Nice, clean, and in the perfect location. Everything is updated in the lobby! Rooms are nice and the breakfast selection is perfect! Great value for the money and if is also located not too far from the beach and cute downtown shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly. They even called up after we got into our room to ensure everything was ok.

Plenty of parking and overall very quiet. Staff was friendly and accomodating. It's a walk or a short drive to historic downtown Swansboro which is worth checking out especially to catch their summer concert series. I would stay here again and recommend it if you want a hotel in this area. We were driving to Emerald Isle most days, so going over the bridge was a bit annoying but that's not the hotel's fault. It just needs to be wider with bigger guardrails IMO. Nice small, quiet pool and good br... Read more

My family and I stayed here because it was one of the hotels that my cousin chose for his wedding. It's was a little far from the public beach access but it was a great location as far as what was around it. There were several restaurants however I do not recommend the Ice House on the river restaurant) there was a Piggly Wiggly right across the parking lot as well as a Dairy Queen.

I stayed here 3 years ago when it was new and the hotel was immaculate. This time, not so much. I remember the staff being friendly 3 years ago, but when we checked in after a longer than expected drive, it seemed like we were bothering the guy at the front desk. We went up to the second floor only to realize our keys didn't work. In the room it had a weird, faint sewage smell and we found someone else's dirty towel behind our door. The fitness room used to be great, but it looked like it hadn't... Read more

The staff at the Hampton Inn, Swansboro were the friendliest I've encountered in a long time. Always a friendly greeting, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. The breakfast was excellent! Every evening there were freshly baked cookies. The complimentary coffee station was refreshed at regular intervals. We stayed two nights at the Hampton Inn in Swansboro. The hotel is conveniently located and comfortable. The breakfast and exercise room were acceptable (and I'm picky). What made the hotel standout was the customer service. We arrived late on a weekend night and wanted a good take-out dinner. We have been to this hotel many times and have enjoyed it each time. This visit was no exception. July 4th weekend or not, they had plenty of food in the mornings & cookies in the evenings. We stayed July 2016 for just a couple of nights. This placed us close to the beach, but with a bit more reasonable rates. We enjoyed the king studio. The staff was very helpful, breakfast was good. Only real complaint would be that the pool was a bit small. We would have used it, but on the couple of occasions we considered it there were too many people in close quarters.

Nice hotel in Swansboro, a quaint little town on the inter-coastal- waterway just miles from the beach. Yana's is a 50's restaurant with walls covered with posters of James Dean and Elvis Presley.
