This welcoming hotel and friendly staff impressed us from the moment we arrived, until our departure. Typical of Marriott's, this was well run, they know how to meet the needs of their clients, and just go above the expected. From the shuttle to the 24 hour concierge lounge, to the fitness center and Grill restaurant, we were comfortable and cared for. 5 minutes from the airport, so convenient for flyers, too.

Coming to Columbus, Ohio just got better. Staying at Marriott properties always comes with high expectations and that is why I am loyal to the brand. The staff was excellent especially Andre in the concierge lounge. The front desk staff was helpful as well. The food was amazing, great ribs. Made a the end of a long eight hour drive very pleasant. The rooms were spacious. Very clean.

We booked this for a 1 night stay for a early morning flight at CMH. When we pulled up my daughter commented that from the outside it did not look very good. I had done my research and the pictures and reviews I found seemed favorable. Upon checking in and viewing the property it's obvious that the renovation budget must have concentrated on the interior. We went to eat at the river city grille at this hotel and it was great. Cathy did a wonderful job as our waitress. We really enjoyed our visit and the hospitality was great and made us all feel very welcomed. Looking forward to our next trip up here for our next sales meeting

The hotel was nice, but the service was amazing! Everyone was lovely and our server Cathy was so helpful and sweet, she made our whole stay 10x better. Thank you so much Cathy! We travelled in a really big group with teens, but the staff was still very nice and Cathy especially was so helpful with our meals and any questions we had. They changed the wifi password to our sport! It was a really nice personal touch.

We came to town for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has clearly undergone recent renovations and they are very nice (rain shower head and updated bathrooms in our room). A solid gym and wonderful lounge for Marriott Rewards members. Dre in the lounge went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this property as it checks all the boxes!

I would love to give this a better rating because I'm a Marriott person. The rooms are great and I was actually upgraded because I'm a platinum member so my room was great. However when I went to the restaurant/bar my service probably worst ever at Marriott and my food was not that great and again the server was horrible. I have stayed at this hotel several times, with no complaints. Bad weather caused a flight cancellation and the hotel refused to let me cancel the reservation. I was quite shocked by the cavalier attitude by the young man on the front desk staff (not polite either). On the advice of a co-worker I called Marriott (but not the hotel). Thankfully they forced the hotel to refund my money. Not a good experience for a Marriott gold customer!

I stayed here for months when I was working in Colombus, Ohio in 2015. It's a pretty decent hotel for what's considered an 'Airport hotel'. The staff were lovely, hotel was well kept and the rooms were always super clean. The only gripe I had was they always played Fox News in the conceiage lounge :)

We were in Ohio for a funeral. We opted to stay close to the airport the night before our departure since we had an early morning flight. Lobby and interior of the hotel exude a warm or welcoming atmosphere with the indoor plants. The service was fast from the check in, room service to the airport shuttle service. Room service food tasted good, better than expected. Wifi is free for Marriott (rewards) member.

This is a nice older property but has been updated and is very comfortable. Rooms are well equipped, with a nice concierge lounge, and a Starbucks in the lobby. Restaurant food was good, but service was a little off. Didn't use exercise room etc. All in all nice spot for a quick stay.

We spent the weekend here for a wedding and had a very good experience. The hotel staff is VERY accommodating. We had lunch at the River City Cafe and were pleasantly surprised when the chef, Ernest, made a vegetarian pizza for the buffet since someone in our party was vegetarian. That was a nice surprise. After several delays, our flight was finally cancelled and as of 10:30 pm, we were able to book rooms at the Marriot - frankly I've never experience such compassionate customer service - at 11:00 pm for a team who never originally planned on booking until their flights were cancelled - only to leave the very next morning. Great service at Marriott since Embassy Suites next door messed up our reservation. We turned lemon into lemonade at Marriott. My baby had a delicious desert at the lounge since she is a Platinum Member.

Visiting my son who interning in Upper Arlington. I wanted a full service Marriott and selected this one. Great choice on my part! I was picked up by the shuttle in a very timely fashion and the driver took my bag and opened the door for me. At the hotel, I was greeted by a very nice, very bubbly associate Ariel. This was the first time in the area & staying @ this hotel. Very welcoming.clean, rooms are nice. We added club lounge & it was nice to have a treat in between meals. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately no poolū??? Close to downtown.

Place was packed the night we checked in, yet were given the room we reserved. I like that the hotel offers free parking as it seems that many near an airport will not. As a Gold Marriott Rewards member, breakfast was complimentary in the hotel's new M Lounge. Some hot sausage biscuit sandwiches with egg/cheese. Sliced breads, English Muffins & a "very berry" muffin. Juices, coffee, soda, waters. Would stay again if in area.

Stopped here for a night on the way to Gettysburg. Beautiful property, great big suite and as a gold elite member, we got access to the M lounge included in the rate. I highly recommend the lounge. Water, coffee, soda, breakfast, light dinner, tvs 24/7. A great place to relax. This is a lovely property, and I am glad we stayed.

Not much can beat the Marriott bed. The Embassy Suites down the road is newer and nice, but well above the price of the Marriott. We think this is one of the nicer hotels close to the airport. It's older, but has been pretty well maintained. They also offer free airport shuttle and have cheap parking too if you're flying somewhere.

Got stuck at Columbus airport due to bad weather. I managed to get into this hotel. A little bit on the expensive side but it did the job. The room was a little on the worn side for a Marriott. There is food nearby if your on foot. The best bit was the shuttle bus which was very efficient.

Southwest cancelled my flight and I was stranded figuring out what to do at 5:30am. I made my reservation and called, Lee Dratch answered the phone, got my shuttle and somehow was able to get me checked into my room at 6am. So, let me first say I did not stay at this hotel. But the staff here, particularly AJ, the shuttle driver went out of his way to provide assistance to me, and his excellent customer service was some of the best I've seen in years. I travel frequently for business and spent 6+ hours at the airport/cancelled flight this past week and eventually made my way to the shuttle area to catch my hotel shuttle. I spent four nights at this Marriott for business. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The servers at the breakfast restaurant were very solicitous. Rooms were quite modern, well-designed, and comfortable. The bathrooms were particularly well-designed with lots of counter space. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel was very quiet. The hotel has a terrific lobby area whether you're here on business or a personal trip. Places to plug in and work or nice groupings to meet friends or business associates. Restaurant and bar area offer good food and drink choices. The gym is great!!!! Plenty of equipment to get s good workout. Ended up staying here after a booked hotel was a failure. Great staff, helpful and truly saved the night. Everyone from check in, shuttle driver and check out was good. No complaint! Shuttle driver was helpful at a late night dinner hunt. Again, saved what could have been a long night!

We come up to Ohio for one weekend every fall to attend an OSU football game and we always stay at this hotel. It is clean, conveniently located, and the staff here are among the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered anywhere. I have to complement the staff at this Marriott. I was waiting to check in and the desk person was on the phone with a confused customer. This went on for about a minute-not that long really-and the clerk apologized profusely and gave me a free card to the MLounge. A very nice, touch. I stayed here for one night while in Columbus on business. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The M Lounge was very comfortable with wonderful staff. The rooms were nicely appointed with modern showers. The transfers to/from the airport were very convenient and easy. I ate one meal at the restaurant in the hotel, and actually ate at the buffet, which was surprisingly very good. Overall, I will absolutely stay here again if I travel to Columbus on business.

There's just something about a Marriott bed that the lower end chains inside & outside the Marriott family just can't match.
