I absolutely love this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast it is very very good a lot to offer. And the front desk agents were so nice and treated us like family I ran into a few of the housekeepers and they were very nice too. I will definitely be back there in the future.

The rooms are clean and beds are ok. I think we came on a popular weekend because it cost $96. We reserved a room with a crib. So when we arrived I had to remind the lady at front desk. They promptly set up a crib but then told us it was $10 extra. Never paid extra for a crib for my baby. I'm a member of choice hotel and have had much better experience with comfort inn.

To start out, the place looks worn. It looks old, and in need of repairs and paint. Our room was ok. We were lucky, my mother and father in laws room, looked like some of its furniture was about to fall apart. Plus the toilet clogged up and their phone did not work. Our room just needed caulking in the shower. The places choice of greener woke us up the first morning with the smell of cat urine. That night the rooms next to us had road work crews staying in them. And their truck starting up... Read more

Note I rate this a 5/ excellent based on hotels in it's price range, however I have stayed in actual 4 star hotels that were no better than this place and for much more money and only a slightly better location. This place is modern, has great decor to be a mid range hotel, and has all the basic room amenities you would hope for in a hotel. From the art work, the staircase in the lobby, the salt water aquarium, and well stocked clean breakfast area, it really has everything you could look for wi... Read more

We travelled to Wilmington for a funeral! Previously booked at another hotel in same area only to be told that we could not check in until 3pm. So, I went into Quality Inn and explain to desk clerk that we needed to check in to get ready for a funeral. She immediately got on the radio to housekeeping and in minutes we were checking into the room! I really appreciate the kindness! This may not be a 5 star but customer service is 5 Star!!!

After reserving this room with a no refund agreement I started reading comments and reviews and it made me very nervous. We stayed at Quality Inn for 5 nights and I was very pleased. While over all it could have been cleaned a little better in the bathroom, there was no bugs as previously mentioned in other reviews. I felt safe and did not see anything shady as some other people had said. This hotel is very centrally located as it is about 10 minutes from Wrightsville Beach, Mayfaire Town shopp... Read more

Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Surprisingly the beds were quite comfortable and the entire room was very clean. The pool area was maintained properly and inviting. There was a sense of security while walking around the grounds. They also provide cookout sections and nice accommodations for families traveling with pets. Will certainly book at this location the next time traveling in this area!

I drove 12 hrs straight from Ny and arrived earlier then the check in time, Vilsa at the front desk allowed me to check in earlier after seeing how exhausted I was. Vilsa made a fresh pot of coffee for me and was so pleasant!! I had an excellent breakfast the next morning including Belgium waffles, sausage biscuits, English muffins etc everything was excellent!! Hattie was a wonderful lady at the breakfast bar who would assist you with your needs!! I wanted to take her back to NY ! Gloria and Bi... Read more

4 calls to to front desk and "2" 911 calls for excessive noise, drinking, music on July 4th weekend till the early hours of the am. This hotel houses many contractors working in Wilmington, NC who are heavy drinkers. Front desk staff advised the 'men' to change their behavior multiple times and they were ignored. That means this behavior has not been addressed in the past. Police were called 2x (911) and chose to let the "front desk" handle it. If you enjoy drunk people, loud music, loud conv... Read more

For the price I paid for this room a night, the room was not worth it. The bedspread had bleach stains on it, the furniture was worn and outdated. I've stayed at this hotel plenty of times in the past and the rooms were nicer. I guess they have some decent rooms and some not so decent rooms. I didn't even bother to pull the covers back to sleep, or should I say nap because I didn't sleep at all.

The lady at checkin was very nice. Room was not clean. Looked like it was no effort in cleaning the room. Dirt in corners of bathroom, hair on floor, bathtub, trash behind mini fridge. Beds were clean and comfortable. I know for a fact it wasn't Choice standards as I used to be a Housekeeping Supervisor for a Choice hotel. I was very disappointed. Found a live roach in room in the bathroom and killed it. I left the roach on the table hoping it would get cleaned but I doubt it. Told young lady fr... Read more

This hotel offers comfortable, clean rooms (the king-size bed is great!) at a reasonable price in a location convenient to historic downtown Wilmington and to Wrightsville Beach. The breakfast buffet has a good range of offerings: make-your-own waffles, boiled eggs, breakfast biscuits, cereal, coffee, yogurt, etc. The front desk staff is efficient and friendly. "Jane" is particularly knowledgeable and courteous and welcoming.

The rooms were a good size, clean and beds were comfortable. We slept very good and feel that this is a good value for an overnight stay. Breakfast was the usual and included waffles. Would have stayed longer to see some of the sights but was on a schedule.

The one saving grace for this hotel is that the free breakfast is above average for a continental breakfast. It is all self-serve, but they have waffles, chicken and sausage biscuits, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals and milk, pastries and breads, and coffee and juices. You can not take food back to your room as noted by the 6 plus signs in the small breakfast area prohibiting it. Other than that our experience at this location was one of the worst experiences at a motel ever, and all due to ... Read more

Front desk representatives were very friendly and accomodating. I had to check out a day early and I was not charged for the 2nd night. They were able to refund the 2nd night stay since I checked out before noon.

Place was reasonable for the locality. looks very gloomy and scary outside but inside is not bad. Lot of smokers around and the clientele or ok. We were disturbed heavily by drunken female making so much noise banging doors, walls, etc., Staff were very polite and accommodating.

Though the staff was friendly, the hotel room had a creepy feeling and is in extreme need of an update. The carpet felt unclean and there were no amenities in the bathroom and the refrigerator was in need of defrosting.
