The hotel is located right off the freeway. The room was clean. The bed was fine. The shower was good. The breakfast was very good. Hampton Inns are consistently good. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

the room was fine. it is in a high retail area off the freeway close to a lot of food and other restaurant options. staff was disinterested in me at check in. breakfast was poor quality and quantity. There are lots of other options to consider if you are staying in or near Dayton

Great location, nice room, comfortable beds, but the breakfast left much to be desired. Food was cold and chewy...expected more for the price of this room. They provide cookies on weekdays...but nothing on weekends....addition of that would be nice touch.

our grandson dropped our car keys down the elevator shaft. Front desk staff immediately got a plan, and they safely got them for us and they were in our room when we returned from soccer game. They were willing to call elevator company if needed. All on Memorial day weekend. GREAT SERVICE. BEST FREE BREAKFAST EVER. Hotel booked with socccer teams but they had abundance of food. They didnt run out of anything. walking distane to lots snd lots of great restaurants. THANKS HAMPTON.

This is a well-run hotel, with good staff, decent rooms, better-than-average breakfast. In general, Hampton Inns are fairly expensive, and this Dayton property is no exception. But I have one major problem with all Hampton Inns. For a hefty room price, you get two lousy paper cups in the room. It may sound picky, but it's enough to keep me away when I have other choices.

Worked out well for what we needed . Was close to the airport and the directions provided were adequate after a very long day of flying. The only small issue was there was no one to greet us at the desk when we arrived in the early morning hours and we had to wait about 10min for someone to return to the desk.

You have to stay here if you are going to the Dayton Air Show. It is only 10-15 minutes away and you will find many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself in new and everything is in excellent condition. My wife and I were in room 421 and it is large and comfy. Everything new and very clean. I will book the room for the 2017 Dayton Air Show.

I consistently stay at the Hampton Inn chain because I know what to expect. I know the quality of the service and the rooms. I have stayed at a number of Hamptons and this one is just as good as all the others. The rooms are clean, fresh towels and comfortable bed. The pool was inside and I prefer outside pools, but that is just me. I would stay at this location again if I am ever in the area/

This Hampton does not live up to the brand standard. No water on check in. No follow up. The beds/mattresses are either outdated or not typical of the brand. Powdered eggs for breakfast! Really? Their are several other hotel options in this area. I will chose differently next time I visit.

I stayed in this hotel twice during my travels, going up to Michigan and then again back to Florida. I found it to be above average. I felt very welcome, especially the first visit when C/Katherine was on duty. She was very helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and quiet which are my two priorities. I also enjoyed the Fitness center and had I stayed longer, the inside pool.

The room was ok for one night - clean, nice layout, water pressure was low, could hear all the noise around the room, biggest issue was the bed - hard as a rock. Breakfast was standard, staff was really friendly. Biggest issue was the bed - I couldn't sleep there more than a night.

Stopped here for a quick overnighter on our drive from NY State to Colorado. Beds were comfortable, staff was pleasant, all in all a very nice experience. We did not hae occasion to make use of the pool or free breakfast, so can't comment on that.

The hotel was extremely nice and comfortable but...too damn noisey to be able to sleep. Even after contacting the front traveling partner was across the hall and we both had the same complaint. Running, walking, slamming doors and overall noise all night long prohibited a good night's sleep.

I've stayed here before and always had a good experience. This time my experience was poor. They said breakfast was served til 10am but by 9am the food was either gone or cold with no way to heat it up except in your room. They only had one person working in the kitchen feeding over 50 people. They could not keep up with the demand of the crowd. We booked this hotel because of a short trip to Dayton from Columbus - the Boonshoft Museum was great for our 4 year old! Liked the suite, room was nice - sofa bed was good for our daughter; king bed worked for mom & dad. Booked specifically b/c there was a pool - closed! Arrangements were made with a hotel across the street to use their pool - not good enough. We wouldn't have booked if we knew the in-house pool was closed. My husband and I stayed here one night. Room 204. We had a pleasant stay. The beds were comfy. The room was exceptionally clean. Breakfast had many choices and the breakfast area was kept clean. Toilet didn't flush, there was no water in the pool and the fire alarm went off at 3am. It was a false alarm that kept all of the guests in the parking lot for over a half of an hour. Unfortunate stay. Was looking forward to the free breakfast in the morning, and a family of 54 took the waffle maker hostage the entire morning. My experience with other Hampton Inn's have always been very good though.

Facility is clean and staff is friendly and courteous. If you are going to be using both beds in your room, be sure to ask for an extra blanket, because there is only one provided to a room and the coverlets on the beds are too heavy for sleeping.

Hampton Inns are all the same basic layout, but this can be of benefit as you know what to expect and you usually get it. Decent size rooms, friendly staff, good condition, some form of pool / fitness room, decent Wi-Fi, well maintained, plenty of parking, somewhere to eat nearby. This is exactly what we got here, no issues and just across the road was an O'Charleys and we ended up eating there 3 nights, pretty good. Would stay again.

The property is a bit dated in some ways. The room we were in simply didn't have the necessary plugs, etc. that users of Iphones, Ipads, computers, etc. need. The TV guide to channels was not working. Additionally, we could hear children running, wrestling, whatever in the room right above ours. (If they weren't children, they were very rambunctious adults!) But, on the other hand, it is conveniently located--close to lots of places to eat--and close to both interstates. And the staff... First, I am giving this a three for one reason and one reason only.... the GM who is attempting to run the hotel. He went above and beyond, but that took some time to happen. We stayed over July 4th weekend. When we got there, we were informed that the pool was closed. We were also told that we did not get a room on the top floor as requested. After checking in we discovered that the pool was closed. We were going to be spending time outside in the heat, so this wasn't a minor thing and we weren't informed in advance. We had two rooms and one of the rooms had a door that was practically falling off the hinges. They did send someone to fix it, but mentioned their maintenance person had just quit. When you travel exclusively with Hampton Inns, you get to know them as family. We've stayed in over 30 in two countries. This one in Dayton is undergoing a renovation to spruce it up, so we get to deal with work-arounds. That's OK. Not a problem. Our room was clean, but we had to deal with a desk lamp that didn't work.
