I have stayed at this property multiple times over the past year. Chelsea at the front desk went above and beyond during this last visit! We had an issue that she happily helped us with ( personal, nothing with the hotel) she also changed my room without an issue from the first floor to the second floor. Chelsea has been at the front desk on many occasions during our stays this past year. Chelsea is always friendly and helpful!

Most Homewood Suites offer a pretty good breakfast, but how about one where the head proprietor makes you waffles! Josh seems to know everybody - even me, and he always wants your stay to be special. One morning I saw him creating a waffle masterpiece with nuts, chocolate and whipped cream on top for his guests. And Debbie follows behind cleaning up the tables with a pleasant smile and morning wishes. Itâ??s that special interaction that makes you feel at home. They always welcome you when ... Read more

Having stayed in the area several times, I was mostly pleased with the Homewood suites Dayton-Fairborn. The Staff went out of their way to make my stay exceptional. Homewood Suites are always nice, but the service and people at this location are well above the norm. John O. from maintenance was wonderful. We stayed here this past weekend for a soccer tournament. There were lots of issues with our room and the rooms of others in our group. Overall, the hotel is in much need of an upgrade. In our wing, there was a musty smell both in the hall and in our room. There was mold in the bathroom and all over the shower curtain. When you stood in the shower, you felt as if you were going to fall through the bottom of the tub. Trash bags from rooms were in the hallways for long periods of time. Others in ... Read more

I booked this hotel because I was told that Fairborn would be a good home base for our two-day visit to the Wright Brothers sites and the USAF Museum. It was a great location for those sites. We were pleasantly surprised to have so much room for a fairly low price mid-week. My reservation was not registered. Fortunately i was able to get a room but the alleged non-smoking room reeked from stale smoke smell and the room location - on a lower level breeze way next to the parking lot - meant i heard people coming and going at all hours. The Suites at this Homewood are large and comfortable, and the staff are always very friendly. The lobby and dining area has recently undergone a significant makeover, and now has a cleaner, more modern look and feel. Breakfasts at this Homewood are always enjoyable. The workout room is small and is insufficient for a hotel this size, so perhaps the next remodel will enhance that room and maybe even allow the TVs on the machines to receive more than 2 stations.

Feels old. Thin walls. Location is good but I will use another prop. next time. Room seemed out dated. Hall carpet seems dirty or in need of deep cleaning. Overall not bad, but I stay at hotels every week. This one would be in the bottom half this year.

We stayed for 2 nights in 2 different suites, Both rooms were dark, beat up, and old and looked like they hadn't been updated since the '80's. Apparently, people are allowed to bring their dogs here, because we had barking dogs all night next door to us. The rooms were musty, dark, and damp. There were stains all over the carpets. Black mold and soft, brown, water damaged wood covered the bathroom doorways and base molding. The caulk in all the bathrooms was black with with mold. There was a lar... Read more

Travel is difficult at best. The staff at this Homewood Suites went the extra mile to provide service through a very busy weekend. The rooms were immaculate and the linens clean and smelled fresh. The kitchenette was adequately stocked and any missing item was quickly replaced. The grounds were well kept and there was plenty of room for the children to play. If you are there on business, consider an outside facing room. It is nice to have the view of the beautiful grounds, but beware of the nois... Read more

The hotel location is great! Close to shopping, the highway and food markets. The staff are exceptional and work hard to accommodate your needs. If you are in the area for CUS's homecoming this is a good place to stay.

Had to switch rooms 3 times in two days. Left early, I couldn't handle the cleanliness of rooms and the smoke smell. Rooms don't have a sound barrier, I heard people above me walking and etc. One room reeked of smoke. 3rd room toilet was Nasty and bugs in room.

If your looking for a pet friendly place to stay, this is your place. Otherwise, go someplace else. My room smelled of smoke and mildew. Walls and carpet were dirty. They allowed dogs in the breakfast area which I found very unappetizing. I've stayed in other Homewood Suites but this was my worst experience.

Spent the weekend in the area for hiking and a concert at the USAF museum. Homewood suites provided us a perfect base to explore the area's many nature trails and parks. The comfort and warmth of the suite was a perfect ending to a Autumn day.

i was here for a short business trip. I had an end room in the second floor. Other than the heavy-footed person above me, the room was extremely quiet, clean, and great in every way. Breakfast buffet was the usual eggs, cereal, breads, and juice, with a waffle bar. Yogurt and fresh fruit was also available. I would have preferred a bit better selection of fresh fruit, but I had plenty to eat with what was available.

Spent two weeks here while in town for training; can't say enough about Kayla who works behind the front desk, always had a smile on her face and was very help; many of the host staff for breakfast and evening reception were new, but very friendly and helpful. Several restaurants and bars close by and only takes a minute to jump on the highway to get anywhere in town. Looking forward to my next stay at this location.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, I did not expect to have the full amenities of a kitchen, I had brought a small cool with food expecting a small dorm fridge. The room was extremely comfortable and welcoming.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home while we were waiting for our adoption to finalize. They helped carried trays back to the room, supplied extra towels & toiletries when needed, and were always there with a friendly smile and a, "How is your stay going? Is there something we can do?"

Just spent 5 nights at the Homewood Suites in Dayton. This was the second time I stayed there. The room were very nice. Beds were comfortable. The service was outstanding. Our evening hostess was Ashley. She was pleasant and attentive every night. She really made our trip special. Our morning hostess was Debby. She was most pleasant and attentive as well. Ordinarily I would keep such a place a secret so as not to lessen my chance to get a room. But their super service deserves kudos. ... Read more
