Check in time is not until 4 PM which was inconvenient as I was there for a training which started at 10 AM with a 2 HR window, (12:30-3:30) break/lunch. It would have been nice to be able to check in and freshen up or take a quick nap before the next session began.

Expensive room to be put right off the lobby. Heavy blinds wouldn't shut, so no privacy, given the room's window faced the patio area residents gathered in at all hours to drink. Room was bland for $200/night. Won't stay here again.

We decided to stay there at the last minute, and we got a room with 2 double beds instead of the queen or king we usually get, and it was on the first floor down a long corridor and around a corner. Apparently it was the LAST room in the hotel. We found out later that there was a huge convention of undercover cops. We will definitely be back.

I love and enjoy staying at The DoubleTree normally and would recommend it to others to stay there. This stay was terrible only because of the neglect pf parents to control their children by playing in the hall ways and continuously knocking on doors and the poor service of the maintenance guy. Other than that I give The DoubleTree and 1005 thumbs up and I will continue to frequent The DoubleTree.

Breakfast is fresh and one of the best at any hotel. Smoked salmon was a pleasant surprise. Omelet station was awesome. Front desk team very professional and attentive.

My overall experience was fine. The hotel staff was attentive and friendly. All public areas were clean and well kept. Our room was also clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the musty damp smell in the room. Fine for a night or two. I wouldn't choose it as a long term hotel though.

I have always love the Doubletree Hotel experience but this facility was by far my least favorite. It could definitely use some renovations. There is a lot of mold in the showers, fixtures are outdated, pillows were bad quality with no fluff. It is in an excellent location but I would select another hotel and pay a little bit more due to these factors. It also took an extremely long time for me to check in as the attendant was doing so many other tasks which left me waiting at least 10-15 minute... Read more

Stayed in room 434. Ceiling in bathroom over toilet had been repaired but not painted. Obvious mold on inside of shower curtain. Used wash cloth by previous guest left on the shower rod. Picture in bathroom had chipped frame and mat on picture suffered water damage at some earlier time. Just seemed to indicate a lack of care by staff. So what else was wrong that I couldn't see? We booked this hotel from Hotwire, needing a place that was central to both Gahanna and Powell. My husband and I were definitely pleased with our stay. Great, easy access to the highway (although there is a fair amount of construction, but nothing the hotel can help!) with LOTS of restaurants and stores in very close proximity. This is an older hotel with more dated rooms but the service at this Doubletree far exceeds other Doubletrees I have visited. The night I arrived there was a reception with snacks and beverages. There is a bar and restaurant onsite and the breakfast was good - the omelets were great. All around this was a very nice stay and very reasonably priced.

I stayed here for the Boomers in Groups Conference. My experience was good but I did see some things that could be improved. The conference had a tradeshow. It was set with small cocktail tables which were so wobbly that the planners had to hold them or they would tip over. I saw the BIG staff trying to shim them up and no hotel people assisting on the first day. On the second day, after the tables had been fixed, I did see a hotel person. Otherwise the hotel took care of the guests and I w... Read more

If you have to be away from home for business at a reasonable rate and receive great care this is the place to come. Staff always polite and make you feel welcome. Great coffee and the welcome cookies always appreciated.

I stayed for a business conference. The guestroom was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious with lots of counter space, but they could really use a bath exhaust to reduce moisture. Tub/shower had mold. My biggest issue was food service. After a long day of meetings a group of us decided to eat in hotel. It took over 2 hours to get everyone served. The manager comped our meals which was very nice but they really need to look at staffing for dinner service. On a bright note the b... Read more

We were very, very impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient (also got a free cookie!). Room was clean and satisfactory. Utilized the fitness center - clean and well stocked.

Directions can be a little confusing, but there is a lot to do close by. They were doing renovations when we stayed, but the indoor pool was nice. We were there for a convention and the function space was well thought out.

The rooms were large and comfortable with a generous bathroom. The staff were extremely courteous and went out of their way to deal with any issues that arose promptly. Dining facilities are reasonably priced and the food tasty and the breakfast is generous enough to allow you to skip lunch.

We have stayed at the Hilton Double Tree - Worthington/Columbus, Ohio several times and have always enjoyed our stays there. It is a great location for activities in north suburban Columbus and especially Worthington. We have always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and efficient. We have never experienced any problems with this property at all, and we will certainly stay there again.

I'm actually shocked that this hotel has such great reviews so maybe my experience was just a one off. I choose this hotel over others in the area because I figured it was owned by Hilton and would live up to the Hilton named. I was disappointed from the second I entered my room. The room felt dirty from the second I walked in. (I stayed at a Comfort Inn last weekend that was way nicer than this hotel). My room was dusty. There was still residue in the bathtub that I cleaned out myself. It is a ... Read more

We stayed at the hotel over Thanksgiving. Understandably the hotel had minimum staffing over the holiday to allow employees to be with family. However, there is no excuse for no service. We left the hotel about 11:30 am and returned at 7 pm to find our room in the same condition we left it - dirty towels and trash in the tiny trash cans. This even though my wife talked personally to the housekeeper to ask her to please make up the room. The front desk was quick to replenish the towels after... Read more

The hotel is quiet and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot to offer and the coffee was hot and rich. The bar is well stock and the dinner menu had enough to satisfy most plates. I would recommend this hotel for short or long stays.

Spacious rooms. Quiet, comfortable stay. Great location for being able to shop or to catch the COTA bus service to OSU campus/games. Staff is efficient and friendly. Coffee makers, small fridge, and microwave in the room almost make up for the absence of a complimentary breakfast.

The lights were not working in the bathroom...after complaining, nothing was done, or at least it mat have been fixed by the cleaning staff as the repair was not done. Who really needs lights in the bathroom anyway. The worst part was the attitude that I received when I was told that it would be fixed and when I reminded them that I already was told it would be fixed....

If you are looking for a convenient hotel in the Columbus area with great staff and nice rooms, this is the hotel. The breakfast was an A plus and the omelet chef very entertaining. All good from check in to check out
