Stayed here because of its proximity to the Cleveland Clinic. They do offer a shuttle to the clinic every 30 minutes in the morning, hourly after 1 p.m. Must give the staff kudos, they must have taken their smiley pills that day, because they were very friendly and eager to make you feel welcome. We paid a premium for a suite on a high floor. The wheels came off the wagon when we could not get one light to come on in the bedroom. I dropped something on the floor near the bed and when I looked fo... Read more

Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Cleveland Clinic or University Circle. Staff is wonderful, accommodations are very comfortable and rooms are decorated very nicely. Hilton took great care in allowing the beauty of the building shine through when they redecorated this beautiful old building. I just cannot say enough about the friendly staff, every single person exemplified Hilton's Mission Statement, how wonderful!

I stayed here Feb 15, 2016 for several nights. The whole time I experienced very poor management and services. The hotel had just had a water line break on the fourth floor a few days before and were still cleaning up (via independent contractor). 1. I am handicapped and was staying at this hotel due to it's nearness to the Cleveland Clinic. All on-street parking adjacent to the hotel is "reserved" for valet parking ONLY. Super friendly and helpful staff, and a comfortable, spacious room made this a great choice for a couple days in Cleveland's arts district. Easy to walk to the Art Museum, concert hall and botanical gardens, and the hotel has a free shuttle service to AND from these locations! The walk routes were often through lovely parks. We have stayed at this hotel before and will continue to choose it in the future. *The beds are comfortable, there are many pillows, the room and hotel is always clean. *The bathroom is small and doesn't have a lot of counter space, but it's clean, the towels are nice, and the shower pressure is great. *I didn't hear any outside or inside noise, even though we were at the end of a hallway. *The King room does not have a fridge, but you can request one from the front desk. We stayed at the Tudor Arms for 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Valet parking was $20/night and worth it due to the construction nightmare around the hotel. This hotel is far from downtown, but $5 buys you a bus ticket for the entire day.

I spent a night in a king room. This hotel has charm and history but with a modern flair. The hardwood floors were cool. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The only reason they did not get a 5 out of 5 was because of the breakfast buffet. The eggs were watery, the bacon half cooked, and the sausage was ok. The coffee was great. this is an older hotel that has had a lot of upgrades. while the rooms are just fine, the hotel has an old feel especially in the entry and lobby area. service in the bar/restaurant was iffy. there were three wedding parties in the hotel the nights we were there and the wait staff was completely overwhelmed. seemed like they needed some plan-ahead thinking. the morning breakfast was better than expected but pretty standard hotel/motel basic fare. not a bad place to stay bur not a great pla... The room I had was fantastic. Curtains from the floor to the ceiling gave it a loft feel. The walk in shower was nice. Loved the barn style rolling bathroom door, great touch. My room had a fridge and a microwave which was great being on a business trip and didn't want to spend all of my money at the restaurant. The bed was super comfy and wonderful quality sheets. Internet and TV was great. My room had wonderful hard wood floors. Checkin/Checkout process was very stress free. The Woman checking... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Tudor Arms during Memorial Weekend. The building is a repurposed Gothic Revival style - complete with gargoyles - that was opened as a men's club in 1933, evolved into a hotel with jazz club. Flash forward to 2011 and a 22 million dollar renovation - now the hotel mixes its historic elements with chic, modern rooms and amenities. The staff was uniformly excellent, in spite of the crush of events (weddings, holiday weekend, etc.) It is within easy walking distance ... Read more

Business travel for 3 days without rental car. Absolutely no places to eat, shop, entertainment, night life within walking distance and hotel shuttle can only bring you up to 2 miles from hotel which still leaves your options extremely limited. Hotel front desk staff also informed a fellow business associate after dark that they recommend you do not walk the area. Downtown is only 4 miles away however we were also told R/T cab fare was around $40-$50!

I stayed at the Tudor Arms-Cleveland location for a work trip. The staff were all very kind to me and were always willing to lend a helping hand or advice on locations to eat and such. The only negative is that the trolley does not pick up or drop off at the Airport. The trolley is very helpful and useful for other locations in order to get food other than from the restaurant. The restaurant had great food and friendly staff as well at a decent cost.

Perfection in all areas of the hotel and restaurant/bar, especially the staff and facilities. I would highly recommend the Tudor Arms for everything above and also for the convenience of the location.

The rooms are VERY large. Hardwood floors. The property is older but maintained well. If you are looking for contemporary/modern feel then this isn't the location for you. The location is really great for Cleveland Clinic patients and visitors as its within walking distance of the campus with very easy hotel shuttle and Cleveland clinic bus (across the street). The restaurant is reasonably priced with really good food. The service is great (front desk). They will do what they can for you. The... Read more

If you are going to Cleveland Clinic this is best hotel by far. Beautiful hotel. Low traffic. $20 to park but valet or self park, same price, fantastic staff. Historic building. Minutes to everywhere.

The people there were very nice, this hotel was understaffed during our stay. A coffee maker but no coffee pot in our room and none was ever brought even after a call to the desk; no vent fan in our bathroom; bleak furnishings in the living room area; we used valet parking, but there was no one to get our car in the morning. We wouldn't suggest this place, unless it is an emergency. It is close to the Cleveland Clinic which is why we used this location.

We chose this hotel because of proximity to Cleveland Clinic, and complementary shuttle service. The vintage building has been nicely updated while maintaining some of the original architectural charm. The room was very clean and well appointed. The restaurant has a mediterranean flair. Food quality was good, and the prices sensible. The best part of this property is the staff. Every person we encountered was helpful, friendly, and efficient. The neighborhood may not please everyone, since th... Read more

Great hotel, great location, outstanding staff. Was here for five days for a medical conference. The staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. I splurged on room service the last night; really excellent all around.

I stayed at the hotel at the end of September for a Cleveland clinic course. I found the room quite spacious, very nicely renovated, and comfortable. Everything was cleaned and nicely organized. I 8 in the restaurant several times and found the food to be very good and servers helpful and polite. On 2 occasions, however, I did find that the wait for food seem to be a bit longer than what I would have expected and noted that a couple of patrons were not pleased with the waiting time. Parking was a nightmare. Our room 1013 by the elevators was the loudest , most sleepless evening I've ever had in a hotel. We called front desk twice, but it didn't help. There were 2 weddings there, bad luck for us, but beware.

We attended a wedding at this gorgeous facility and could not have been more impressed. What a great set up! Ceremony in one room then moved on to the next room for cocktail hour and then the Ballroom! Elegant facility and excellent food. Rooms were also very nice and were extremely roomy with beautiful wood type floors.

Several years ago we stayed at this hotel and were very disappointed. Nevertheless, in town for school, I decided to give the place another chance. Same result. The property nice and well kept, and the service staff are pleasant, if not well informed. For Case Western Reserve University, the location is not terrific and the long walk traverses some questionable blocks, requiring a cab or Uber after dark, for safety. The corner location makes it difficult for vehicle pickup coming from the U... Read more

I have stayed at the Tudor Arms a dozen times or so. I love, love, love this place. The folks are tremendous. Sharianna and the front desk is so sweet and charming. She goes beyond the call of duty to make you feel welcome. Lorenzo is an other person deserving mention. He takes time to solve problems and is extremely helpful. Thank you to this fine gentleman. The rooms were spacious and clean and equipped with microwave & coffee maker. I had good night sleep. They only had two towels and supplied us when we asked for more. I liked the breakfast (buffet) but it was small variety. The fitness center was pretty well stocked and conducive to working out! The staff was friendly. And they had only valet parking. While visiting CASE or the Museums, this is a good hotel.

We have stayed at a couple of hotels in the area while getting care for my husband. The price was within a couple of dollars of the other hotel, but the atmosphere was unique. Rooms are newer and modern, the building itself has an elaborate ballroom where they serve breakfast. Staff was friendly and available. It wasn't our first choice but the hotel we had stayed at had no more rooms available at the "patient" price, so we chose this hotel which did give us a "patient" price. My husband loved t... Our recent visit to the Cleveland Clinic necessitated a nearby hotel. The Tudor Arms fit the bill perfectly. As a HH member, we received first class treatment, however this was afforded to every guest we has contact with. The hotel is walking distance to the clinic, but free shuttle service is available.
