. from the desk. Breakfast was excellent, and they let us use a back ... Read more

Nice facility with plenty of room for lobby meeting with others. Rooms spacious and well lit. Enjoyed the stay. Most impressed with the staff--heather and Amy went out of their way to help us with restaurants and room accommodations.

Off the beaten path and a welcomed site after a long drive. Was excited that my room was clean and the folks were super friendly. Room was spacious and lighting was on point and enjoyed our stay. My complaint was that I had to wait so long to check in with a sleepy toddler. There was only one person at the front desk and she was engaged in 'hooking up' a room for either another employee who was staying the night or a friend. Either way, it sucked and I was annoyed.

This is the 3rd time I have had my team stay this location for our annual training. The staff is always very friendly and routinely go out of their way to accommodate any requests that we may have. Special thanks go out to Tara and Amy who were working the front desk during our stay. Very friendly and went out of their way several times to meet our needs. Also, Megan Stephens the area sales director did an outstanding job working with me for several months to ensure our stay went off without an... Read more

Regular dependable hotel chain of Marriott. We love their attention to detail as their rooms are clean and well furnished. They had coffee early in the morning. The airport shuttle was perfect at 6:30 am. Will definitely recommend staying here. The kitchenette was perfect for us as it had a small fridge and a microwave. They even had paper plates and napkins. They are pretty close to a number of restaurants and take out places.

Having been a Marriott member for many years I've stayed at properties all over the world and unfortunately had a repeated bad experience as they had water damage throughout the Hotel on the ground level. Last year it was the entire lobby area. Given the Hotel is very conveniently located to where my business was I "grinded" out my stay as I was lucky enough to be on a higher floor that was not damaged. It may have been my own paranoia but the lobby did have a "musty" smell and they were runn... Read more

We have stayed here at least 5 if not more times, on our way to other destinations. We find CMH departures to be among the best for us, for various reasons. And, we are Mariott reward members, so we look for affiliates. The staff here is very welcoming, they say they remember us (which is nice if true), and it is so convenient in every way. They have always attended to any requests we have, and the rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is a very convenient living area with amenities... Read more

I have stayed here for months in the past year they have a very welcoming staff if there is a blip in your stay they are very accommodating to get it fixed right away. Aimee and the rest of the girls at the front desk are wonderful. Mary one of the managers is a breath of fresh air and Kelly the General manager always has her fingers on the pulse of things and make sure that everything gets taken care of if there is an issue. It is a small hotel but I stay there all the time and a great location... Read more

I've stayed in hundreds of Marriott's across the country, Springhills happen to be my favorite brand. While the hotel is a little older than your typical Springhill it's well run and a comfortable place to spend a couple of nights. As a nice touch upon checking in we were recognized as Plat's and then given a bottle of wine. There is a really good barbecue place (Hickory House) right across the street, honestly I'm not telling you how many times I ate there over three days and two nights. I did... Read more

I stayed at the SpringHill Suites last week and it was a great experience! I was greeted upon arrival and my room was ready. It was very helpful to have a list of restaurants at the front desk in the area and the staff was able to make a recommendation based on my preference. The room was clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the amount of "living" space versus only sleeping space like other places. The breakfast was wonderful. A great selection of foods and did not feel rushed.

Booked this hotel through Priceline, so price was right. Front office staff very pleasant. Upon arrival, a millipede and a silverfish both crawled out of our bedding. The pullout bed would not fit with the TV so we had to move furniture. Highway traffic all night long. Pool had no water in it. I was too tired to change hotels so I slept with my clothes and shoes on . I didn't even attempt breakfast. Not a 3 star hotel.

Booked via an online service. Got a great rate and was pleasantly surprised with the property that was offered. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly desk staff and were promptly checked-in and set out for our room. When we exited the elevator onto the 3rd floor it was like walking into a different hotel. The hallway was dim, the walls were drab and the carpet was dirty and worn. The room was in very poor shape, too. Very run down and out of date. The bed was comfortable and we w... Read more

The Hotel itself is very nice. Very comfortable and clean rooms. The housekeeping came late in day which is the only thing is disliked, we came back from our game and it was not done. The breakfast was good they had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, muffins, cereal, fruit and drinks... Very friendly front desk staff....nice place and would recommend it.

Desk staff very good and quick. and pool very clean. Showers a little outdated but functional and clean. I stayed out til 2 AM so I missed the buffet Rooms aren't huge but they are modern, comfy, and clean. HVAC fan is very quiet, too quiet for my taste actually.

This property is extremely well-kept. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are small refrigerators and microwaves in every room. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are promptly serviced daily. There are refreshments, including beers, in the lobby area, but no bar area or restaurant in the building. Except for the Hickory House across the street, you have to drive to get to other restaurants in the area (which is why I rated this a 4 instead of a 5). With that said, a short drive n... Read more

The SpringHill is a convenient location for us. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is good and they do not allow pets. They are slightly higher priced but it could be due to the location or events going on is the area. We plan on staying again in August.

I stayed at this hotel several times over the course of a couple months and the service was consistently very good. The staff is very quick to address any concerns and made the effort to remember repeat guests and offer nice little perks. The rooms probably need to be updated soon as some have a musty smell and feel to them. The free breakfast has to be free because I can't see anyone paying for it, it is so bad. Ideally they would offer something more similar to their sister chain Residence Inn... Read more

This is my go to Hotel, Love Springhill Suites and quality that comes with Marriott brand. But this hotel is bad shape and NOT Marriott quality it all. The hotel is very worn. The first room had a bug and the second room the mattresses were stained. We left without staying. This Hotel is run by another company.

The rooms are nice size, the beds were comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The AC was only so so. It got too warm before it kicked on and then too cold before it stopped. It was also a little noisy. Overall it was a good value and I would stay there again.

Springhill is fairly new to my repertoire of hotel stays, though I have long been a platinum stayer with Marriott-- mostly Courtyard, sometimes full service Marriott, sometimes others. My first experience with Springhill Suites was on the tram line of the Atlanta Airport in 2015. I absolutely loved it. Spacious, super modern, simple, easy in easy out. I've stayed in two since then, neither of which I cared for much. Both this facility and the one I stayed at near the airport in Portland are a... Read more

When you think Marriott, you think nice hotel. Not so much here. We checked in through the mobile app but they did not know about that and didn't find the check-in even though we had an email confirmation of the check-in. Front desk was not that friendly or inviting, kept their head down at the computer most of the time. The carpets throughout the hotel are stained. The rooms are a bit small, we had the 2 double beds. The ADA room was large with a comfy king bed and both of us slept fine. The room was strangely laid out with a large open space right inside the door, which could easily accommodate a small table and chairs. There were 2 televisions in the room, close enough together that if you turned on one with the remote, both might respond. The fan light above the open space had left a black spotty ring on the ceiling above, which looked like dirt. the staff was friendly and courteous and check in was q... Read more

This is the first time my family has stayed in this area. We will definitely return to this location and hotel. The staff was great, and always had a smile or friendly greeting when coming through the lobby. Coffee, tea and cocoa are available 24 hours, and is good for hotel coffee. The rooms were large, layed-out well, and clean. Also, the rooms must be very sound proof or we were lucky enough not to have many guests around us. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Just spent the weekend here and it was a very nice stay. Packed hotel over the weekend but nice spacious suite room and very good breakfast (I appreciate the eggs and bacon or sausage of a hotel) and I really appreciate the coffee without being charged. Enjoyed the weekend.

Minutes from the airport means right next to the airport runways. Spent 2 nights for the US/Mexico game in town. Had a room facing the runways, which were, as expected noisy, but intermittent. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Didn't do breakfast. The area was conveniently right off the highway and had lots of places to eat/shop nearby.
