It was an amazing stay. The staff was very polite and helpful. Didnt get their names but the younger lady that was in the evening reception serving on tuesday was lovely she would go around talking to guests and greating everyone warmly. The older gentleman who i believe was security was super polite and informative about the city. In the morning the breakfast server was sweet and attentive to making sure everything was stocked. Walking into the room was awful. Obviously, the maid had sprayed the room with an overwhelming sweet smelling spray. AND, unfortunately, the windows do not open to let out the smell. I will not stay at this hotel again.

As an occasional traveler to Cincinnati for business, my preferred hotel is the Homewood Suites. I love the location - near downtown, with parking just across the street, and, starting in September, near the Streetcar line. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and responsive.

We recently found ourselves needing a hotel in Cincinnati at short notice for a Saturday night. We have stayed at a number of hotels in the city, but each one was either full or wanted over $200 per night. I checked Tripadvisor and based on the reviews and the price we chose the Homewood suites. Excellent decision! I paid a little extra for a one bedroom suite (v's a Studio) and it was well worth it. Being a HiltonHonors member I was allowed to check in on line and chose a front facing corner r... Read more

It is sad to chose a historical building with a beautiful architecture to visit as first time Cincinnati and have the worse experience with customer service. Since the valet parking, reception, the "lite dinner" responsible and ending with the maid. Seems like every one has a predetermined quote to provide the worse customer service. Would never stay and ever recommend it.

This hotel's strong point is it's friendly front desk. The hotel is centrally located, minutes away from the baseball or football stadiums or the Duke Energy center. You have to take an elevator to get up to the main lobby. Make sure you request a quiet room if you're there for the weekend, as they have loud and rambunctious marriage parties. Breakfast is your standard Homewood fare with draft beer and wine for their manager special. There's a bus called the Southbank Shuttle that takes you... Read more

This Homewood Suites had everything we needed for a long weekend. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was great and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Would have liked a few more rooms available with 2 queen beds and a pull-out, but that's quibbling over what was a generally perfect place to stay in terms of quality and location in the city.

We traveled to Cincinnati for a concert. We were told the hotels were booked downtown and somehow discovered this hotel at the last minute. It is in til old Enwuirer building, the rooms are suites, quite nice. We did not partake in the evening meal or the breakfast which are included in the cost. Would have given 5 stars except that upon check in, with coolers, luggage and gifts for our kids, they had no luggage carts, and had to drag everything from ground level to the elevator.
