Hotel is well kept and staff is kind and accommodating. I would not recommend for the business traveler as the rooms are not set up for week long stays. No Fridge (or upon request only) and no microwave. Chairs are straight back and no couch or sofa chair as many other Hamptons have.

This hotel was nice for a business trip I had in the area. It was not too far from the airport and the staff was helpful and courteous. They made suggestions about restaurants in the area. The room was clean and quite on the second level. Breakfast was nice too. Quick stay but nice.

This is our and more than likely last trip to Bowling Green, since our son has now received his Master's. I would recommend No other place in this small town, but Hampton Inn. There complimentary breakfast is an added bonus.

We visited Bowling Green to attend our niece's wedding. The Hotel was located at the centre of the town and the rooms were well equipped. The staff, mostly elderly ladies were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast used to be good. We were a family of nine with three kids, one twins aged 2 years. There was scope for leisurely activities like swimming, Gym etc. The humourous part of it was... Read more

We noticed an unusually damp feel the moment we walked into our room. The noisy wall-unit air conditioner ran continuously but did not seem to be able to both cool and remove humidity sufficiently from the room. Late in the evening-early morning hours there were numerous loud, unsupervised children in the hallway. I called the front desk twice with no resultant improvement. I believe there was just one young woman on duty who was seemingly helpless.

everything was good, expect the breakfast was cold, hot tube was a little on the cool side. but the swimming pool was perfect, rooms were good, just wish they had a fridge in the room, very nice and polite staff. that made up for it.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Friendly service, spacious rooms, plenty of amenities. I had a few minor issues that were resolved by staff quickly. The breakfast was delicious! The whirlpool was not hot at all. This is something that should be fixed!

Always stay at Hampton Inn hotels when we travel. The staff is super friendly, and their hot breakfast is amazing. This location also has an awesome pool and hot tub. Will definitely come back here every time we go to Cedar Point, even though it's an hour away, totally worth it!!!

Room was clean and pleasing to the eyes. The business center suited our needs. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The hotel is behind various restaurants, and across the street from the Bowling Green State Strohs Center. I'd give it 5 stars all around.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to BGSU. The staff gave us names of great place to eat. The hotel was very full but our room was quiet. The pool area was very nice as well. The bathroom looked as though it had been updated and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and linens were well above average.

Nice people, good breakfast. But what was once BG's newest motel is getting a little tired. And room TV issues during Game 6 of the NBA playoffs and the US Open didn't make things any better. We were told it was a cable company issue, but there was no problem with the TV in the lobby, so....... Also, this Hampton doesn't recycle. Really, Hampton? Maybe the new motel going up next store will prompt a remodel.

Great experience EVERY time we stay here. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable even when crowded, it's generally quiet and relaxing. The location is perfect for campus visits. Highly recommended for those auditioning for the music and theater programs at BG as it is directly across the street from a campus entrance and about 5-10 min from the Wolfe Center/Moore Musical Arts building.

Very convenient location to BGSU. Plenty of good restaurants nearby within walking distance. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. The eggs and potatoes were plain, but not bad for free. Pool was clean, but cold. Work out facility only has ellipticals, bikes and treadmills, no weights or weight machines.

This Hampton Inn is a great place to lay your head for a night. It is relatively clean, has a welcoming atmosphere, and is quiet. There are quite a few good places to eat within walking distance or just a quick drive. It is easy on/off of the highway, but far enough down the road that you do not here the I-75 noise.

The room was nice and clean. Only stayed one night so wasn't sure how stayovers where handled. The breakfast had a large selection of items. I was surprised that for the rate I paid I did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. I liked the closet design in the room. The front desk staff was professional. The breakfast attendants were very helpful and handled the area quite well.

Our family has stayed at the Hampton BG multiple times now. Each stay has been enjoyable. This year, we noticed several updates which keep things looking fresh (new carpeting, wall covering, etc.). Also, we're greeted by the same staff each year, which indicates low turnover. This really shows in their level of service and attention to details. They do a great job and make our stay a real pleasure.

Other than the room being muggy from the air conditioner and the walls being thin enough for me to hear my neighbors both nights until the middle of the night, the hotel was pretty decent. Fresh coffee was served round the clock and the breakfast was a nice selection. Rooms were decent enough and the staff was friendly.

We booked this hotel with points and were delighted at the special rate we were given. Prior to our arrival, the manager called to offer us a free upgrade to an even better room. We were greeted by friendly staff, the room was immaculate, the air conditioning stayed cold and did not turn off by a motion sensor, and the bed was very comfortable. I've stayed at a lot of Hamptons so I'm a bit biased. This one seems to need a bit more updating. The room did have a sour smell that I just tolerated and figured it was just old. (I did not complain). This was one of two hotels recommended to me for the area. It is right across from BGSU so if you are in town for the University, it is very convenient. The staff was nice.

This hotel is beautiful and worth every penny! The lobby and rooms were super clean. I loved that the beds had 4 pillows each (I sleep with a lot of pillows normally). Other hotels usually only have 2. I love the location to campus. I plan to stay here everytime I visit my child. Oh, the front staff were super nice and helpful. She suggested the best places to eat in town. Great job Hampton in BG!

Lodging options in Bowling Green, OH are sparse so when first making arrangements, travelers might not expect the well appointed rooms along with the amenities that are provided here. I must confess I don't use TripAdvisor (finding Yelp to be more level-headed on the aggregate) but given that this is channeled towards Tripadvisor without any option - I can only encourage you to give Yelp a shot! (especially the photo essay of "Bowling Green Historic District" that won't be found in TripAdvisor)... Read more

I have never seen a bathroom quite as gross as this one was. First I was met with a long black hair in my sink. I have extremely short, close-cropped platinum blonde hair so I know it wasn't mine. I was only there for one night and wasn't feeling well so my goal was to get in, get showered and get to sleep as I had an early meeting in the morning with a friend I was visiting who has been in the hospital. Hampton Inns are a leading U.S. hotel chain, and there's a lot of uniformity in what you get. It's not a 5-star luxury chain, but a very pleasant mid-priced hotel. The bed I had in the Bowling Green Hampton Inn (a king) was nicely firm, and the linens were soft and comfortable. Having a fridge and microwave were pluses, as were the USB portals on the nightstand near the bed and on the desk. I like being able to select a room during internet check-in, and haven't come across any other chains ... Read more

Nothing memorable- adequate Hampton Inn in a college town. Hoping for more walking area near the hotel- it is next to a strip mall. Town is filled with college bars. We won't be back. The Mexican restaurant nearby was a good value and very popular. No fridge in the room- surprising!

Stayed here last week on a business trip, and immediately wished I hadn't. If Stale cigarette smoke, worn carpet (in room), and outdated rooms are your thing, you'll feel right at home here. However, for someone used to traveling with Hilton brands, this one is not up to par. It appears to have been renovated by looks of the lobby and hallways, but the rooms themselves leave much to be desired. On top of that, it was extremely loud. I could hear every vehicle in the parking lot coming and going... Read more

Hampton Inn is reliably good, but not perfect. Our room felt like a fridge when we walked in. Not just a little cool as a matter of preference, but clearly way too cold. Someone had left the A/C cranked way too high. Also some wallpaper damage around the bathroom door. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

Stayed here just one night and it was great! Check in staff was very friendly. It's so close to campus. Good breakfast (free!) in the morning. 2 things though..... the room was freezing when we walked in. I think they clean it and set it to 60! And the tv wasn't working. The remote had tape on the back with a families name on it (maybe it was left by another family?). We could hardly get the channels to change. Then we couldn't turn it off!
