The service was fantastic -- the desk clerk moved her van so I could park close; the sharp-eyed security guard found a lapel pin part after the seatbelt pulled the lapel pin off; the room was close, clean, and very comfortable; the desk clerk was careful about Wifi arrangements; the desk clerk found an Ansel Adams exhibition and a guest pass to enter!!! The property is very convenient to Bridger's Field. Everyone was very helpful.

I'm having a hard time putting my finger on what seemed "off" about the hotel. It obviously was built as a different hotel (I'm thinking an independently-owned inn because that's how it looks). That said, they're working with some spatial restrictions and can't do the full-sized Courtyard lobby area. I can't put my finger on what rubbed me the wrong way. the staff was certainly friendly when we checked in but it seemed like we were secondary to whatever conversations they were all having. We we... Read more

Nice comfortable rooms at a great price. Very good service from the check-in staff. The grounds are limited. The food service provided very average good and coffee. The food was cold and the coffee lukewarm. The good service quickly closes at 10 am. Disappointing.

We have stayed at this property dozens of times over the last six years primarily for the awesome location next to the Wake Forest University campus. Our experience has always been satisfactory, not awesome, but clean and comfortable rooms at a fair price for the convenient location. Our latest stay for graduation weekend was also just satisfactory. We understand that rates on that weekend are 50 or 60 percent higher than "normal". We also understand that reservations cannot be cancelled close... Read more

We have been traveling to Winston Salem for the past 4 years while our son was at Wake. We have stayed in other local hotels. All were not pleasant experiences. The locations or the hotels were not good. This hotel is FANTASTIC! The location is a short run to campus. The staff was helpful. The rooms are clean, nicely appointed and large. The food was quick and handy. If you plan to stay at Wake for any family week-ends, football games or graduation book 1-2 years in advance. We booked ... Read more

We stayed two nights for a nearby graduation. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good although I had the third banana before I got a good one. The room amenities were good and the wifi was strong. We would return.

We stopped in and spent the night at this Courtyard on our way down to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago. The place is similar to other Courtyards...but I wish they had the hospitability hours and free breakfast and such like some of the other Marriott's do...such as the Residence Inns. But the place is very nice and clean and neat and orderly. Very courteous and professional staff. Clean and quiet room and a very comfy bed, nice TV and fridge, etc. Kind of located in a rather odd neighborhood but no... Read more

They're now offering a "premium" Wi-Fi option for $5 a day. The free "high speed" internet is 0.85Mbps download. You'll struggle to check email with that, and your phone will think that you just don't have a connection at all. It's the year 2016, you can go to almost any hotel and find a passable internet connection - so go anywhere but here.

This hotel is a former Comfort Inn so you will not recognize the usual cookie cutter design . It looks a bit drab on the outside and is not in the best of neighborhoods but if you have a reason to be at Wake Forrest , especially for a sporting event , this is the place to be for convenience alone. The interior is clean , comfortable and safe and the staff was extremely friendly and professional.

Planning a trip to the football stadium? This is a great location for a nice comfortable place to stay. Staff friendly and it has sufficient amenities. Starbucks coffee, breakfast choices and a small bar. Easy walk to the stadium so parking is no problem.
