We stayed at the Hampton Inn for an overnight family trip to a Red's Game and Selena Gomez concert. My first impression wasn't great just because the parking was confusing and I had called the night before to see if I could have early check inn- 1:00 instead of 3:00 and the guy said that would be no problem. We had dropped my husband and two kids off at the Red's game and my other daughter and I wanted to relax in the room and get ready for the concert- showers, etc. We arrived around 12:30 and... We were in town for a girls road trip to a concert. The location is perfect! There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The sports arenas and river are also in walking distance (just walk straight down Vine). The service desk was great and helpful and the rooms and lobby were gorgeous! Totally staying here again when I'm in Cincy.

This hotel is right downtown, across from Fountain Square in the heart of Cincinnati. We had 5 of us in a suite (2 queen beds and a sofa bed) and had plenty of room. Room was very nice and clean. We walked to Sawyer Point for a concert, and could have easily walked to any of the stadiums or arenas. Parking (valet) was reasonable and easy.

Since the hotel is downtown, be prepared to valet or park across the street in the public lot for $10/night. Be prepared to being all of your stuff up to the 2nd floor to check in, because the lobby is upstairs. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.

Easily one of the best places I have EVER stayed. From the upgraded security (not allowed past the gym floor without a keycard) to the upgrade we got to a suite (the place had two queen beds, a beautiful vanity area separate from the toilet and shower area, a beautiful oak desk in the center with a full rotating tv, and a chair, loveseat, and ottoman on the opposite side. The wetbar and minifridge was a nice addition too). The lobby is split between two Hilton brand hotel chains and both sides a... Read more

The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are large and clean and the beds are super comfortable. And the location is great... you're right downtown Cincinnati. We stayed here and were able to walk to the Great American Ballpark for a game. The downside to this location is parking and check-in. They have valet but don't have a dedicated place to park. So more than likely, you're going to end up parking in the public garage right across the street. That's not horrible but it's not very conv... Read more

The rooms were great, the breakfast was typical, but not great. Our biggest issue was with the lack of luggage carts. There weren't any luggage carts at arrival and we had to wait 20 minutes to get one on our departure. I think the fact the lobby is on the 2nd floor makes it hard to have a good welcoming experience.

We enjoyed our one night at this hotel while passing through Cincinnati and attending a Reds game. We were upgraded to a "suite," which is a suite in the sense that a sitting area and the sleeping area are separated by a desk and a slight offset, but not by a hard wall. Downtown so it's busy and costly. Building is shared with Homewood. A bar on 3 to stay close. Also very well situated in walking distance of all the big downtown entertainment and food. Problems: Much furniture breakfast was filthy Service elevator was out on one day & the staff kept the elevator doors open which caused a 15 minute wait for the guests. Valet parking was spotty. The hotel was in a old historical building and within walking distance to the convention center. The staff for the most part was helpful some more than others. The breakfast attendant was awesome and he was very kind.

Beautiful hotel, excellent comfortable beds, exceptionally clean rooms and a complementary breakfast that was beyond perfect. Very friendly professional staff. Very close to easy dinning access. Oktoberfest was only a few blocks walk. But parking is a challenge.

Central location - the hotel is modern within a historical shell. The room was comfortable with loads of room (corner family room). It was exceptionally clean with lovely comfortable beds. The bathroom was great size with plenty of amenities. The included breakfast was plentiful and the cups personalised to the Red's.

Excellant downtown hotel within walking distance or public transportation of all things Cincy. Efficient and friendly staff. Hotel is clean, contemporary and comfortable. Stayed in a king suite which was well appointed. The bed was soooooo comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. We were in Cincy for a Reds double header and Octoberfest and were able to walk back and forth between games. Will definitely return to this hotel.

An excellent job of rehabbing the old Enquirer Newspaper office building, while maintaining a lot of the old charm in the lobby area. The rooms are surprisingly big and modern. Centrally located within walking distance of restaurants, bars, the Aronoff and sports venues. Valet parking was congested & slow, but since there is no pull off area, that is to be expected. Check-in & out could be a little more efficient, but overall a good experience and will definitely return!

We picked this hotels as it was one of the closest hotels to the zoo, about 5 blocks away. It also included breakfast. The rooms were big enough but there was no fridge which would have been nice. Also parking was $10.00 a day and not a lot of spaces since they had an Amazon job fair. The university was nearby so lots of students in the area. This was a pretty basic hotel with mostly business people and we did not see many families at all. I thought is was alittle expensive but it seemed like... Read more

This hotel is the perfect location for those that want to experience and walk around the city. The staff assisted in providing two adjoining rooms so that we could easily watch our grandchild while our kids walked around in the evening. Would definitely stay there again.

The outside of the building and the downstairs lobby were old and beautiful. The hotel lobby on the second floor and the rooms were very contemporary. I liked the mix. The location was perfect for it's closeness to the Great American Ballpark and the riverfront. Shopping and dining were also close by.

Steer clear of Upper over the Rhine just north of market but Cincinnati fans and people all around the town are so nice and cordial. The red legs tour was fun on game day. Walking over the suspension bridge was fun.

This was our first visit to Cincinnati. The Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown is a great location . It's easy to walk to the Great American Ball Park and the Bengals stadium. The riverfront park is wonderful. Local transportation is easy and reasonable! The staff at the Hampton were outstanding and helpful. Our queen room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet was included which is nice! Loved our long weekend.

In town for a convention. Although the hotel was very busy due to an overwhelming about of guests coming and going, the staff was able to accommodate my somewhat early arrival. My room was a very decent size and very clean. Gym facilities were also clean and the breakfast area was as well. The front desk staff was very friendly and went out of their way to provide assistance and accommodate requests.

This hotel has a great downtown location. Rooms are clean and well-kept. The internet was slow and kept dropping (I stay at a lot of hotels and this does not happen often, so I don't believe it was a problem with my hardware). If fast reliable internet is important to your hotel stay, you may want to look somewhere else.

The hotel was extremely helpful to all my relatives that stayed for wedding held at the 21c Museum hotel. The hotel rooms at the Hampton were far better than the ones of our relatives who stayed at the 21c, and much less expensive. One of my brothers has an ill wife and the hotel let him keep his hotel room until 6:00 pm so that she could rest until the wedding ceremony at 6:00 pm, as he had to head back to Toledo immediately after ceremony. This is a typical Hampton Inn. Clean rooms, nice beds, excellent breakfasts, etc. It is also located very nicely in downtown Cincinnati. Our group was there to watch a couple of baseball games and the stadium (both baseball and football) are walking distance. Also, there are plenty of places to go in the evening.

Beware of the valet parking. Your car will be parked at a garage a block away that has almost no security and absolutely no security cameras that work. A couple of weeks ago two cars who were non Hilton guests but parked in same garage were vandalized and their windows were broken out.

My husband and I recently stayed here for a visit to a football game. Location was great, easily within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the football stadium. While we were there, only 2 of the 4 elevators were working. This proved to be very bad for us, as we were staying on the 11th floor, and had to stop at every floor all the way down to the lobby. Of course, by the time it got to our floor, many times it was full and we would have to wait even longer. Room itself was spacious... Read more
