I stayed at 21C for three nights and really enjoyed it. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, but there are a few things I didnt love. Here are my likes and dislikes for this property: Likes: -The rooms are a good size, very clean and modernly furnished. -The air conditioning in the room worked really well. -Their toiletries are Malin + Goetz, which I love. -My room was very quiet even though it was near the elevator. -The staff is very friendly and eager to help. They called the room a lit... Read more

Very nice modern facility. Close to all the activities in downtown Cincinnati. Hotel staff was outstanding! Everyone was so friendly and willing to go the first, second, and third mile to assist. Much appreciated and much enjoyed.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Arrived early, but our room was waiting for us. The staff treated us like family, friendliness and eager to please went beyond anything I've experienced. Knowledge of the city (including traffic) was extraordinary.

We first stayed in a 21C hotel in Lexington, Kentucky and we were hooked with the concept and the people just added to the great experience. It is a bonus to stay in a building that has been renovated so beautifully. The museum only adds to the experience. The staff is warm, friendly and extremely attentive to you. The modern room is spacious well thought out and the bathrooms are functional and well laid out. This chain is expanding and will be our preferred hotel.

I arrived here looking at the Trip Advisor reviews and was expecting something special but was disappointed on day one with the sad room that was provided to me especially when I had booked for a 16 days stay! The room had no natural light, no study table and has poor outlook. After making a request, they agreed to shift me next day. I understand they may be booked fully for a day. However, the front office did not bother to mention that there are providing me with a makeshift room and that wa... Read more

I travel to Cincinnati for business every month or two, and try to stay at 21C whenever possible. The staff is beyond helpful - always courteous and accommodating. The rooms are lovely (I sleep SO WELL when I stay at 21C!) The space is fantastic, and the hotel restaurant Metropole has a vintage, cozy feel. The style of the hotel overall is also remarkable - both classic and funky. Definitely a great place to stay when in Cincy for business or pleasure!

Went here for our Anniversary and wasn't disappointed. Great modern art and rooms with fun crazy accents. Fabulous location and the little roof top bar was a bonus. Special thanks to Craig the engineer at 21C who went out of his way to make our trip special!

I stayed for 6 nights in this hotel and overall had a great experience. The rooms aren't huge but they have true character, just like the rest of the building. The staff tries to be as helpful as possible and the location is excellent. The cafe on the ground floor is very good - special mention to the outstanding white omelette on the breakfast menu! Tip: for the best coffee in town, just go next door to the art museum.

Upon checking in, the woman helping us, Anna, asked us why we were in Cincinnati. I told her the truth, that we were there for some medical tests on me the next day. She kept smiling, and asked, "Where are the tests?" I told her, and she kindly replied, "Well, I hope they go well, and that you get to enjoy Cincinnati afterward." We went to our rooms, then went to dinner. When we returned, milk and cookies were waiting for us, courtesy of Anna. She (hand) wrote a really nice and sweet message, ... Read more

I really am glad that we stayed at this hotel but based on the reviews and hype of the 21c chain I was hoping for much more than we received. The room was clean, quiet and well appointed. I was not impressed with any one staff person. I would compare it to the same service that I get at a Hilton Garden Inn. Some things that we requested were not delivered to our room while we were away (ice). Again, glad I stayed but nothing too exciting about 21c.

This is the first time I've stayed here - celebrating a birthday with sisters. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome, special thanks to the night and morning manager on duty, she was excellent. The rooms were beautiful, if a bit small, but nicely decorated and fabulous bedding! Bathrooms were large and clean with really nice towels and amenities. Hotel has nice art gallery and beautiful restaurant. The bar had a very extensive menu and the staff here was very attentive, even t... Read more

I stayed at the 21c in Cincy while working in the area for several weeks. Upon arrival they could not find my reservation. They lost or stole a package delivered to me at the front desk. In addition, continued to charge my credit card unauthorized charges that were not mine even months later. I had to block my credit card. The rooms were small and had no views but to outside brick walls very dark always. Valet guys were awesome and super nice but front desk hated me because they knew they had lo... Read more

Pretty cool art throughout -- you'll spot some as soon as you enter the lobby. (The 2nd floor is a gallery...and SEE if you can spot body parts sculpted in the tiles in your room's bathroom. You'll have to look well!) The staff is friendly and serviceable. The suite we stayed in was quite roomy -- #409. (I won't tell you which body parts are hiding in the tiles in the bathroom of this suite!) At night, however, the noise from the street and the restaurant across was a little bothersome until aro... You get what you pay for, and you pay a lot to stay in a working art museum. The experience is once-in-a-lifetime for middle classers like my wife and I, and we really enjoyed it. We were treated very well by the staff, who welcomed us in with respectful enthusiasm. The room was great, and we made sure to the watch the 21c Art Channel on the TV. The 21c is in a GREAT location, and we walked all over town with the hotel as home base. They often allow later checkout if you ask, and we did. The e... Read more

My fiancé and I stayed at 21c four nights in September and the stay was nothing short of amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and extremely clean. What truly made our trip spectacular was the amazing staff they have there. We were always greeted warmly and any requests we had were graciously handled with a smile. We would like to acknowledge some of the staff that we had the pleasure to meet; Anna, Summer and Taylor at the front desk...David, Brady and Rodney from bell/valet...Leslie from eng... Read more

This hotel is a lovely place in a great location. The staff here are very attentive and the service is great. It's a fantastic alternative if you're tired of the usual Hiltons and Marriotts. Thumbs up!

Such a pleasant experience! We were in town for the final Reds/Cubs game of the season. We basically chose this hotel for the location. However, we didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did. From start to finish the staff was absolutely excellent! The gentleman who checked us in gave us the rundown of the hotel along with some history. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt in good hands. We wound up getting an upgrade to a luxury suite. It's a shame we were only there one n... Read more

We had a wonderful time in Cincinnati for a family wedding. The hotel staff was very accommodating for our wedding party and guests needs. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet - in spite of all the noise wedding celebrations can make. The only issue was a few of the guest rooms were not ready at check in due to late check outs - so it made for some stress on guests who needed to check in promptly so they could get ready for the wedding events.

Let's begin with our arrival! A lack of a doorman/bellman left us, after a long journey, to fight with two sets of heavy doors and a number of suitcases since we were also transporting work materials. Reaching the front desk, we were greeted by very energetic, yet moderately clueless millennials who gave us a key but neglected to even tell us where the elevators were (behind the gallery door in a hallway), never mind assist us to our room. We arrived on the room floor, found our room, which wa... Read more

Sorry. Did not really enjoy this hotel. I thought I would, but I didnâ??t. Yes, itâ??s hip. Or at least it is trying very hard to be hip. Location is awesome. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the art center next door is wonderful. Staff was good too. Accommodating. But the building is oldâ??albeit remodeledâ??and noisy. Walls seem paper thin. The air conditioning in my room didnâ??t work right and was very, very noisy every time it turned off and on. I just think for the money, the value isn... Read more

Hip, happening, YOUNG, capable adults man the "front desk" taking care of everything from checking in to handling bags; art gallery setup makes for a unique experience for the historic former Metropole Hotel (the 1919 Baseball tour also stops inside 21c Museum Cincinnati). Luxurious bed and bathroom within admittedly small rooms. Blazing fast internet. "Artistic" bathroom fixtures look wonderful but perhaps do not function to allow for efficient bathroom sink and shower use. An easy recommen... Read more

I was in town last week for business and stayed at the hotel. The location is great and the people are very friendly. The rooms themselves are tired and in need of refreshing. For what is supposed to be "the best hotel in Cincinnati" the rooms needed fresh paint and carpet. The furniture was a little banged up as well. Overall, for the price, it was a good value.

I won tickets to see Johnny Mathis. My Dad died on Christmas Eve in 1985 and Johnny was his favorite artist. My Mom is 86 and her love for Johnny Mathis stemmed from my Dad. To be honest I planned the trip to C21 because of the location being across the street from the Aronoff Center and my Mom has great difficulty getting around. Two days before we were to leave, my Mom's brother died. Her only sibling and my Dad was an only child. My husband and I talked her into taking the trip to get h... Read more

We booked last minute and didn't know what to expect as we'd done no research so were very pleasantly surprised with how well located, very cool and arty and fun this hotel was. Everyone was great, the room was quite comfortable and the free bikes to borrow were the best way to spend a Sunday morning!

I am pleasantly surprised by the facilities and service of the 21c hotel. I always knew it had a great location, good restaurants and large art collections. But it's my first time experiencing its rooms - very clean, new and well-decorated rooms. It has everything you need and the friendly house keepers would hand you high quality dark chocolate in the morning! I love the soft bed and pillows and a large variety of TV channels available.
