I'm on the road every week for business and this hotel makes me feel like I'm staying with family. The hotel is very clean and has the most comfortable beds and pillow I have ever used. Very quiet, close to everything, and great breakfast every morning.

From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. My partner and I were greeted warmly, with genuine friendliness. The staff at this hotel were friendly, pleasant and attentive. The location is quiet and serene, something I appreciate from working on the road. The breakfast/work area is directly across from check in and it is also a pleasant place to get your work done. The wifi is quick and they offer a fitness center and outdoor pool down the hall. The room was spotless and had everything ... Read more

You cannot go wrong with Holiday Inn Express and Suites! They are just a great hotel chain and the one in Wake Forest is no different. First of all I love the location. You feel like you're in the country but really you're a few streets over from everything. The folks who checked me in were friendly and professional. The room of course was big and comfortable. For me, however, it's the little things that make this hotel great. Like the Keurig coffee maker in my room and the warm cinnamon rolls t... Read more

Stayed here while in town for a weekend soccer tournament. The hotel was conveniently located to a nice variety of restaurants. Clean rooms, good breakfast and the wifi worked great. One minor complaint: the room had a single serve Keurig brewer for coffee and tea. But because it was located in the bathroom right next to the sink, it grossed us out - we couldn't use it. Overall, we would definitely stay here again or recommend to friends and family.

With over 35 years in the hospitality industry, I have a difficult time "relaxing" in a hotel as my mind wanders to all areas of operations and what might be done better. This property is an exception as I found myself relaxing and enjoying the property. The physical plant is well maintained, the rooms as spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff are all extraordinarily friendly, courteous and accomodating. I would highly reccomend this property to anyone. As my wife stated, "this is the... Read more

This is a very good hotel to choose if you are staying in this area. The breakfast was hot and very good each morning. The staff went out of their way to accommodate any request. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from that are close and a mall that isn't to far away either.

Convenient to Raleigh. 15 minutes to the center of the city and close to the belt ways. Close to stores and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is good. Fitness center could use more equipment.

The facility was clean and the staff was very nice. However, my traveling companion and I booked our room over 2 months prior to our visit. We requested 2 beds. When we arrived and went to our room, there was only 1 bed. I went to the desk and was told a room with 2 beds was not available because they were full. I even showed them my reservation. They claimed we were upgraded to a suite. All that meant was a small pull out sofa with an almost nonexistent mattress. I also had to mak... Read more

Holiday Inn Raleigh / Wake Forest- Property is super clean and modern. The shower pressure worked well. And although the hotel is 14 years old it's maintained incredibly well. Great staff and awesome breakfast. Love the location especially-It's in a very safe area and near tons of shops and entertainment venues. We were within in minutes of Go Ape Zip lining and had a blast. The Wi Fi was super fast. Thanks for the incredible guest services you provided us during our stay.

Any one giving this place less than five stars is out of their minds. Truly an amazing hotel. Everything I need inside a hotel room, great a/c, wonderful shower, refrigerator, microwave, nice tv, and an oh so comfortable bed. I arrived really late and even the all night check in guy was super friendly and had my reservation ready, which was really nice because I was ready to get some sleep. In the morning I woke up in time to catch a nice hot breakfast in a dining room equipped with plenty of el... Read more

Stayed from the 19th to the 20th of August, 2016. Fast check-in, comfy beds, good breakfast. Also, the location is pretty good as it is only half an hour from the three cities of the triangle while keeping a location in the growing northern suburb of Wake Forest. We had a larger family, so we needed a room with 3 beds, and this place was one of the only ones that had it.

Clean hotel. Nice enough staff. Typical breakfast for HI&S. Call before you book to make sure the elevator is working. As of this post (and much earlier posts), .Still an issue unless you don't mind trekking up a hot stairwell with luggage etc in tow.! I myself have an aversion to such things. I think they must be trying to fix it themselves with not a clue about such things. Heard one guy say, Hold the red lever down for 30 seconds...... Ok, I'm on my way. Duh. BTW, I was on the 3rd and top f... Read more

We are traveling entertainers so we stay in a lot of hotels, often with a late check in and upon arrival the staff here were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. There was plenty of free parking and the property was right off the highway. The rooms were very clean and modern with super comfortable beds and fast wifi! I'd highly recommend staying at this excellent hotel!

This hotel is beyond great. Not only was it comfortable, but it was also classy. The breakfast was great and I felt like I was eating at a restaurant as opposed to a hotel. I arrived late and was greeted warmly by the front desk clerk. I stayed here for two nights and was able to get sleep at night and due to how quiet the hotel was I was also able to sleep during the day. There was a microwave, refrigerator and a Coffee maker in the room. The AC was great and the bed was super comfortable. Also... Read more

I'm a traveling comedian, and I've gotten used to staying at all levels of establishments, and I have to say that The Holiday in on Common Oaks dr. Was by far the most pleasant. I typically check in late, and they understood I was exhausted from a long drive and took care of me quickly. They made a note to send housekeeping a little later than normal as well. Also gracious enough to give me the latest check out possible so I could remain on my schedule. The breakfast was perfect , the gym was ... Read more

This is a nice hotel and a great experience. There was a potential snafu checking in but the attendant (sorry I didn't get your name!) was extremely professional and handled it with ease for both of us. The rooms were surprisingly big. Most importantly, I was able to get the room to my specific preferred temperature and keep it there, which might sound weird but it's always difficult in hotels. This place was close to where I was doing some business, plenty of restaurants and a Starbucks. I was ... Read more

Love this place. They got HBO and on demand tv in the room. Love the snoozapalooza on the weekends with late check out and late hot, fresh breakfast buffet from 7 am to noon with pancakes, biscuits, gravy, turkey and pork sausages, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, regular and chocolate milk, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, juices, fresh fruit, hot cinnamon rolls, and more! I'll stay again for sure!

Place is nothing short of fantastic. I was there on a weekend- they not only provide you with a late check-out but encourage you to sleep in and serve the breakfast until noon!! yes noon! staff is super friendly and helpful- there are restaurants near by. Rooms are clean and come with HBO. If you are in the Raleigh area this is a must stay!

Just far enough north of Raleigh, in Wake Forest, to get away from the hustle-bussle but close enough to be convenient. A few miles down Capital Blvd you're at the Beltline. Nice friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, at a great price. The breakfast is really good. They have hot food and continental style selections. Ample selections for any appetite or diet. I stay here anytime I'm in the area.

My family and I were in town for the CASL tourney. Other teams members stayed elsewhere and I heard nothing but complaints about their hotels. Kristina couldn't have been any more helpful during our check in concerning room arrangements, locals restaurants, etc. the breakfast hostess was helpful and pleasant. Another front desk person Crystal helped with a billing error that was in part my fault. So, overall a great stay at HIE. This hotel is convenient to A lot of stores, mall, and resta... Read more

Love Holiday inn express. Great breakfast bar, as usual, but they had a wonderful selection of different liquid creamers and sugars to chose from. Nice location. Close to shopping and eating. Not far from city center. Pillow was wonderfully comfortable.
