I came to Pinehurst for a business trip and stayed for only one night. Great experience and felt very at home. The receptionist, Megan, was so awesome. I came in from work around 9pm and forgot to get change for the drink machine... I was so bummed. She then pulls out her wallet and gave me some change for a drink! So sweet... I'll be sure to reimburse her tomorrow before I leave, but I just thought that was so kind. Thought I'd give her a shout out and let her bosses know they're hired a good o... Read more

I stayed here for 2 nights and was extremely pleased. The room was a very nice size, spotless and comfortable. The beds have quality sheets, comforter and 4 pillows on each queen bed. (2 firm & 2 soft). Check in was fast and easy. Breakfast was a full hot breakfast to include some wonderful hot cinnamon rolls. The hotel was pretty full however it wasn't noisy except in the morning when people would leave and let their doors slam. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

While not my first choice, I was happy to have a place to stay on this crazy-booked week. The staff were cordial and delivered wake-up calls on time. I didn't sample the breakfast. The exercise room was mid-sized for a Holiday Inn, which was a nice surprise. The only complaint I have is that the room I booked was a King, and I was given a Double when I arrived (couldn't change due to the rest of the hotel being booked).

Usually we love Holiday Inn Express, but this hotel was a bad experience. There was a very loud, disruptive wedding party on our floor. Door slamming, yelling in the halls, you name it. Someone from the front desk came up and talked them into going downstairs to continue their party...not end the party. When asked about the problem her answer was, "I'm only one person". Really? They were quieter when they came back up between 1am-3am but it still woke us up again. When we checked out there was ... Read more

I had stayed at this location about 7 years ago and enjoyed it then and did so again. It had been recently updated from what I could tell. All areas of the hotel were clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good (except had to ask for fruit, was told they were out, then saw green bananas appear later). It is near many great places to eat within walking distance like Chili's, Bonefish, and Kickback Jack's. Staff was friendly. I will stay here again next time I come to golf.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 2016 while visiting friends. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and we are overall happy with our stay. My only complaints are the bed is way too firm (think brick), there was no bathroom exhaust and the textured paint was peeling in the shower. However, it was very clean. The buffet was good, although they were out of rolls the first morning. But there are so many other choices, it really wasn't an issue.

Stay overnight for a weekend birthday celebration. We stayed in a suite on the second floor. The room and bathroom was clean. Was a little disappointed in the "suite", room was larger than a standard room but not worth the extra money. The elevator needs attention, hot every time we entered and exited the hotel. Overall pleased with the hotel.

My sister and I were on a road trip and booked this placed an hour before our 10 p.m. arrival. There was a handicap room available so we booked it and was very pleased with how large the room was. This hotel is very clean and the staff was pleasant and efficient. I must say that the bed was so comfy and their plump, fluffy pillows made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud! The windows have a light blocking curtain which overlaps so it keeps most of the outside light at bay. Good a/c, grea... Read more

Usually stay here on trips to the area. I received a room on the first floor as request but the room was at the end of the long hall (139). After placing luggage in the room my wife tried to get some hot water to wash her face. There was no hot water. I was told to run the water for ten minutes. That seemed excessive. If there is no hot water then we would be switched to another room the next day. That seemed unreasonable at the time. When I reserve a room I expect that hot water would be ... Read more

This is a very nice hotel and the staff is always friendly , top notch first class . They always honor my IHG membership . The complaint I have is I left a coat in my room . I contacted them about it and they said they had it and would save it for me . I contacted them again about mailing it to me and I was told it was no longer there . I made 8 calls inquiring about this coat and I get no help . As a hotel chain they are top notch and its my favorite place to stay when I come there .

I had booked a two night stay at a cheaper place nearby, but after the first night, I cancelled and moved to the Holiday Inn Express. Great Service, Friendly Staff, Clean, comfortable, modern rooms. The breakfast alone is almost enough to bring us back again. Pool is small, but we were the only ones using it. Cheaper doesn't always mean better. I will be back for sure!

Spent 3 nights here while visiting a family member stationed at Fort Bragg. The Room was very spacious. I was impressed by the helpful front deck no matter the time of day. The buffet breakfast was worth the effort. Plenty to eat, hot coffee served in a room that was tidy. Small pool and exercise room were adequate. The only problem was the electric room lock got stuck, delaying departure by about 30 minutes, the manager gave a reduction of the rate as compensation. No complaints here.

I was charged $250 for smoking in my room. Problem is, I am a non-smoker and have never smoked ANYTHING in my life. I advised the hotel and management told me they had evidence. The evidence was a housekeeper saying she smelled smoke and a front-desk clerk attesting. There was no smoke odor, as I cannot breathe in the presence of cigarette smoke and would have surely complained. I don't understand how this happened, but you are at their mercy as you cannot defend against the accusations. This CA... Read more

Hotels are meant to give you a place to sleep and relax right? Well this one has pillows that remind me of balloons. They were very over inflated and extremely uncomfortable. There were no options for less inflated pillows either. Otherwise the stay was nice, but I think this needs to be looked at and fixed.
