Family and I stayed in two rooms at this Ramada. This place is a dung heap. Bathroom tub had brown crud around the wall ledge. The shower curtain was stained and moldy on the bottom. The beds were old and saggy. The smoke alarm wasn't properly bolted to the wall anymore, so it sort of hung down. This place is horrible. I paid $75/night and it was worth no more than $39.

Would not stay again! Will not recommend! Needs severe cleaning and updating. Entire place smelled like garbage and stale smoke. Was concerned about safety outside hotel in parking lot. Bed was very hard. Chair had garbage in between cushion and underneath when we moved it closer to tv. Yuck!! Shower was old and stained and shower head was not attached to wall. Could not regulate to warm was either very hot or extreme cold. Little black flies flew out of the sink during entire stay. Advertise... Read more

Stayed here for a soccer tournament where they literally doubled the price of the hotel rooms across the board. This hotels should barely be a one star. Complete filth. Bathroom covered in hair and mold. Urine on the sides of the toilet. Lock didn't work on the door. Drapes falling down. I was told that housekeeping was already gone for the day and there were no other rooms available due to everything being booked for this tournament. Avoid this hotel if aI all possible!!! My daughter plays travel volleyball. We are not very hard to please when it comes to hotel rooms because we are basically there to just sleep and shower. However, this stay was one of the worst we have ever experienced. The first room we stayed in was not very clean at all, the plush chair was falling apart (the side of it was visibly hanging off), the wall was covered in ants, the place where the lightbulb screws in on the stand up lamp was hanging from the lamp, the coffee pot didn't work..... Even though, the location of the hotel is a good point to start off tourist activities, the hotel itself needs renovations, new furniture, and different staff. The receptionist during day time did not do her job and had a negative attitude, and the night receptionist was scared to death of the people who stayed in the hotel as well as of the area the hotel is in. When we were not able to get into the first room they sent us in - because the safety lock was on from the inside - we got a room a fe... Read more

We rented a non-smoking King and the box spring was 2 twins that were collapsed in the middle because the support was not properly installed. The bathroom door would not close and the door to the room was very temperamental to open with the key. Breakfast consist of waffles, cereal, or bagels with coffee, milk or juice (so much for well rounded breakfast)

Very nice, reasonably priced, great location; close to downtown. Outdoor Pool and food selection for breakfast were both wonderful. I had to leave very early, however they had coffee made at 5AM and I grabbed a yogurt to take with me. Very accommodating.

It is an old property. Bathrooms are old fixtures and such. Carpet should be replaced with hardwood floors. Carpets trap dirt and smells and make rooms look outdated. Windows should have have a sheer curtain, so light comes thru but not everyone can Gluck in you window when walking by. But for the price it is what one should expect.

Stayed here because we didnt want to spend a fortune on other hotels in the area. You really can't go bad with any hotel in the area as far as location which is why we stayed here. It is very old and could use many updates and new stuff. We also noticed some large roaches outside at night. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms and no bugs inside. If you are on a budget and are looking for something cheap and decent this is an option to consider.

Upon arrival the person working the front desk was very friendly and nice. Going into the room there were ants on the bed, table and climbing the wall. Missing the alarm clock, toilet was running, you had to play with the lever to get it from running water. I would not recommend this place, the hallway smelled of marijuana. Even though we had a no smoking room the bed linens had multiple holes in it.

When I got to my room, I couldn't believe how they let this place fall apart from the inside out! And they let people stay in such a place like that, they should be ashamed of themselves! I had requested an early check in and when I arrived the clerk did not even check, but already had an attitude when she said it probably wasn't possible. Thank God there was no bad odor in the room. The room was okay but bathroom was dirty and need some updates. The Wyndham Group should remove this Ramada location from their chain. The hotel is old, the staff was socializing in the hallway with guest(men)and blocking access to my room. There was also an 18-wheeler parked in front of my window the entire weekend. Apparently this hotel is frequented by Contractors. I didn't really raise sand because we were there for a funeral and didn't want to upset my husband anymore. I would never stay at this hotel again

I booked a room at the Ramada Inn in Wilmington on June 27,2016. Upon my arrival I was charged a much higher price than I agreed to when I booked online. Also, the room was disgusting and the television only got 6 channels. When I inquired as to why this was so, and if anything could be done to remedy the issue, I was given lame excuses and basically told to "deal with it". I'm giving three stars only because the two receptionists I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The hotel, itself, however...yeeeow! This place needs to either be updated or demolished. The walls were stained. The feet of the furniture looked liked they'd been gnawed by dogs. The shower tile grout was mildewy. The WiFi was overcrowded.
