I wasn't going to do this review until I found a pair of shorts missing. But let's start from the lobby up. Lobby was ok the window was hard to hear with loud guessed behind me. The hallways smelled like smoke and the floors were very dirty. The room was ok and the bathroom was good the 1st night and then found a hair that was not mine in the shower. But I woke up Sunday Morning and to go put on a pair shorts I had with and could not find them. What gets me is why someone would take them. I have... Read more

The hotel is absolutely fine. Sure there are holes in the sheets and cigarette burns on the pillows but the hotel is clean. Sometimes smells like smoke in the halls but the rooms are fine. Clean and smell fine inside. For one of the cheapest hotels in Wilmington this super 8 is a great place to stay for a quick night or two.

This was just "okay." There wasn't an iron ore ironing board in the room, which was an inconvenience to me.

The air conditioner and refrigerator were loud as freezer portion of refrigerator was very frosted up. The bathroom door hinge was broken/sink was cracked. Complained about door and was not offered a room change when other rooms were available.

Even though they cleaned sheets? still dirty looking. We had to change rooms because of this and one bed definitely had unclean sheets. If it were not on road so long and we were only here one night we would of stayed somewhere else. Not even sub-par. Just nasty. I try to find the good in all and only thing was front desk was accommodating as could be. But when glass partition went up knew we were not in a nice hotel.

This was booked not knowing the area for a night to get some rest and on our way. It was stained everywhere and the beds were awful. We were afraid to pull the blankets up on us. Shady area and couldn't wait to get out. I was even afraid to have bare feet on the carpet. I cant believe I paid $75.00 for a rat hole. If we werent so tired and it wasnt so late, we would have kept moving for a nice hotel.

Sharry at the front desk was so friendly and pleasant. She made great suggestions for tourist enjoyment and dinner options. Room was clean and cheerful. Price Was extremely reasonable for Memorial Day weekend .Altogether I had a great experience here. I Will definitely come back here next time I am in town.

The staff at this hotel was great. They were very helpful and accommodating. The property itself is in need of a serious update. Although the room was very clean, the entire building smelled of cigarettes. The paint colors used in the hotel are horrible and the carpets are stained and smelly. There needs to be a breakfast nook or room. The free breakfast was very limited and there was no place to sit and eat it. This chain's competitors offer a much better breakfast.

I booked a non-smoking room. Although my room is designated as a non-smoking room, I could smell smoke as soon as I entered the second floor and the smell got worse as I went down the hall. My room also faintly smelled. After talking with the clerk at the front desk, I learned that rooms at the end of my hall, starting 2 rooms down from mine, were smoking and so was the third floor. I asked to be relocated, but I was told the only other queen room left was reserved. The clerk seemed bother by re... Read more

The website pictures of rooms must be from 10 + years ago the motel has 3 floors without a elevator the carpet in the hallways were filthy the bed covering was stained, not to mention the bed was made with the blanket on the bottom and sheet on top which skived me. when we pulled up men were hanging out the windows with other men walking around outside in the parking lot made me feel very uncomfortable arriving at 11:30 pm. Fortunately I had a 6 am flight out so I was there for a minimum of hour... Read more

This place looked like it just came from the 70's. We left the next morning and came back around 2 o'clock and our room had not been clean asked clerk bout cleaning room and getting the trash out he replied that the cleaning crew was gone so we asked for clean towels and he said he only had two towels and 2wash clothes. There was 4 adults and we stayed for 2 nights the first night was $149.98 and the next night was $94.98 and we was told to reuse our towels and I don't do that at home and I want... Read more

Well, for a trap house, I guess it wouldn't be bad. Upon waking in, the man at the front desk seemed overwhelmed that someone was checking into the hotel. There was a super funny smell walking in- think old stale cigarettes and wet carpet mold. Finally after 15 mins of checking in, we got to our room. Very outdated and had a moldy, musty smell, strangely stucco walls and retro decor. There was also a dirty washcloth left behind in the bathroom by a previous guest. The air conditioning unit sound... Read more

First off, we travel and 99% of the time check out places prior to staying. This time it was getting late and we were needing to find a place to stay. Everywhere we looked was full. I was prepared to lean the seat back in my truck and wait on morning but had the wife and kids with me. They wanted a hotel and this Super 8 had some availability. Price gouging was the first issue! $160 per night! This place appears to be a by the hour joint! Rough side of town and the people hanging out in the park... Read more

The room was nice and clean, "breakfest" could be a little better its pretty much just juice, coffee, and some stale muffins and donuts but i guess you get what you pay for. Other than that was a great room and rate!

We stayed here a couple weeks ago for one night and found the hotel to be clean, reasonably priced and in a good location. We really enjoyed Wilmington - the town is interesting and there were nice places to eat.

This was a fairly priced room for the location and the quality of room. The hotel is located on a Main Street with plenty of this very close by. The ride to Wrightsville Beach is only about 10-12 minutes and an uber to downtown Wilmington is only about $6-7. There is plenty of nightlife and great places to eat downtown and I strongly suggest visiting the area. The hotel was clean and checking in/out was easy and quick. They offer a breakfast, mainly cereal and waffles if you are looking to ... Read more

I was surprised the first stay here. The front desk people were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows could stand upgrading but they were still better than ones at the days inn down the street. I stayed here several times since this visit so that says a lot.

Hotel is a older building, but the staff was friendly and courteous . The price was good with the time of year and on a Saturday night. The room was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. The room had a mini fridge that's always a plus. The breakfast was just ok mainly waffles and cereal. It was farther away from the beach than where we stayed on Friday night, but we didn't have reservations. We just walked in and got a room. That was great to find a room that easily on a Saturday night.

The hotel is a bit tired, and could use some renovations, but appears clean enough. It had a recent good sanitation rating from august 2016 (98,5 if memory serves). Neighburhood is OK, with ease in and out access to the main road and plenty of places to eat within a couple of minutes drive.

Very very dated, underlying smell of possible water damage at some point. Staff was fine, only delt with the check in clerk and only had to stay one night. Pillows definitely need to be thrown out and replaced, I went and purchased my own to sleep on. Furniture was way way outdated. Sorry to say but will never stay again. Bathroom seemed fine.

I attempted to check in at 12:15 p.m. with a current drivers license and a credit card that also had my picture on it. I should've known to keep going. Even as I pulled in, I could see the staff run out of view. I waited a few minutes. Then, Naimah, the night auditor, asked me what kind of room I needed. I told her one with two beds as I was traveling with children. She asked me if I was local, which was an odd question. Why would I stay in a hotel if I lived in town? Then, she made a co... Read more

Stayed here while in town for a family wedding. Found the front desk staff extremely pleasant. And helpful. Read these reviews and can't believe it's the same place. Rooms were clean and freshly painted. Breakfast was more than I expected. Definitely would come again and refer it to others!!
