At the reception desk is a woman named Brianna. I have been traveling for 40 years on business, and this is the most considerate, helpful receptionist that I have ever met. Our family was attending an event at John Carroll University, and we had four rooms reserved. One of the reservations was originally booked as a king room, but our daughter brought her two girls, and needed to change this to a Double, but the hotel was sold out. Brianna contacted several guests to identify one who would s... Read more

I had to stay for 2 weeks in Ohio for business purposes and this hotel suited my needs pretty well. It's very spacious, inside with lots of sitting and working areas, There is a good bar and a restaurant that only offers only a few meals on the menu. Every day from 17.00 - 19.00 it's happy hour which means that they serve drinks and snacks fro free. This is very appreciated, because this enables a very social atmosphere and it's easy to meet aother people. The room was big, but not very nice. The... Read more

The suites are clean, the staff is very helpful, the beds are fluffy, we love the complementary breakfast and we felt welcome staying there. Also loved the pool. Everytime we stay at the Embassy Suites we have a good time. We feel that we get a good value for the money spent. We look forward to returning to the Embassy Suites sometime in the near future.

We have been staying at this hotel for years since we have had 3 children attend college in the Cleveland area. We loved the prior, jungle décor with the stream and turtle thing happening in the lobby but equally enjoy the newer modern décor. This is an easy hotel for us. With many children, it has been more then accommodating, reception in the evening has always been a favorite and the breakfast is great!

We checked in last Friday for a Family Reunion, after driving from out of state. The Reunion folks all had baskets waiting for them, but the guy at the desk didn't tell me about it. The Room, in the 240s, was nice and spacious, and the Climate Control was Good. It was nice that they had a list of "Green" "Yellow" and "Red" times when breakfast was more or less crowded. Of course, those who read the notice simply went to breakfast early. Nice Buffet, with an omelet line that was so long I didn't... Read more

I've stayed at other Embassy Suites and they were very nice. This property is Very old and run down. The breakfast was very crowded and they were short staffed. Food wasn't replaced and when they say they have pancakes and they don't it doesn't help a child looking forward to it.

First, the hotel seems old and run down. The decor in the rooms is absolutely horrid, in shades of snot-yellow, brown, beige and ... more brown. There is also a lack of upkeep some places, for example, the ice machine at the 3rd floor doesn't work, and the freezer in the in-room fridge is screaming for a deicing. That said, the rooms are huge - the bed in my room was gigantic, and I like that. Also the AC is quiet and works well. There are two tvs, a microwave, a fridge and coffee machine. Wif... Read more

Lobby ambiance is nice as well as the updated rooms but the hot tub by the pool has scum rings that can be scrapped off with fingers ( so lack of cleaning is obvious) and moldy bathrooms with no fan, resulting in bubbling ceiling and rust. Party goers in the banquet rooms on the first floor can be heard in guest rooms until 1,2 am and the atrium makes it worse. For the room pricing, it was disappointing that their is no noise control. I enjoy Embassy Suites - the extra room and the commentary breakfast and Happy Hour. The one in Beechwood, which I visit 1-2 times/year, is old, badly need a refurbishing and has an interior designed by an illogical idiot. They always seem to have large boisterous family reunions every time I visit at weekends! This one is my least favorite Embassy Suites (I have visited several). Despite all of this, it is an Embassy Suites, and I enjoyed my visit, and will return.
