Starting off with wonderful service from Natalie and Carlos the clerks at the front desk they made this trip very lovely, they were very friendly and perfect at helping with all my lodging needs. The breakfast as well was very nice it seemed like the fruit salad had to be from perfectly plucked fruits. Overall this was a very pleasant stay, i would definitely come here again for a visit.

Located off of Capital Blvd, I chose this hotel because of convenience. I was pleasantly surprised by Natalie at Guest Services. She was extremely patient & helpful, as well as knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean & comfortable. The hotel itself was quiet even though they seemed fairly busy. It is a great location for people who are traveling to this area for work or for pleasure. Wifi is easy to access & works very well compared to most. There are jacks for plugging in your device... Location is ideal to get to the museums and State Capitol Buildung. Our room on the 6th floor was ideal and we had a great couple of nights sleep. However the issue for us was the fact that the pool area was locked off (no mention was made when we booked) and the staff were unwilling to allow access to the patio area. This meant that there was no place to sit out side the hotel other than a bench in the shade used by smokers, despite the temperature being in the high 80s. We particularly chose t... Read more

The staff was really nice and the room was clean and the in need of some updating. I was in room 608 were the toilet handle is broken and the wrong size lid is on top of the toilet. All in all I would gladly stay here again. I really only had one issue and that was that room 608 is connected to another room by a locked door but I could hear the people in the other room through the door {getting it on}. I recently became a rewards card member and when I checked in the staff greeted us and gave us... Read more

The hotel is nice and the staff very pleasant. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant though unless you have a lot of time on your hands as it is woefully understaffed. Breakfast is very good but if the hotel is full there may be no food on the buffet and, again, a long wait until there is. The hotel in general is nice and clean.

The stay was a pleasure due to the caring service of Natalie Eroh at the front desk. She is extremely kind and friendly. I recommend it highly. She went over the top to help with all our families needs. The pool and hot tub were clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

I was on a business trip, and I didn't have a lot of extra time, but ... this hotel gave me the best night's rest I have had in a LONG time. Yes, they had the expectable amenities for the price range (which was very reasonable), but there just seemed to be that "extra" in the way the staff ran the place. Also, the wi-fi seemed to be running especially well, even with my ancient laptop.

What can you say about a front desk staff that takes care of their guest. This hotel is marvelous with the care of the guest. Natalie is the best. She make sure that guest are taken care of and feel welcome. That is what set a hotel apart from others. Lawrence check me in and had never meet me but was aware that I was a frequent guest and made sure that I was taken care of and the staff in the dining area during the morning is a very good staff. A great hotel to stay while in north Raleigh.

Room was clean ( sheet were very thin) and I slept well. I looked forward to the breakfast buffet but was extremely disappointed. At 8:45 the eggs and bacon were cold ( I'm sure if a Health Inspector came they would mark them far below the 96 rating that was posted) Even the orange juice was served at the wrong temperature,it was lukewarm. The bagels were hard and sale and no cream cheese. I only had yogurt and milk. I was ignored by the wait staff so I went to the desk and told them about the p... Read more

Visited the hotel for another concert in the area. We stayed at this hotel a year or so ago for another concert and found it to be comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient. So we booked the hotel again and was very pleased with our stay. Staff is still very nice and friendly. The morning breakfast was good.

We enjoyed the hospitality of this Holiday Inn, a member of the IHG Group, June 23-24 for a conference we attended at the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, and most importantly, it was cleaned on a daily basis, with clean towels provided - without me having to ask them. My only complaint was that the restaurant is not open for lunch so we had to make do with snacks until dinner time, since our conference started shortly after we arrived. Also convenient to I-440 and downtown. We would s... Read more

The Holiday Inn-North is such a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and kept clean and the staff always treats me in a friendly and gracious manner. The restaurant has good food especially the breakfast buffet. They will prepare something on request if it is not served on the buffet. Natalie, at the front desk, makes me feel so special and always greets me with a smile and enthusiasm. Linzy, Adriana, Davis, and Sandra in the restaurant makes dining there an enjoyable experience. The staff at this hotel is superb. Either Natalie, Delores or Lawrence are working the front desk when I check in and all of them are so friendly and helpful. If I have a special need they are so happy to take care of it. Recently, my wife accompanied me on the trip after a recent surgery. We needed a handicapped room for special showering needs, etc. and they were very happy to take care of that need. We also enjoy Linzy at breakfast. My family and I stayed here for three nights. Check in was fast and friendly. It was really hot that day but the hotel was cooled through out even in the hallways. Our room was spacious and clean. The towels in the bathroom was soft and plush first time I've every felt towels like that and I've stayed in a lot of hotels. We ate the buffet breakfast every morning and for $5.00 it's a good deal. It has fresh fruit( pineapple, grapes, cantaloupe, melon etc), two meats, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, juice, ... Read more

We had a hotel booking at another hotel, however upon arriving the room was not as requested. They refused to give us a room for the price on my conformation. They sent me to another hotel who called the Holiday Inn Raleigh North. Kesheem welcomed us and gave us a better room at the price on my conformation from the other hotel. My mom and I stayed here for a nice weekend trip to Raleigh. The hotel is in a great location, we felt like we were in a safe neighborhood. We were not far at all from downtown, which was great! It took us about 15-20 min. to go into downtown Raleigh. We did the AAA Breakfast package, so breakfast was free, but I would definitely pay the $5 if I had too because the hot bar was delicious and the staff was prompt and personable. There is also a Dunkin Doughnuts next door to the hotel which is open... Read more

My husband surprised me with a visit to Raleigh. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on Capitol Blvd. The hotel was great. Good location, very convenient. Ms. Lynn who was the host in the dining area was marvelous. She ran rings around there while seeing to everyone's needs. I will have to stay there again. The customer service was excellent.

This hotel was great! The rooms were a nice size, clean and the beds were comfortable. The entire hotel was very clean & the common area furnishings were comfortable & welcoming. The staff was awesome! Lawrence, JoAnn, Natalie, Lin, Jeremy & Adrienne (front desk), were friendly & very helpful. The location was very close to the convention center & to lots of the great restaurants downtown. There were also a few restaurants/stores very close to the hotel, which was very convenient.

I had a great bartender by the name of Davis. He was very attentive and made sure a man could get a beer when he needed it. I would stay there again just because of the service I got. And Davis also made sure i knew about the great breakfast that is served in the mornings buffet style. Will return!

Stayed here for seminar in Raleigh. All staff was very courteous and helpful but one in particular, the bartender named Davis, was exceptional. He was gifted at conversation and helping folks feel relaxed and welcome. Thank you, Davis! Room was nice, too. Would definitely recommend.

The customer service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was the typical hotel breakfast. I feel you shouldn't be charged for the breakfast when staying in a hotel that offers one. the $5 charge isn't bad, but then again add that on to the cost of the room.. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hall ways were a little dingy and not air conditioned. Ice machines were not on every floor. The common area was beautiful.

I was in town for business and this property was located a short distance from my business meeting the following morning.. I read all reviews and assumed this location would be above average. However, my experience was negative. Upon arrival the desk clerk was very polite and welcoming. It was obvious this motel is an older property immediately upon exiting the elevator on the 4th floor. Next was the room. The only positive is the color patterns used during painting the walls. We attempted to u... Read more

Came into town to visit friends. Stayed here for one night. All of the staff was courteous and helpful. The room was fine - the bed wasn't quite as comfortable as what I've come to expect from IHG-chain hotels, but not bad at all. Breakfast was buffet-style and nothing exceptional. The location is convenient to downtown Raleigh. Plenty of parking, easy access to 440. Nothing really to complain about.
