I'm so glad I booked this location. It couldn't have been better for us and our friends that decided to go with us. We had a great time and the Cape Fear river view from our 9th floor units was great. We could look out from the large balcony and see the Battleship NC within a short distance. The Riverwalk was right in front of us and the US Coast Guard ship, Diligence, was docked on the other side of the walk. Our unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. We will definitely stay there again ... Read more

I stayed at the Riverview Suites during a 4 day conference. The Hilton rooms were booked so this property was used as spill over. I was pleasantly surprised. The rates were cheaper. These are basically condos and each unit is a little different. I had a great view of the U.S.S. North Carolina, close parking, and just steps away from the Riverwalk. The conference center is in easy walking distance Check-in was typical Hilton conference madness. The staff was friendly, attentive, and speed... Read more

Took my daughter and a friend to see a concert at a local bar and stayed here for the night. When we arrived the pull out sofa was broken. The condo is managed by Hilton and they responded immediately. They discounted our room, provided us with a free breakfast and gave us two role away beds for the kids. Was very pleased with this. The condo was fine for the price. It had a good view and good location. Thank you Hilton for the super customer service.

After reading the reviews here, we knew what to do. We parked at the Hilton across the street and checked in and then drove over to the Riverview parking lot and found our suite. The room was great; although, from the 2nd floor, we didn't have a very good view of the river. My wife had knee surgery recently, but we were close enough to Front St for us to make the walk from the hotel easily. The bed was comfortable enough and we sure made good use of the little washer/dryer. We will stay here... Read more

We had a pleasant three days in condo 803. It was well furnished with great views of the river. You have to check in at the Hilton but we knew that beforehand and it was fast and efficient. The location is central to shopping and restaurants in the river district. There's also a convenient bagel\breakfast cafe on the street below in case you don't want to fix your own. Our only complaint was the very slow internet. Note: We were there with a group and our room was half of those that stayed in t... Read more

We stayed here one night and it was perfect. These are privately owned condos that are managed by Hilton and are located right across the street from the Hilton. Great view from the balcony of the River and battle ship. Walking distance to everything, shops, restaurants and the riverfront Boardwalk. An added bonus was the washer and dryer in the condo. Highly recommend!

Your stay here will be in a condo unit, so décor and amenities may vary. Although this is an older building, our unit was fairly recently remodeled. It has a nice river view balcony looking out on the USS North Carolina battleship and on the river walk. We parked under the adjacent parking deck ($11/day added to the bill). Just a block away is the Cotton Exchange building, which houses a number of shops and restaurants, and up the street is the historic downtown shopping district. The air cond... Read more

I loved the location. The room was good except the carpet had a lot of stains on it. We kept our socks on. Not sure if the bathroom had a fan, But the light switch did nothing when you turned it on. Nice bagel shop downstairs Beautiful view of river and ships.

We only stayed for one night and we were very satisfied. It was very comfortable and we felt right at home. The view of the water and the battleship was gorgeous. The price was excellent! Only negative factor we have was the dust bunnies underneath our bed. Looked like the maids had been sweeping them all under there for some time. Also, vehicle parking is NOT free. We read some reviews where people stated that the parking was free. They are incorrect. It is $11 per day. Other than that, we ... Read more

Small condo with Great river view. Located one block from river walk shops and restaraunts. Has a small complete kitchen, with dishes & utinsels, small sitting / living room. Has a nice Balcony to sit with river view. Very clean. one bedroom with queen bed. The only draw back is airconditioner / furnance is in a closet in the bedroom and is very loud when running. Weather was in the 90's so AC was on constant .Condo manage by Hilton, check in at Hilton.

We had a disappointing stay at the Riverview Suites. This property is managed by the Hilton HOWEVER is nowhere near the quality you would expect from a Hilton property. The carpets were a disgrace - bad stains. The room was advertised as a having a sofa bed. It did but it was disgraceful. The matrass was basically springs with a thin sheet covering it. My poor son who had to sleep on it was so uncomfortable - I would let my dog sleep on something like that at home. Very disappointing as we say t... Read more

Let me start by saying I booked through Riverviews site, received confirmation and accepted the price. I booked for a Thursday and Friday night, weekday rates much less than the Friday night rate but we wanted to be downtown. Arrived on the Thursday to find the building locked and no real instruction on how to check in. Thankfully another guest came over and told us to check in at the Hilton across the street. I went over and sure enough they are managing rooms / have some type of arrangement wi... Read more

I will never stay at another Hilton property in Wilmington NC again. AC never properly cooled room. Front desk at Hilton gave inadequate directions to suite. Would have left ., when entering room however rooms were sold out. Room clean , carpet and dated furniture worn and dirty

The Riverview Suites is probably the best location in the Historic District second to the Hilton. It is in the center of everything! It also has a wonderful view of the river. We looked out on the battleship. Those are it's best features. However, it's very shabby and dingy. The wood furniture is chipped with pieces breaking off. The small dining table was terribly wobbly. The bathroom floor was stained; the couch dusty; the mattress on the pull-out couch was horrifying! One of the TVs didn't wo... Read more

Other reviews commented on the rooms and described poor conditions but ours was very clean with modern touches, hardwood floors, and nice bedding. Maybe it's hit or miss but we were very pleased. Really nice suite with wonderful views of the Cape Fear river. The unit was clean and had everything needed. All the units have a balcony that faces the river so you really can't go wrong but try to get one higher up in the building for the best views. Also, you need to check in first at the Hilton whic... My wife, daughter and I made a quick weekend trip down to Wilmington to visit family. The Riverview Suites deal on trip advisor was priced right. For the money, the view was great with the battleship & the river. The building was close to shopping & dining. The only downfall was that on Friday night there was a coverband concert in the next parking lot which made it tuff for my daughter to go to sleep until they were done around 10:30pm. Otherwise, awesome deal & place to stay. FYI a $11 par... Read more

First off the Riverview Suites are managed by Hilton Riverside. Checked in on Sunday for a business meeting and the unit had hardwood's and not to bad. Big draw back was no ice available for having a cup of drink in the room. There was a dorm size refrigerator in my first room but could live with that! So watching a television that everyone was either really green or faded out. So it was getting bed time and I started turning off lights and then noticed two "large bugs" crawling around near the ... This place was a heck of a find, located right across the street from the hilton with a beautiful view of the river, coast guard ship and the battleship across the way. Wilmington itself is amazing for a small town - we really enjoyed the downtown area. Food was beyond expectations and the little corner store was great right near the hotel. Friday night concert was a bit loud outside but the place was well soundproofed. Farmers market in the morning was right downstairs. The kitchen was great, b... Read more

Suites (we ended up seeing 2) were decorated nicely and clean for the most part. Both units were very dusty. Our experience was pretty terrible. Upon arrival we had a ruff time finding the entrance then when we did, we realized that check in has to be done across the street at the hilton. That's fine but when I called to make the reservation they could have told me that to say the least! Then once we got in our room we heard a horrible noise coming from the bedroom. The AC unit is located right ... Read more

We stayed at the Riverview Suites. We were extending our vacation to check out the area for possible future retirement. The Check in for the Suites is across the street at the Hilton. They were great about telling us where to park and how to get into the Suites. Both receptionists at the Hilton were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 8th floor. It was very comfortable and the view was fantastic. Watching the sunsets from our balcony with the Battleship North Carolina in the fore... Read more

We were looking for a suite with a view of the river for a girls time out. The best we could locate on the internet was this place. The address is 106 Water St. I drove to this address. There was no sign out for a hotel/condo etc. Between a parking garage and a construction site was a building with several shops and offices along the street. 106 was a law office. I parked and went over to see what I could find. 2 of the storefronts had the address of 106-the law office and locked double... Read more

Location 5/5 - right on river tons of places to eat and great walkability for downtown. Best location in town! Room - 2.5/5 photos not of my unit - they are individually owned but rented by Hilton. Room AC barely worked, water pressure was awful and everything was pretty outdated. Felt like a old Ramada inn condo. View was breathtaking but that was the only real positive. Full kitchen was nice. Item to note: parking is 10 bucks a night and you have to drive the the Hilton to check in.

We were excited to check in, although doing so at the Riverside Hilton took over 30 minutes with only 2 staff at desk, and the line literally out the door. Upon entering, the suite was well furnished and nice. At a closer look, the hardwood floors were filthy, with a layer of dust even in the hallway, but in the bedroom corners, just gross. If properly cleaned, we would stay again, but most likely not.
