Stayed the weekend with my friend. Outside was really creepy but once we got inside, it was fine. The beds were really comfortable and squishy. The rooms were dim. This hotel offers a continental breakfast, but not waffels. Kinda sad. Was really looking forward to waffels. The door we entered was a side door and it was not secured. It had the key card entry but it it wasn't required. Didn't feel secured.

The lights are out and it was very dark out, property manager not very friendly, front desk personnel and housekeepers very helpful. Breakfast was great, but it would be nice to have waffles and a second meat, sausage gets a little old

Checked in to the hotel and had to switch rooms, because it was 100 degrees outside and the room had no working air conditioner. Checked into another room and we had the same problem. Finally after lugging our bags up and down the stairs twice (there are no elevators), we got a room with air conditioning. The rooms were decent for the price, but I have seen cleaner. Staff was very helpful and apologetic, so that's why I gave it an average rating.

I was put on the first floor. The room was hot and stuffy upon check in. It turned the AC on and woke up the next morning to the wall unit blowing hot air out. At checkout I told them of the issue with the wall unit in my room. The explanation of the front desk staff was that due to the construction of the heating and cooling system, there apparently a design problem with the wall units when the boiler (for heating was still on for the winter season) is on. I couldn't open the window due to... Read more

Horrible stay. Hot, stuffy, outdated and dirty. I've tried to post this review before, magically it never makes the cut. This time I have pictures. They advertise queen beds, they are not. They are tiny full size. Only three pillows. Had to beg for more. Limited supplies in room. Had to also request more. Very understaffed. Patio almost inaccessible, no key reader on door and we were completely locked outside and had to walk all the way around. Patio grassy and very trashy, not worth it. There w... Read more

The housekeeping staff were very nice and as accommodating as possible. The property itself was rather dated. The "continental " breakfast was out of coffee every morning that we went to it. Food left quite a bit to be desired

The staff here is fantastic. Minerva's left and Capital City Grill took over just from 4 PM. Capital City is having a lot of challenges. Staffing for instance. The best thing on the hotels free breakfast was the Raisin Bran cereal. The rooms need updating. No automatic door closures for instance. The free internet drops out at times. I think I could have done better for what I paid. I did make several suggestions of how they could improve their breakfast but I doubt if it will change. The bigge... Read more

Our business travel means we stay in various lodging establishments several times per week. We arrived at 3:00 AM local time, they claimed they had not received the reservation in their computer. Instead of offering to help, we had to take care the initiative to call and have hotels.com fax the reservation again. At least the hotel offers a standard checkout time of noon, giving us about 8 hours of sleep. We got to room 147, and hung the do not disturb sign on the door. Once actually in the ... Read more

The bed was comfortable, the toilet leaked from the tank and left water on the floor ever time it was flushed, the a/c didn't cool very well so it left the room pretty humid and damp feeling but it was quit! Front desk people were nice as well and they had excellent parking lot space.
