The staff are great. The location is close to a business corridor and right in the middle of shopping centers and entertainments. The hotel itself is pretty clean. The WiFi was extremely horrible and I was not able to connect more than 5 minutes during my whole stay in 3 days at this location. For a business trip this becomes a major conundrum! I noticed even though the room was very clean upon my arrival, the room was not vacuumed during the stay.

This hotel made me happy. It is attractive, clean, conveniently located, and the check-in staff was enormously helpful. I was upgraded to a king suite, which is large enough to live in full time. The breakfast offers many options, and the seating area is big enough to accommodate the guests (and has a fun vibe). This Hampton has one of those areas where you can buy food or snacks if you don't have the energy to go out to eat -- but also supplies an extensive list of very close restaurants, com... Read more

The first thing you see when walking into the hotel is the door mat with big letters " We love Having You Here". Now that I have stayed twice in this hotel, it is clear to me that they really meant it. All of us sensed the hospitality, and warmth of all staff. They showed that they cared for you in every situation, be it at the reception counter, at breakfast, housekeeping staff, and even the shuttle driver. This hotel is really nice, clean, has a great staff and is in a great location right off the interstate right by two shopping centers and is about 5 minutes to the Airport. You get a free hot breakfast each morning as well and the hotel is reasonably price. This is where I stay at every time I come to the Raleigh area.

This review is actually not as bad as the title sounds. I find it amazing how many hotels skimp on the iron. Most people need to iron their clothes after unpacking but the crappy irons at most hotels is frustrating. This Hampton Inn had a great iron, so Thank you! But the iron being the best part of the stay is not a wonderful endorsement of this property. My toilet backed up which was the result of previous guest (unless urine now can back up a toilet). The coffee maker was missing parts ... Read more

The sound proofing is good at this hotel. There was some sort of reception going on during our stay. It was very loud when we checked in. The good news is we couldn't hear any of it when we got the room. Very restful sleep. Comfortable, clean room at a reasonable price.

The rooms have a separated room where there is a TV with a small kitchen with a small coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave, and a very nice couch where one can simply relax and watch a nice sized wall mounted TV. We ended up here for one night as our plane landed in NC instead of JFK! We were very grateful to get a hotel in the middle of the night, but compared to other Hampton Inn this is quite poor. A lot of noise from the hallway - this is an airport hotel which means people are traveling in and out 24/7 - but I normally expect a little better soundproofing than what we did here. Then again - my kids slept through the night which was the most important issue! The decor is dated and the breakfast is... Read more
