What a pleasant surprise, very clean, contemporary designed rooms. The room was very affordable, I definitely stay there again. The rooms were recently renovated and the pool is currently undergoing renovations so it was closed.

Stayed two nights at Hampton while in Chillicothe for a conference on archaeology (Chillicothe is ground-zero for the most amazing ancient earthworks in North America, the product of the Hopewell culture of 2000 years ago). I was shut out of the conference hotel, the nearby Quality Inn, and frankly I am very happy I was. Hampton is new, the room was absolutely clean and well-appointed, and although it was close to being full, it was quiet. The complimentary breakfast had hot and cold choices, sa... Read more

Typically the top floor is quiet --- on this stay not only did the AC have issue 2/3 nights. There was a rumbling noise like a helicopter coming from the roof. Very disruptive to sleep. I reported the issues but very little was completed to rectify the noise issue

A little more expensive than some others close by, but well worth it for a comfortable stay. Clean rooms, pool/hot tub were not cloudy, very well kept. Ceiling fan in the suite bed room made it extra nice; kids loved the fire place.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Chillicothe Hampton Inn. The new floor plan and room design, especially the bathroom, was such an efficient and comfortable use of space. Also, this hotel was very clean...a must when I travel. Thank you Hampton Inn.

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean in all aspects and all the staff that we encountered we friendly and accommodating. We asked for a late check-out to allow the kids to enjoy the pool in the morning since we did not get checked in until after 11pm. They gave an extra hour no questions asked. Pool area was clean and did not wreak of chlorine as most hotels do. The hot breakfast was good with lots of choices for the sweet tooth of the family as well as the health conscious. Staff was very cooperative, room was clean and quiet, breakfast buffet was varied and tasty and the kitchen staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom, however, was not up to Hampton Inn standards. Seemed to have been put together on a budget, and in a hurry, in order to come up with another guest room. Décor and landscaping were pleasant and the indoor pool and fitness center were appealing.

Stopped here on our way home from Richmond, VA. Room was clean and comfortable, hotel is new, staff is friendly. I say "almost perfect" because the only thing lacking was a non dairy alternative yogurt or milk at breakfast. When you have to get that picky to find a negative, that's pretty darn great!

We were put in a tiny room, no window, right next to the breakfast prep area. Noise above us until 1am. Woke up at 5am due to the noise of breakfast prep. The breakfast buffet was good, if you could get any food, containers were empty most of the time, they were stingy with the food. At checkout, they comp'd our room which was the right thing to do, clerk was kind and understanding. Hampton Inn's are good, we just had a bad experience here.

We were in Chillicothe to see Tecumseh. Since we had our grandchildren, we had to have a pool. The hotel was clean, relatively new, nicely decorated, had a nice breakfast and had a nice pool and side hot pool. The room (2 queen and a shower) fit us fine. The staff was helpful and friendly. I think the price $134 plus tax per night was a bit high, but so were the rest of the hotel rooms available in Chillicothe. Other than the price, the Hampton was a nice place to stay and met our needs.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, but disappointed with the bathroom-a sliding door without a lock-- also no real closet. We are not sure if this was the usual style room, since we arrived a little early and our room wasn't ready-- the staff graciously switched us to another room that was ready. The footsteps of the occupant above us were very loud making it difficult to get to sleep. Always loved Hampton,so this may have just been an unusually bad visit.
