If you want to be in the center of all the action, near freeway access, and be cared for by a great staff, stay here!!! We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again and again. Little Italy and West Side Market take only minutes when driving from the hotel, and sporting events are in walking distance!

Convenient location to downtown activities if able to walk the distances. Staff was courteous and the room was fine. Overnight parking fee was excessive for hotel guests in this city. Great cookies and beverages available in the lobby. Easy check in and depart processes. Reminder of eservation in email and text.

The staff and managers are very nice and friendly. Location to the stadium and arena is excellent. They provide a shuttle to downtown, only a few minutes away. They have a lot of room and space for those looking for small or large party meetings and events. Although they are nice and kept up, they are planning a renovation starting this fall that will keep them looking great. I enjoyed my brief stay.

Centrally located hotel within easy driving/walking distance of places we wanted to go. Lots of local restaurants and close to Progressive Field. A parking lot is also attached. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a nice indoor pool, and cookies and beverages are available in the lobby late in the afternoon. The buffet breakfast was a little pricey, but offered everything you could possibly want.

We stayed at this property for 1 night while on vacation. Attended an Indians game and the walk to the stadium is about 1/2 block. The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. Nice pool and hot tub on the 1st floor. Self parking is $18 and you can come and go (you use your room key to get in/out of the lot). The one thing that this property needs to improve are the beds. They are dated. Saggy and squeaky. Other than that, all is well!

Hotel is located perfectly for the sports fan. We were visiting Cleveland to complete #13 of the MLB stadiums. It's on our bucket list to attend a game in each of the active stadiums. Since we were in town, we also fulfilled another item on our bucket list, visiting the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel was amazing. Accommodating staff, clean and well appointed rooms, a great bar with good pub grub, for after the game. all-in-all, a wonderful experience, and we will return.

All staff we met were courteous and helpful... you can tell its important to everyone who works there. We walked to the Cleveland Indians game and felt very safe. Hotel itself may be a little old, but the staff more than made up for it. We will be back!

The rooms are large, very clean and quiet. The location is convenient if you are going to a ball game. Not a good choice to just spend the night on a road trip. You are paying for the downtown, close to Progressive Field location. The Residence Inn & Radison are nicer, but lack the convenient parking. Both of those have parking, but not as convenient. The Hilton does charge to park (+/- $20).

I have stayed at a number of HGIs over the years and this one is pretty average. It seemed a little older in a number of ways, i.e. this was the smallest/worst hotel gym I have seen in quite some time. The location is terrific for baseball games -- directly across the street and basketball games -- just on other side of baseball stadium. Walking home late at night after basketball game the gas station next door seemed a little sketchy so would be careful walking around. I used points but tho... Read more

My "adjustable bed" was broken and felt like I was sleeping in a hammock all night long (or rather attempted to sleep). When reporting this first thing in the morning I was simply offered to move to another room. No discount or refund was offered. I didn't think it was worth the price. They need to make an attempt to keep their customers quiet in the hallways late at night. It was difficult to sleep with all the hallway traffic. Parking is 18 dollars and that's to much. Everything else was okay.

My daughter and I enjoy the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Cleveland so much it is like coming home after a long trip. Everyone is always to friendly and helpful no matter what we need. The whole hotel is always clean and comfortable from your rooms to the pool and fitness area. You can't beat the breakfast. Can't wait to go back.

Price and location are great! Across the street from the baseball and basketball stadiums. 20-25 minute walk to football stadium/rock n' roll museum. Restaurants nearby and right off the highway. Beds are very comfy and rooms are clean. It will be going under renovation this winter and it needs it. In our room by the window/ceiling there was black spots, not sure if it is mold or just the glue from the wallpaper is now dirty but we did not complain.

The trip was for medical reasons. We enjoyed our stay as much as possible. However, they charged us for room device we did not use and at checkout we asked for a taxi they instead sent us an expensive car service and we had to use it because we had to get to the airport

I stayed at the Cleveland Hilton Garden Inn on Monday, October 10, 2016. The parking was nice - same level as lobby. The hotel was easy to find and very accessible. We were able to walk to dinner. The room was clean, and the pillows delightful!

The room was run down, dirty sheets and ugly carpet. Looked like a condemned super 8. The staff was impressively useless in all my concerns, breakfast staff charges whatever they feel like arbitrarily. I wouldn't send your ex mother in law here

We loved Cleveland. We are Boston fans and went to see two Sox games and the Patriots play. No car needed! The stadiums are in walking distance. The people are friendly and all amenities are so much cheaper than in Boston. The Hilton was great. Two criticisms: when you enter the fried food smell might blow you away and our TV cut out every 5 minutes... annoying when watching sports. Otherwise loved it!!!

We booked 2 rooms to go to an Indians post season game. The rooms were not cheap, but we liked the proximity to Progressive Field. You really can't beat the location if you are going to a ball game.. 5 minute walk. Parking was convenient, they charged us around $20. Check in time was 3:00 pm. There was a very long line, and our game started at 4, so after a long drive we just wanted to get to our room and freshen up and leave. We were told that because there had been a game the night before, a... Read more

I was here for a. Usiness trip and had 9 other co-workers with me. The staff was very friendly and the hotel for the most part was really clean. I had a nice view of Progressive Field and was able to walk to several places for dinner. The value for the room was great, especially with the group rate. My room was very quiet, but a few of my co-workers that faced the freeway did say you could hear it at night. I would stay here again though!

Everything we did was within a 20 minute drive. Hotel was clean, welcoming. Will definitely stay here again on future trips! Would have liked drapes to close fully, rather than the decorative drapes. First layer of drapes didn't quite cut it.

The hotel is downtown and close to almost everything. I go to the Cleveland Clinic every months. We drive 6 hours the day before and come home the day off. In Nov 2016 they will be staring a major remodel. it does need it. However the place is super clean due to the pride in the staff. Speaking of staff, WOW is all I can say. Everyone I met was professional, outgoing with a desire to please and help you. I am in a wheelchair and my wife was pushing me and I was pushing the luggage cart. An ... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because it was pretty close to the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame. When we arrived we found it was very close to many other venues: Progressive Stadium, The Cleveland Browns stadium, the casino all within walking distance. Approximately 1 to 2 miles. The room was very clean, the staff at the desk and in the breakfast area were very nice, attentive, considerate and helpful.

My boyfriend and I came from Virginia and are about to finish our almost 2 week stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown and it was AMAZING!!! We have stayed in Cleveland for years at various hotels and this one clearly stands tall above the rest! It started out with Matt at the front desk, he was so nice in helping us check in early and throughout our stay he went above and beyond to accommodate some difficult requests we had which included adding reservations together and adding n... Chef' breakfast was a treat, attentive waiters, desk staff was great, convenient bar/restaurant inside the hotel, good bartender. There are daily fees for parking $18+ & breakfast $12+. We thought that the hotel was well priced and very conveniently located within steps of Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena. Our hotel was close to all the attractions that we wanted to visit. Parking was easy although it is $18 per day. The hotel is about one mile from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Directly next to the baseball stadium. Not many places to eat near the hotel so we drove to some local eateries that were great. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean as is the standard with Hilton.

I spent 4 nights here in September, and found the hotel room to be adequate, although the AC units were old and noisy, compared to other hotels I've stayed in. What was great about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff, the courtesy van for drop offs and pick ups down town, and its proximity to the sports fields and attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
