Great hotel, clean rooms, clean comforters for each guest, wonderful beds, great experience except for the pool. the water was too cold to get in & swim. The breckfast room was spacious & had a good variety of food items. Also had cookies available in lobby in the evening.

Very nice hotel. I thought it was new, but it's ten years old. The staff was very friendly. A special shoutout to Mary and Paul. Breakfast was good and well stocked. The pool area was clean as well as the exercise room. We were offered a delayed checkout which was great. I would definitely stay here again.

First time we have stayed here and we will come back! A nice clean and quiet hotel. Our bed was not really very comfortable (could have been a better mattress, but maybe it was just our particular bed in our room). It was clean and fresh though. Everything else was fine. Staff was very nice.

My mom and I went drove up to Cashiers/Highlands from Atlanta in March 2016 for a girls weekend away from the husbands and kids. We had such a great time and a much needed getaway. We stayed at the Hampton which was just a few minutes from downtown Cashiers and about 25 minutes from the Highlands. The hotel itself was very nice. It had a nice pool (we didn't use it) and the breakfast was great too. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The hotel itself looks almost brand new! We will g... Read more

We were traveling through the area to try our hand at some Gem mining. We chose this hotel just because of proximity to our days activities. We arrived at midnight with our four tired kids. The staff was very friendly! Absolutely loved the space in our double queen suite. I sure wished we could of stayed another night to take in all the beautiful surroundings.

My husband and I stayed in the Cashiers/Sapphire Valley Hampton Inn for 2 nights recently. This was the 4th year we've used this hotel for a few nights in the spring. We enjoy the large room. This year we were on the top floor and on the view side. I did not think there was a mountain view from any of the rooms, but from the upper floors, there is a good view of adjacent mountainsides. This added to our enjoyment of the hotel and room. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast w... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for a wedding weekend recently and we were not blown away by any means. Since the hotel chains are very limited in this area they can charge higher prices because the supply is so limited. Since we had a larger party it would have been a better deal to rent a larger cabin in the mountains. Do you own research and make time to do some shopping. Everything with our stay was fine and the building was clean, we just expected a lot more for the price we paid.

The Hampton Inn & Suites at Cashiers-Sapphire Valley is a perfect hotel for a wedding trip. It is clean and neat and perfectly located. What made this stay memorable was one of the managers, who I am certain was working 24/7 during our stay. He was incredibly helpful on more than one occasion; but more importantly, his gracious greeting and smile seemed to be everywhere. This is a great family hotel, but in my travels, Paul is one of the outstanding hospitality managers I have met. Thanks, ... Read more

Nice Hampton in a beautiful area. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Bath was clean and nice view of mountains over the parking lot. Easy access to area attractions, restaurants, etc. Stayed 2 nights on points and it was a great get-away.

The area is beautiful and the hotel does not take advantage of that. The rooms are dated and the mattresses old and uncomfortable. Snacks in the shop are excellent but way overpriced and the breakfast should be skipped if at all possible.

We were booked into a King Suite with a mountain view and the room lived up to it's description. The room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. All personnel were very helpful and accomodating. They have an unusually large and pleasant breakfast room complete with an excellent assortment and complimentary USA today. This is a perfect place for a short stopover to see all the Cashiers, Sapphire and Highlands area.

Everything was to our liking, including the mountain lodge theme of the hotel with the giant stone fireplace. Rooms were fresh and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. We approached from the east, so it felt like an oasis in the forest coming through the National Forest, and it was.

We spent nights 2-5 at the Hamptons Inn and were super pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. This place was so nice compared to the "Highlands Inn" in which we reluctantly spent one miserable night...(it was nasty, hot, musty, not hot water in shower and twin beds terribly uncomfortable!) The next day we looked around and found this Hamptons Inn and to our great relief, it was super clean, cool and staff super nice! Best of all, they had rooms available with 2 queen beds for our... Everything was fine with this hotel. We ended up booked into a handicap room with no view, but it was very nice. What amazed me was that because I booked through tripadvisor I will not receive any Hilton Honor Points for my stay. This surprised me because 200 Main encouraged me to rate them on tripadvisor. I'm sure that if I were in their honor program I would be receiving points. The staff was very friendly and nice and has all the best Hampton Inn Amenities. It has a fitness center, ... Read more

We spent part of a week here. The summer weather is great, and there are rocking chairs on the porch to enjoy the weather and the view. There's not much competition among hotels in this are since most accommodations are either time share condos or mountain cabins. This hotel is typical Hampton in regular amenities, but the location and the lodge looking lobby make it more special. Nothing to complain about.

This location is perfect for picking up/dropping off your child from camp and sight seeing, etc. However, I experienced the rudest receptionist I have ever met in my life! She was surly and curthe and didn't really care about my stay. If you can get past this then you should be fine. The breakfast was decent. The carpet in the room wold stick to your feet as you walked across.

Great location for those interested in Water falls and hiking. Decent, not great breakfast. Rooms are spacious, decent bathroom, small closet. Small fridge and microwave save $$. About 10 miles west of Cashiers. Front desk has maps of waterfalls worth seeing in area. Be sure to go to Highlands, definitely the "class" of the area!

Positives: Clean, good water pressure, centrally located to hiking, complimentary tea and coffee all day Negatives: Breakfast only had one protein option, and fruit was bruised and old both days. The indoor pool was so cold it took our breath away....soooo cold. Did I mention it was cold? Elevator was very slow.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June. This is a "smaller sized" Hampton compared to most we have stayed at. To the best of my knowledge it is the only "national chain" hotel in the area. It sits on the main road thru the area, and is on a hillside slightly above the roadway. There are trees and hillsides around it, so it is in a quiet setting. Room was fine - no problems. Parking was very adequate. Never had trouble finding a spot close to front door I noticed some negative comm... Read more

A friendly smile is noted from me when I travel. I have never had an experience like this at a Hampton Inn. I noted a supervisor checking rooms letting each door slam as she went in and out of them checking to see if they were ready. On my floor there were several do not disturb signs on doors. I am sure they were none to pleased with slamming doors at 10 am.

We stayed at this hotel in October 2006 when they first opened. We just happened to be back on their 10 year anniversary in October 2016. We found the same quality as when it was new. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. I didn't see any 10 years wear on anything! Very nice. Breakfast in the AM had various choices of hot and cold. Plenty of parking and easy to find outside of Cashiers. We enjoyed our night at the Hampton in Sapphire and would go back again.
